I saw this article and bought it digital.

@Pillowpants it’s not as greedy as it looks because video games have cost 60 since the 90s and now they cost infinitely more to make yet cost the same as they did 30 years ago. The move to digital is the only chance a lot of Indy and AA developers have to make any money and keep people employed and making games.

I don’t mind the blow mechanic, stuff like this happens when a game series is around long enough. This is the DK with the blow mechanic like, Mario sunshine is the one with the backpack or world is the one with the cape. Both things I hate about the games they are in. I like this game better then tropical freeze, which I guess makes it my favorite DK game because it was tropical freeze until yesterday.

I hope it launches with a collection of all the new super Mario games. They are a load better then people give credit for.

@Bored_Cosmic_Horror I have been buying digital since the PlayStation 4 and I have yet to run into an issue so I am curious as to what these problems are. What issues is buying digital causing you? To much shelf space?

Maybe they can finish Kerbal 2 now instead of leaving it in the garbage state it is now.

Suda 51 is not my cup of tea, no more heroes was one of my biggest regret buys on the switch. This may play drastically different but it looks very in the same vein. I hate that it was released in such awful shape though, it’s bs they sell us stuff and we have no recourse but to suck it up.

Pillars of eternity is unplayable on the switch, unless you love sitting through loading. The game technically works, and you can play it, but for the love of God, please don’t buy it. It is awful, awful awful and would probably run just as well on a calculator.

I love how in the movies and the first one he’s rather handsome and has hair, then by the third one he is Eggman as we know him. It’s very cool to see his descent into madness.

@MasterGraveheart gamers are not hesitant to move to digital at all. In fact most of us already have. The physical medium is so niche now.

So it is mid December 2024 and silksong has still not been released. That’s crazy.

@rvcolem1 not gonna lie Infernax gets really stinking hard at about the halfway point. And I’m not ashamed to say I had to use the cheats and even then it’s still brutal lol.

@Bobb the messenger is a fantastic game. It and Infernax are my favorite modern retros.

I’m very happy about this news, I have for a few months now been stressing about having this entire library and a launch switch that’s about to bite the dust. You name it my switch does it. Right joycon constantly disconnects? Check. Not reading game cards I put in? Check. The screen going black or awful static noise while I have it docked? Check. So now instead of leveraging my current switch into an oled and then also buying a switch 2 now I only have to tough it out until the switch 2 so ya yay!

I got the day one edition so my N.A. cover can reverse to the Japanese one.

I have the original on my series s and sonic x shadow on my switch, and Sonic controls better on the switch, I’m getting super ranks and red coins I couldn’t get for years on the original version.

If it was 2002, I could see you giving this a nine out of 10, but I tried playing this on Xbox six months ago. There is no way is still a nine out of 10 game, five tops. Yooka laylee plays significantly better than this. I absolutely loved both of these games. The first time around, even though Conker was my favorite because of my age. It’s sad. I’ve been coming to this website for years and I can no longer trust the reviews.

Is Y’s good? I’ve never heard of it.

@spottedleaf does it? I’m trying to get my 3 year old son who loves sonic to stop hitting his 1 year old sister. He says he’s Sonic and she’s Amy so the fact they took out him pie facing her is aye ok in my book. It wasn’t such an important scene that they needed to keep it. It does nothing for the story or the gameplay it’s a tiny little throw away thing. I find the fact people are upset about if amusing. You gotta have nothing going on in your life if this is what gets your panties in a bunch.

@chiptoon you are correct. I visit deku deals regularly and it’s weirder for them to be at full price they are almost always on “sale”

Resident evil 0 is a fantastic game. The opening train sequence is as good as any beginning in the series and I totally recommend it. Definitely worth 10 bucks.

@-wc- Nothing can change my opinion on anyone of those companies, because I’m not deluded enough to think they are gonna do anything altruistic. They are greedy corporations and greedy corporations are gonna greed it’s what they do. You not buying games isn’t doing spit. But keep believing it’s.

I’m not on the Ubisoft hate train that most gamers seem to be on these days, so I hope Ubisoft pulls through and keeps going. They rarely make a straight up stinker. All there games are decent length, look great and have great stories and voice acting. I’m a fan and I hope they rebound.

I didn’t have an snes, I had a genesis, but I remember spending the summer at my cousins house and him playing lttp and I hated it . It was so boring an to obtuse for 10 year old me. It wasn’t until my mid 20s in rehab that I fell in love with Nintendo and a link to the past specifically. When it first came out I was obsessed with street fighter 2 championship edition, Sonic 2 and EA haunting staring polterguy.

On the plus side a switch successor with ps4 power is a ps5 with longer loads so I’m sure if that’s what it has it will have most games.

I no BS said to my cousin last night why aren’t there any Yakuza games on the switch? Aren’t those from like PlayStation two era? I’m pumped by this, I love judgment and would love this style of game on switch.

This is a game that had an amazing amazing art style, the characters were wonderfully odd in the best ways. the combat battle system wasn’t there for me kind of felt like a slog and harder then need be. But if they can fix that then I’m in 100%

I was on a soccer team that won 12 straight games and won a 12-14 year old championship and I still don’t get the mega world wide appeal of the sport.

Based on this trailer some of these enemies seem to be wicked weapon sponges. If they can find a way to pull that off without it effecting enjoyment, that would be great. I was super excited about this game and now I’m cautiously optimistic.

I’m gonna have to call shenanigans I love pillars of eternity. It’s one of my favorite games, but it is unplayable on the switch. It is the most unplayable switch game, I have played. You spend significantly more time looking at a loading screens than you do anything else, and how many times you go into a building and nothing appears just your party in a grey void.

@LikelySatan if you take out the story 3 has the best gameplay in the entire series. And the story is pretty cringe aka borderlands as puck, so I have to disagree.

The over the top gore works very good for evil dead, not so much for Halloween. In all the good Halloween movies the brutal stuff is more suggested than seen. Halloween 1,2 and 4 are my favorites and I can’t think of a scene with a truly messy gruesome death scene.

On the plus side movie critics are on a whole plain on pretentiousness that the average human can’t fathom, if it’s a movie they think uneducated normies might like they trash it on principal, so I’m not saying this film is good by any stretch but I’ll judge for myself, before I let some person who’s up their own butt
