Seems like if you included the sales from the Generation Pack, then the Switch 2 would have a much higher percentage. I know that's the version I'm gonna buy. Hopefully the success of that pack means we get a similar one for 2, 3 and 4 Remake.

@SillyG I think at least some of the event encounters have been unlocked in these games. Some of the islands I can't remember the name of were said to be unlocked on the eshop description. Might have the other stuff as well.

@wizzgamer where have they already said these won't have interconnectivity? Colosseum isn't out yet on GCN NSO, so if they were, they probs wouldn't announce it till then anyway. We can be hopeful. Especially since they're managing to attach Pokemon Home connectivity to these 22-year-old games

It seems like they're adding at least some of the Mystery Gift stuff in as well, going off the eshop listing. I hope it turns out to be all of it.

It does (probably wrongly) make me think and hope they must have a LOT of stuff for the Pokémon Direct, if they didn't wait to announce this there. I also really hope these can interact with Pokémon Colosseum when it comes to NSO. Seems like a good way of Firered and Leafgreen being used to cross-promote the Switch 2 and NSO Expansion Pack.

Great news! I'll defo try it out. Can't believe the game will only be £15.99 as well - seems a day one pick-up for me.

I love James Bond, but this doesn't seem to catch the vibe of the series at all to me. Looks super generic to me, I can't lie.

I'm super happy about Vol 2 being announced and Ghost Babel being included. But I have to say, Vol 1 had 7 games in it, and Vol 2 only has 3. Can't help but wish we had got Acid 1 and 2, MGS4 Touch and or Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, to make it a more full collection like it's predecessor. Hopefully they are included in the inevitable Vol 3

If you'd have said 3 years ago that Konami would enter my top 3 current game companies in 2026, I wouldn't have believed you. Was shaking with excitement at this announcement. The graphics and gameplay and setting all look incredible. Ann Belmont or whatever her name is looks super cool - glad to finally get a canon female Belmont as the protagonist. The announcement that this is just the first thing for the 40th is also incredibly cool. Hoping we get Nocturne season 3 or a new anime about Leon Belmont - and a 'Castlevania Dimensions Collection' (name comes from Reddit), focusing on the 3D titles such as, Castlevania 64, Legacy of Darkness, Lament of Innocence, Curse of Darkness and Judgement. I love you GOAT-nami let's gooooo.

Great news, but these two old games being a game key card sucks a little. Also wish they added Portable Ops and or the Acid games, as Vol 1 was technically 5 games - and this is only 3. Still - ports of these three games is a sick prospect, didn't expect to see Ghost Babel. Hope Vol 3 (or 4) does bring back POPS, Acid and MG4 touch for preservation and completeness sake.

YESS been waiting years for this game to run at 60fps like on the PS3 ports, 1080p as well is magical. Time to replay one of my favourite games ever, MGS3.

Great guide. Honestly my biggest problem with the Switch 2 is the dumb decision to not have analogue triggers on the pro controller. Hoping they do a revised pro controller with them eventually but who knows.

Silent Hill 2 Remake and Silent Hill F would be top of my personal list for third-party games I want on Switch 2.

Visuals are a lot nicer, loading times are a million times better - I'm happy with it for the price of a coffee.

This is great news to me. With this and a full RPG mode, it looks like Camelot really came to play (hehe) with this game.

I feel like Triforce Heroes being put on Switch with improved online could really unlock that game's potential.

If it's for Silent Hill or Project M (hopefully an Eternal Darkness remake) I will be so so excited.

Yes it bothers me, it's a disgrace. Artists already find it so hard to make a living, and now some big game companies want to cut them out even more. Then there is also the fact that nothing new will be created because genAI just rehashes things that have come before. It also STEALS art from artists to 'create' stuff, with no payment, citation or anything. It is awful for the environment, using so much energy and resources, and it is causing RAM prices to skyrocket, so consoles and PC parts are becoming more and more expensive. There is literally nothing good about genAI.

This is nice but I'd rather have ports/remakes of Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld first.

Seems like great news. Free updates after release to an already complete game shows a nice level of care and passion from the devs.

The Old Republic and High Republic are completely different. The High Replublic ends about 100 years before the events of Phantom Menace, the Old Republic ends a 1000 years or more before. The Old Republic as an era is also still canon, but we don't have any stories based in it's canon version yet. Revan is canon as a character as well, so a bunch of the stories (including KOTOR 1, 2 and TOR) could still be canon, it's just not been said yet.

I do wonder if in REmake 5, there will be a hint that Wesker is still alive or something. If not Wesker, then I hope we get a villain that lasts multiple entries; be it an organisation like Neo-Umbrella, or just one main villain.

I can imagine it just being remasters of Tomb Raider 7-9 (which would be cool).

I don't tend to listen to Eurogamer or Games Radar reviews anyway.

@TimelessJubilee MK8 took ages to 'light the world on fire', on release it was on Wii U and did not do anywhere near as well as MKW has on release.

It's a shame Rolling Stone put Arc Raiders on the list with all it's AI crap.

I'm hoping all the Bloober ports to Switch 2 are, in-part, in preparation for Silent Hill 2 Remake (and eventually SH1R) coming to the system. It would make sense to release it around the new SH movie.
