Very excited for this announcement - and the potential for more Bloober games in general on Nintendo. Fingers crossed for Silent Hill 1 and 2 Remake on Switch 2.

Yes it bothers me, it's a disgrace. Artists already find it so hard to make a living, and now some big game companies want to cut them out even more. Then there is also the fact that nothing new will be created because genAI just rehashes things that have come before. It also STEALS art from artists to 'create' stuff, with no payment, citation or anything. It is awful for the environment, using so much energy and resources, and it is causing RAM prices to skyrocket, so consoles and PC parts are becoming more and more expensive. There is literally nothing good about genAI.

This is nice but I'd rather have ports/remakes of Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld first.

Seems like great news. Free updates after release to an already complete game shows a nice level of care and passion from the devs.

The Old Republic and High Republic are completely different. The High Replublic ends about 100 years before the events of Phantom Menace, the Old Republic ends a 1000 years or more before. The Old Republic as an era is also still canon, but we don't have any stories based in it's canon version yet. Revan is canon as a character as well, so a bunch of the stories (including KOTOR 1, 2 and TOR) could still be canon, it's just not been said yet.

I do wonder if in REmake 5, there will be a hint that Wesker is still alive or something. If not Wesker, then I hope we get a villain that lasts multiple entries; be it an organisation like Neo-Umbrella, or just one main villain.

I can imagine it just being remasters of Tomb Raider 7-9 (which would be cool).

I don't tend to listen to Eurogamer or Games Radar reviews anyway.

@TimelessJubilee MK8 took ages to 'light the world on fire', on release it was on Wii U and did not do anywhere near as well as MKW has on release.

It's a shame Rolling Stone put Arc Raiders on the list with all it's AI crap.

I'm hoping all the Bloober ports to Switch 2 are, in-part, in preparation for Silent Hill 2 Remake (and eventually SH1R) coming to the system. It would make sense to release it around the new SH movie.

More and more people and companies are learning about it and becoming opposed to it. Loads of people are refunding COD: Slops 7 because of the AI.

I'd be interested in this as it seems like a perfect game to play handheld. Hope the Switch 2 version gets an update or something to improve the graphics.

This collection seems amazing. I think now is the point where I will buy it if there is an edition with all of the DLC as well. I hope it's not the end and they add even more. More Lynx and Jaguar games would be super cool to have.

I feel the same about Switch 2 becoming my main console for pretty much everything.

This might make me boycott some of my favourite franchises. Square keeps making dumber and dumber decisions, they need to fire their upper management.

I was so excited for this game collection. But the input lag I've seen demonstrated by multiple trustworthy creators, such as Max Dood, leaves me to wait for a patch in the future. The documentary, and game selection do look good, so I hope it gets fixed.
Fighting games in particular I can't stand input lag in.

Excited to play these finally. Speaking of file sizes, anyone know of any good 2tb cards that work on Switch 2? Been holding back on getting a 1tb until the bigger cards came out.

@JohnnyMind you're in for such a treat going forward; probably my second-favourite series after Zelda. I highly recommend the DS versions of 5 and 6, and DQ11 in general after you finish those ones

I'm happy to pay £4 for an upgrade to maybe my most played game of all time.
And the free update is massive, so that makes me even more agreeable to the upgrade.

I wanted this before even New Horizons came out. Feels special to be able to play classic games in my virtual world. Hopefully they add a lot of the games. I know in the OG Animal Crossing it was one game per NES you got, so it looks like it's the same here.

We don't know when that quote was taken tbf. Could have been a year and a half ago. We don't know if the book was held back to release around Metroid Prime 4, just to play devil's advocate.

I'm surprised how excited I am for this game. I think (and hope) Papa Sakurai is gonna deliver big tomo. I imagine we're gonna get a fun story mode.

This game should really run at 60fps in docked mode at the very least. If they get it to that in the future, ill buy it, if they don't i wont.

They're taking away multiple areas and side areas of the game, so I've really lost interest in this. I like a really long rpg so id rather it be an option, than taken out completely.

It would be cool to include story beats from Darkside Chronicles.

Although I'd love Space Marine 2 to come as well, I'm more excited about this. Heard it's baso Baldur's Gate in Warhammer 40k.
