This is one of the best games that I have played in a few years and I want more of it so so bad I just hope this isn’t like A DLC that jacks up the difficulty significantly like a lot of them tend to do. Because I beat the game on normal difficulty, but it was pretty hard and I don’t think anything harder would be enjoyable to me. The current difficulty is Goldilocks, just right.

I can’t wait until GameStop goes out of business, the amount of money I feel like they have ripped me off over the decades. The last thing I bought at GameStop was my switch. Luckily I am not stuck in the physical past so I have no use for their crappy business tactics.

I hope it’s not like episode shadow on sonic forces where there are only 2 or 3 acts for him to play. I want an entire campaign.

The fact that I read more than one comment basically condoning them being racist, it’s just wow. I’ve heard from my black friends that the Splatoon community can be rough, my best friend stopped playing because the amount of times he was called a monkey or gorilla on discord, and i mentioned just not using discord and he said ya but you still know so many of them are scum so i just can’t. Another great reason to stay single player campaigning for life.

I just got this game in July 2024, and it’s fantastic. My cousin with an snes had it so I watched him play it once but that was all my exposure to the original, so it’s a new game to me.

I’m rotating through Kirby deluxe and forgotten land. Kirby, does not get the credit he deserves in late game difficulty. Either it seems hard in comparison to just the rest of the game so it catches you off Guard. Or it like other Nintendo games where easy to learn hard as Eff to master.

This was one of the few platform mascots that didn’t have a pure dog poop game. This was actually a fun game.

I did not know they co made scarlet nexus. That is an amazing new Jrpg I loved it and I hope they make more

This game has a very A very good art style, In plays just fine. This game is also one of the most bland meh Metroidvanias is I’ve ever played

@Mgalens One thing that I have gathered from the Internet gaming community is people don’t see DRM as stopping piracy, which is what it very much is for for, They see it as just wanting to make you be online all the time so they can micro transaction. Or some ridiculous nonsense.

For some reason, Amazon didn’t have pre-orders available in the weeks leading up to it. You couldn’t buy it there until the day it released and then it still wasn’t going to be here until July 5-8, so I just bought a digital.

@Bigmanfan Those egregious open world games sell by the millions and millions, and I will go to bat for Ubisoft because I’m not a band wagoner. I don’t hate them because everyone else hates them. I like them because I enjoy playing their games and that’s all that matters. I don’t buy micro transactions. I don’t buy downloadable content I don’t buy early access and I don’t buy deluxe editions, I still get about 100 out of every UBisoft game. But I don’t wanna feel left out so they’re evil and we have to stop them. They made me play assassins Creed Odyssey, for 45 more minutes than I planned on, because they wanted to sell me experience. oh my God, the horror.

@edgedino Ubisoft making games you don’t like doesn’t make them treacherous, and I hate to break it to you, but if you don’t think every other major company is pushing for all digital, I got an uncle who works at Nintendo who will give you Primo information.

I get the sexual harassment people can be mad at them for that, but other then putting out the same open world game over and over what have they done to terribly impact gaming?

I for one will never buy a new atlas game after I realized how crooked their business practices are.
It’s basically selling the DLC as a full price game.

Miyamoto-San does not need to do games anymore, because according to the internet he let Tommy tallarico create and design Metroid prime himself just from his laser sounds.

@Samalik I agree with your point when I was in grade school in then90s we all used to draw sonic and Mario levels in our notebooks, I wonder how many current grade school students are planing out their own fan shovel knight levels in there notebooks.

@Matl I mean, that all depends on what gaming generation you’re talking about because NES games were less than 10 years old by the time the PlayStation one and Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn came out, but they were very much retro.

As much as I love the idea, They won’t even make new Starfox or F-zero because the don’t have great ideas for their gimmicks, so I don’t see them adding another series style of play to another series. But I’d love it, I’ll stress that I just don’t see it happening.

Ducktales remake is one of the best platform games I’ve ever played so I will definitely check this out.

It’s not a gaming event it’s an exclusive circle jerk for Geoff and all his friends. The lines it’s only open to industry and influencers, and it wouldn’t work with normal people, what an out of touch thing to say. I hope this show fades fast.

I have to say I was in high school when BK came out and honestly I like YL better, as characters and because the impossible lair. I wish we had a new adventure as opposed to a buffed up old one but as long and YL games are coming I’m happy. It’s one of the things about new IP these days you have to live on edge about whether it’s going to stay or not.

As long as they keep on their current course as far as 1st party titles I’m gonna stay a really big Nintendo fan. Pikmin and Splatoon are my only meh Nintendo franchises and Xenoblade is my rpg over fire emblem. I’m a huge fan of everything else. And if they keep the current switch quality it will be all gravy.

My first console was at 2600 and then I moved to the NES Genesis, etc., etc. but when they call the Atari and intellavision, the golden age of gaming I don’t agree one bit. If anything, it’s the bronze age or iron age no way is it the golden age that would probably be towards the end of the super Nintendo‘s life cycle.

Flynn son of crimson was good when I played it on Xbox I’ll support the dev and actually buy for switch no problem.

@Ironcore I heard they are finally releasing the long awaited dlc, a box of tissues for people like you. Its only cosmetic tho as not be be accused of people anti consumer or pro corporate.

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, never in my life… lol if niche had a picture next to its definition it would be this game. This game is being sent out as a seat filled a nothing more, I’m sure people will have a hoot playing for a few mins if they were born in the 70s or 80s. It sure as heck isn’t gonna sell a single switch to get to that 13 mil goal. “I was on the fence about buying a switch, but then I saw it and Nintendo championships is coming out and oh my God I need one now.” No one‘s ever gonna say that.

I just finished Prince of Persia the lost crown last week. I was playing Zau on Ps plus and I was very similar graphically ect… it very much reminded me of playing immortals rise of Phoenix a few weeks after finishing breath of the wild for the first time. You can definitely tell it was very influenced by the prince of Persia game.

Silk song has become Chinese Democracy, it’s been so long and people want it so bad there is no way it can live up to the hype.

@Pillowpants how dare Ubisoft put out a very solid 30-60 hour open world game a couple of times a year, they should be drug out into the streets and shot, no soup for you right?

I know at my local GameStop the employees themselves used to take the few amibo that would be sent to our store with new games like skyward sword, Mario 3D world. Also 3 times I pre ordered games for the switch and had to wait 2-3 days after release because they would tell me corporate didn’t send enough to cover preorders. I’m sure the employees got theirs tho.

Even if you but physically your only buying a license, try reading the user agreement before you play the first time I guarantee using emulation because you like it better. That would be like buying a concert ticket and thinking it’s OK to bootleg the show because the band didn’t give you a version to play in your car or your house.
