@Lanmanna It’s like heavy metal. people who don’t listen to heavy-metal think it all sounds the same. Me as a lifelong metal fan can tell the nuance between testament and exodus. Me not being a pokemon fan I’ve played 5 generations and it’s the same game over and over, hate to break it to you but there’s very little variation.

@Serpenterror I have yet to run in to that problem. I buy regularly from all three console stores and have for years and this has never happened to me and I play and by tons of indie stuff. Then again, I only play single player stuff. I don’t play live service I don’t play MMORPGs I don’t play anything but single player games.

I played it about half way through and then sold it for pikmin 4. Pokemon games are the only Nintendo exclusive I buy physical because they are the only ones I sell, pokemon games are like madddn and mlb each one is the same with an updated roster no need to keep them all. Unless you’re a big fan then I totally understand.

@Serpenterror except for if you already purchased it you can still redownload and play it how ever you want. So…… your mad people who didn’t buy it can’t buy it?

@DanijoEX-the-Pierrot ya it will be like the current vinyl scene where people wait for close to a year for the album they bought to show up at their house because physical music is dead. Physical is gonna become so niche only two companies will produce them and they will take forever to get, I can’t wait, I’ve waited a decade for GTA 6 I can wait another year after everyone else so I can put it on my shelf.

@Quarbit I agree I’m 39 and I’ve been 100% digital for 4 years. And in that time I have not lost a single thing or had to deal with any shenanigans. I can delete for room and re download as much as I want and I don’t look like a hoarder, win win.

@tabris95 it came out in late 2021 what quality of life could they possibly add, it should have been met alreadyz. This isn’t a game from two generations ago. To hold back Qol means they purposely held it back to try and sell me it twice.

Yay double the amount of crap. It also say hey you who bought SmtV when it came out that now your version is basically the proof of concept demo and Vengamve is the true game. It’s hard to root for Atlus when they pull this crud with every game.

Im a diehard Jrpg fan…. This series and its spinoff are lame AF it’s just reused assets and nonsense. I don’t need to fake date and fake go to the batting cages I can just do that. Shin Megami Tensei is is definitely the lesser of the two evils. It’s just a mediocre JRPG with reused assets. Persona is just hipster Trash pushed as style. I’ve never regretted buying a game so much. Then again I bought into the hype. Shame on me.

@JohnnyMind can you please tell me what country you live in. so I can plan a vacation, time must move a lot slower where you are, then where I am. I’d like to go to you plan a three day weekend and do some damage to my backlog.

I’m doing a chapter by chapter play through, of resident evil 4 hd on switch and resident evil 4 remake on ps5. The original is great, but it looks like a cartoony ps2 game. even with the amazing creature design. I love how the remake looks like all that stuff could be real, the new graphics and added benefits definitely make it the definitive way to play mind you this is just my own opinion.

I can’t wait obviously. If you can’t tell by my username, I am quite fond of falcom games.

Are they resident evil remakes on the GameCube playable.

Imagine how amazing Prime 4 would look if the new switch is capable of ps4 pro graphics like I have read. The original came out when Nintendo was still matching power with the competition and looked like it. Metroid prime 4 could be the most next gen thing they put out. I’m excited.

@Serpenterror So, Nintendo took one of their lowest selling original ips and announced a new game to keep hype for the switch. Look deep at that logic. Lowest selling ip to maximize hype hmmmmmmm.

@Serpenterror this old argument, they’re not the same as they were when I was a little kid therefore they aren’t real FFs. This argument is getting very tired and old. My first video game ever was a donkey Kong port on the 2600. I didn’t play donkey Kong country and say this isn’t the same how can they call this donkey Kong.

All this talk of returning Sega franchises and two of the biggest get no mention, we need phantasy star 5 and shining force 4.

After a few hours this game become unplayable due to load times. You spend significantly more time looking at load screen then actually playing.

My choice would have to be any Metroid game with grapple. It is such a pain to use especially in super Metroid.

@NintendoDad it’s not necessary at all to play other then it’s another amazing Zelda title.

