Seems like a simple game like most Kirby titles or Yoshi’s Crafted World. But if it’s fun with some good collectibles (which it seems so) then that’s all that matters to me. Looks good and even if not day 1, I’ll be picking it up sometime after.

I am grateful to own all three major consoles so I’m going in expecting nothing of interest for me. That said, it would be nice to see the new Professor Layton in action and maybe a Nintendo IP being worked on by a third-party or indie studio. Not expecting those thing, but would be nice lol.

I’ve seen the wrong game listed underneath a video many times. I mean, I hope I’m wrong cause I love Johto but it could just be YouTube’s algorithm assuming a random Pokemon game.

I liked the original back in the day but not enough for me to play it over the games I'm currently playing. As such, I did not vote.

I’ll probably snag it and give it a play through when it’s cheaper and I have the time to play it. Looks good!

Maybe sometime in the future but I have no plans currently. I liked the original on the GBA but it just feels like an odd game to remake, at least for the asking price. There are simply too many other games I'm currently playing through to warrant picking anything up at the moment unless it's something I'm dying to play.

I'm much more excited for Peach's Showtime, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Paper Mario TTYD.

DK64 on NSO would be nice. It's an amazing game that gets a bad rep because people think they have to 100% it. I'd also love to see a new game, either a sequel to Tropical Freeze to finish the "new" trilogy or a new 3D game.

Cool. Curious how it’ll look considering it’s a costume for Sonic and not actually a seperate playable character. I’m guessing it’ll just be a recolor but it would be funny to see the character model completely change to Shadow but still be labeled as Sonic.

Good to know. Pokémon Bank is probably using external servers and networking so the 3DS online shutdowns are… not very effective.

Oh, awesome timing. I never picked up Splatoon 3 but I just ordered it yesterday for $35. I was going to play through both single player campaigns of Splatoon 2 then jump into 3… and now I guess I have another story to play after that!

Perfect content for me would be:

• Ultimate’s style classic mode where each character has their own unique set of battles
• An adventure mode with plentiful cutscenes like Subspace but gameplay from World of Light
• A proper mission mode back like Melee, Brawl, and Wii U
• Break the targets for each character + homerun contest
• Trophies to collect, with some locked behind achievements

All this would make Smash just as good of a single player game than a multiplayer one.

Edit: A lot of people like Smash Run and I think the only issue with it was that it was tied to a handheld. So bringing that back for 4-player split-screen on a TV would be awesome, much like Kirby Air Ride’s City Trial mode.

Always loved the GBA original. I’ll wait til it’s cheaper but I do look forward to replaying this in HD.

I think I have like $4 worth of gold points so maybe I’ll give this a go for 49 cents (which would be free for me). I doubt I’ll play any of them, but who knows, maybe Pocket Mini Golf could be a fun local multiplayer game.

Given the system is able to output a 4K picture (not saying games will actually run at that resolution), that means games will have higher res textures, even if they’re running at 1260p or something.

Given that, and the rising size of third party titles (and Nintendo titles if they support over 1080p resolution textures)… I’d say the minimum they could get away with to avoid insane backlash is 128gb.

That said, 256gb - 500gb would be way more optimal. My guess is on 256gb with the obvious SD card expansion slot.

I’m rocking my Animal Crossing system but if they ever announce a Switch Lite OLED, I’d be tempted to pick that up. I’m still shocked that hasn’t been announced.

How do they not offer any landscape resolutions beyond 1080p? I would love to make this the background of my 4K monitor but most 1080p content on it just looks blurry.

From what I’ve seen and heard, this second DLC wave looks way better. I didn’t get the DLC yet because the Teal Mask looked pretty bad imo, and reviews didn’t seem much better.

I wish I could just get the second DLC for cheaper… $35 is way too steep for me to consider picking it up.

Not that it matters much since the game is pretty balanced and your actual driving and playstyle around items are way more impactful…

But I don’t like how most of the “best” karts in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are silly looking. Basically, the cooler the vehicle, the worse performing is lol. This is why most lobbies are filled with people using the Teddy Buggy, Biddy Buggy, and Mr Scooty lol.

Banjo for me, with King K Rool as a close second. Ridley right behind both of them. The rest were solid, too… but those 3 really got my hyped.

I’m probably overthinking this, but saying they have a release date for Fantasy Life i, then choosing not to share it for “strategic reasons” seems like they want the game to be a launch title for the Switch 2 or whatever it is.

