I’ve tried playing this a few times but I just can’t get into western rpgs, ive been playing jrpgs since the NES days. I like how almost no jrpgs have a weight limit for inventory , or the single perk point you get from leveling up. I like how jrpgs for lost part do the work. I just wish they made them ps5 AAA looking instead of stylized only thing western rpgs have is graphics.

@HeyNavComm crafted world is amazing, on the easy side but the art style and controls are a master class in gaming.

@Browny the game has been out for 6 months and we have nothing to show for it. Can you elaborate because it’s a very see you next Tuesday way of describing a video game. You have the game to show for it.

@Mando44646 they gave up on the 3ds in 2017. Do you really think enough people made a run on retro stores since then and bought massive amounts of 3ds/2ds. The only reason that store is still open is for Nintendo heads and after six years I don’t see very many Nintendo fans not having fire emblem if they wanted it

You would think that all the people that are usually complaining about the inner workings of Nintendo’s boardroom like they have a seat, you think they would know the GameCube version was lost to time but. I here we are wah why didn’t these hacks blah blah blah. If there’s one thing I can say about this website it’s that it gives first world problems a new meaning.

Late to the party it’s February 17 2023 and I just found it at my local retro store for 9.99. I never had a wii but I do have the switch and tropical freeze so I have high hopes.

@Johnion I have a had a switch since launch and a second since 2019 and I’m still rocking the same joycons on both never once have I had drift. So ya I love Nintendo wanna fight about it.

What are the rumors surrounding this direct?

90 percent* of the people that say we need a new switch, or A switch pro have a pc ps or Xbox so they can already play the beefy version of the game yet they feel the need to talk about how weak the current switch is.

As much as it pains me to say this because all my sonic games are on switch currently but I’m gonna have to go with the PS5 version of frontiers.

@ModdedInkling it saves nothing. It cost about 40-50 more then buying separately.

I got everything for 47.57 bought separately. I paid 52.42 less then this awesome package.

What game would you compare shovel knight to.
I’ve always been super interested because platformers are my jam, I just havnt pulled trigger.

Great game, I have it on ps5 and I’m really digging it, plus it’s nice to play as PAC-MAN the original video game star.

The head shooting a laser at 1:14 is almost the exact same design as the opening boss fight in MegaMan X4

My first game was fusion on a gba emulator in about 2004, then mission zero, then super then nes then dread. I’ve never played a prime but I’d love to give it a shot

I don’t like stopping mid cut scene

I love this game, but it’s hard to play on the go because you never know if the next cut scene is gonna be 20-45mins it feels like.

I want a mega man 12 and x reboot. I feel like now In 2020s they could make x 3D and it would be amazing. Unlike the last time they tried when a lot of companies and development teams were still trying to perfect the technique.

@Serpenterror sonic forces is far from terrible. It’s just nothing to right home about. The game is completely serviceable and there are way worse games out their.

Infernax was an amazing game. Wow it was so fun to play.

I’m playing Dragons Dogma dark arisen on the switch and it’s fantastic, when I heard it was basically a Skyrim/Witcher made by capcom I knew it was gonna be great and i was correct. And tmnt on gamepass.

I can’t wait for this game!

Shining force 2 is the best rpg ever made. Sega need to bring back the shining force series, none of this shining soul or resonance.

I just got the double pack of child of light and valiant hearts. I feel like the games that are 90% off that are usually under 2 dollars are usually crap. I’ve yet to find a great game for 1.99 and under.

I wish square would have the team that did the phenomenal trials of mana remake do remakes of all this snes ps1 era stuff.

I have and play the 3ds version and it’s not my favorite zelda it’s not my least favorite but it’s not my first.

I find they Kirby is still so Kirby that when I play the newest one in the switch I have a hard time going back to snes and nes games because the switch game plays 99% the same and has Nintendo’s Pixar level graphics.

I love Nintendo with all my heart, after I broke up with sega when they moved out after the Dreamcast, Nintendo showed me a fantastic time. I will on the other hand have to buy this in my series x. After playing forces on Xbox one then rebuying it for switch I feel that is the way to go.

@SwitchForce cloud ports is all gaming is gonna be by the next console generation. Physical will not make it through this one, it will be like vinyl very niche . Then next gen the big three will just sell us ways to stream their exclusivity.

Not gonna lie when I got my 2ds I bought this for 3.99 at a retro stop and while I ended up liking it I was super disappointed at first because I thought it was one of his mid 2000s off the wall platformers. I was a little shocked to find out it was an rpg.