It was an amazing game, my last console before the 2ds was the n64, so new mario 2 came on 2ds and this was the second game I bought, and as an adult I gained a whole new respect for Zelda being able to figure stuff out now with my adult brain, needless to say a link between worlds made me a gamer again, and now I have a Wii, Wii U, 2ds and a switch with 4 256gb as cards full. Turns out family members don’t get as mad if you spend 50 bucks a day on games instead of heroin lol.

10 mins would be a long episode. Most episodes with the intro song and credits round out at about 7 mins and change. Its part of the reason its become a cultural phenomenon, the bite sizeness of it.

@Maulbert I agree if I’m finally old 8bits the switch is the way to do it, I don’t like playing them on my 70 in.

If I was making a video game, I would probably look at what is out there already. This developer thought there’s not enough metroidvanias, about 400 get released a week, and they thought the world could use more. There’s a reason some companies never get big enough to become AAA. I guess there is a reason ive never heard of ladybug/playism.

I wanna play this game so bad, I hope it comes in a physical edition because if not I’m never gonna play it. Also even if it comes physical it better run at 120 fps or I’m never gonna play it.

I disagree, the prequels don’t look like people standing infront of green screens the prequels every scene in all three just look like bad cgi.

All I know is the Disney Star Wars trilogy is better then George Lucas own prequel trilogy, so I have faith the the right team could still make some really good to great to amazing metal gear games, let’s not forget then when firing on all cylinders Konami is a top 5 game company, if anybody could bring this series back from the ashes with out kojima it’s them.

Super Mario world is an overrated mess of look how much we can fit on a cartridge now on this new console. From the 8-16 bit era it consistently rates very low for me on what platform games from that era I will play. Konami tiny toons games are better, ristar is better. All four mega drive/ genesis sonic games are better. Super Mario 3 is a complete masterpiece, world is just three with a ton of useless ***** added, “hey look we can add 10 Yoshi’s, but you gotta feed them first”. Pshhhhhh. Nintendo knew 3 was better that’s why the all star remake it trash compared to original.

It is Not the best 2d Mario since world. It’s the best 2d Mario ever by a long shot. I’ve played every single Mario platformer to death and world is my least favorite, maybe its tied with the lost levels for Mario games I don’t really care for. The first time I played sonic three I was Mindblown. How did they get this in a video game? The graphics are amazing. I’ve never once felt that about Mario world. It was always the game I settled for because my cousin only has a Super Nintendo.

@Daniel36 personally I played ocorina and majoras mask on the n64 on old school TVs and the 3Ds remakes are complete upgrade.

I moved in to a house where stuff used to walk away on me. So I left my 3dsxl at my parents and bought a 2ds to keep with me in case it walked away like so many other peoples things and tbh even after I fixed my living situation I found myself playing the 2ds more, I chock it up to I guess I used to more so it just felt more natural and my 3ds always felt like playing someone else’s.

@5th313ment I personally love the game, but I am surprised the Callisto twins are not both middle aged white males, spider man miles morales is the most egregious while still being an amazing game. I didn’t even think of this stuff until I had a son, and now I feel like this first generation American male is going to be taught by society that he’s evil and he should spend his life making up for it even tho he’s an innocent 3 year old boy. With an Irish dad and Israeli mom.

Borderlands 3 is amazing.

I have yet to play a bad Falcom game so I’m gonna give it a try no doubt. Also I wish this company would have had a bigger presence in the snes/genisis days in North America.

@WreckitRyan it’s not silly, Xenoblade DE helped me during a rather dark time in my life what with the relapse and my wife asking for separation but I just lost my self in the game put in about 250 hours and came out in the other side a better person.

For a long time in my life captain Lou Albano was the voice of Mario I survived when It changed to martinet.

@Roibeard64 it’s going to be like anything else at first the first few levels it’s going to be jarring by the end of the game you will barley notice and by second game it will be non issue. It’s not like he has any substantial Monologues or Dialogue for that matter. Its basically grunts and groans All of us will be OK I’m sure

I love how in any other line of work it would be mandatory overtime, but with video games it’s lazy devs. I know people love remasters but I’m working on gta6 I don’t wanna stay late or have to worry about games the “passionless jerks” already spent years and years on.