If they had a remake planned, you’d think they would’ve announced it here. So… Fantasy Life i at the Switch 2 launch? I gotta stop speculating haha.

Time for my obligatory Paper Jam defense statement lol. Yes the story and world left much to be desired but it felt like a fresh of breath air after the insanely slowly paced Dream Team. It has the best core gameplay in the entire series, seeing the characters interact with their paper counterparts is amusing, traversing the world felt fast and fun, and it gets pretty challenging. It could definitely be better but I think it’s a great game.

I remember buying The Sims 4 with my brother back when I was in high school and after an hour on playing an realzing the game had like only 20% of the content of The Sims 3 base game, I requested a refund.

I was denied and never played The Sims ever again. Joke of a franchise due to EA's greediness.

Gonna be another grey blob here but TTYD is easily the best, or at least it’s my personal favorite.

Also, hot take, but Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam is elite and probably in my top 5.

Gaming has become so over-saturated for me that I didn’t care for anything other than Shantae, which we already knew about (and was fair to assume it would release on Switch).

I’m glad devs are making these cool projects but I guess with so many other games to play, it’s just hard for something to catch my eye these days.

My guess is 2024 but a shadow drop or holiday release would be super cool.

I think they’ll combine elements from a couple games. Maybe mainly focus on Breath of the Wild for the first half (waking up to a destroyed Hyrule) but as the film goes on, give him his green cloak, have him visit famous locations from a few other games, and battle some iconic bosses from previous games.

We’ll see, there are a lot of cool things they could do.

Edit: I also think Zelda and other core characters will play a bigger role in the movie and not just be at the end or in a single scene or two telling Link what to do.

I’d probably mod my original Switch and use the “Switch 2” as my go-to official hardware. That way I could play custom versions of Mario Kart, Smash, and more without the risk of getting my main account banned.

Move It being so low isn’t right. My guess is people are older and aren’t willing to replay games like this or get a group of friends for local multiplayer. It has everything and more than the other games plus some really inventive micro games.

To each their own, but I think people are more generous to games they replayed over and over as a kid since they had a limited game selection.

I disagree with all the cons. Rome Avanti is sweet, Daisy Circuit is fun, and Funky is elite.

Easy 9/10 in my opinion. Great final wave of content.

If you’re a fan of replaying the stories for high-scores and arcade-like fun, then it’s an easy 8. One of the best games in the franchise, in my opinion.

I haven’t been able to play local multiplayer yet. If that ends up being super fun, it could be a 9.

It should be coming in the mail soon. My brother has Best Buy’s Plus membership or whatever it’s called, so I was able to get this as part of the buy 2 get 1 free deal.

Love me some WarioWare. I’ll be playing the single player this weekend but once I’m not sick, I’m sure it’ll be fun with friends.

I’m super happy with the selection. If I had to nitpick I’d say I miss Wario Colosseum the most. Then Toad’s Factory. Then Wario Shipyard. Then Maka Wuhu. Then Dry Dry Desert.

Curious if they’re saving the majority of the missing tracks for Mario Kart 9’s retro selection. Don’t want to use all the bangers now, I suppose.

I think this series is one of the only good things about GameMill lol. That aside, this mode does look like a lot of fun. I thought the first game was fun so I’ll probably pick this up down the road when there’s a complete edition for $20-$30.

I actually like the new voice actor a bit more, but I like em both in their own way. Glad he still sounds like Wario, even if it’s a bit of a different take.

Very interesting. Would be cool to dock the screen with all the power in it and use the second screen to play DS games and asymmetric games like Nintendo Land on the TV. Who knows though.

Mario Wonder should arrive in the mail tomorrow but I won’t be playing it until next Tuesday as I’ll be on vacation. Looking forward to playing it next week, tho!

Yeah, about what I was expecting. Not bad but nothing particularly that good, either. There are way more deserving Pokémon spin-offs they could’ve tasked the devs to make but here we are with this lol

@Not_Soos Yeah, the hype and marketing around Mario Wonder and Mario RPG makes me forget about WarioWare sometimes. Plus other big games on other platforms, like Forza and Spider-Man, are taking attention as well.

But I agree, Smooth Moves is one of (if not) the best games in the series. And after the good, but underwhelming, Get it Together… this should end up being a nice return to form and one of the best in the series. Here’s hoping haha.
