Jesus christ!!! Those prices, how are some of these sold out? What?? Did they only make one of each? I know this hobby of ours is expensive but how can you justify spending what they are asking? If I got one as a gift and found out the price later I'd be quite upset.

@frogopus I fully comprehend that but being, you know, indie, you'd think they could come out with a better art style. Growing up with these graphics I always found it awesome when a new game released with said graphics. It's just getting old and to be quite frank most of the pixel art is not very good. There is a lot of beautiful things that could be created with that art style. To me it just seems kinda phoned in the last couple of years. I'm not even a graphics snob either. Maybe I've just grown too old and sinycal for this hobby of mine.

"Ruin" pokemon? Seriously? I'm quite ignorant on the history or significance of said shrine besides the information within this article. Maybe it's just me but I dont think this could in any shape or form ruin the franchise these people work on. I know these people are just trying to say they won't be able to play a game made by people that do such "dishonorable" things. I think beyond committing actual crimes these folks shouldn't worry so much about what these game devs do and much less let it bother them. At the end of the day they are just people with different taste and personalities, just let them be.

@KingBowser86 The VC is dead. The Wii U probably killed it. I cant imagine it is cheap to get third party vc titles. With the Wii U tanking I'd go as far as thinking most of those didn't sell too well. So I'm sure they are in no hurry to go there again. Before you start talking about first party titles I'm not sure about those either. No fees for third parties but I'm sure they still have to pay someone to port them. So no VC and Nintendo gets to save some cash.

I really hope not. This would be quite a disappointment for a lot of people.

I'm mostly worried about finding a replacement once mine craps out. There isn't too many of the out there really.

What the fudge? Who is gonna sue this guy first? Seriously, how can he think it's possible to get away with this crap? Just because he's "famous"? If anything that makes him easier to sue. This guy has a big pair though that is for sure. If he was halfway intelligent he would have kept his name away from these products. Looking forward to seeing the lawsuit announcement.

@tourjeff Dont mean to sound like a jerk but there really isn't much to learn. You get two jumps per character plus an up special. The up special gives you an extra jump of sorts with most, but not all, characters. Dont fall off the stage or get knocked off. What is it that you are having problems with?

He is just a bit too long. Which makes it seem weird looking.

Could that be where those early release copies that got leaked went?

@Wexter The Metro port was canceled before the Wii u came out. I think that THQ rep was trying to do damage control after the developers for said game talked so much crap on the Wii U. I've always stuck with Nintendo but I remember thinking we were going to get the short end of the stick with the Wii U. In hindsight I was not mistaken. I'll try and do some research but I'm sure it was on this same site I read all this stuff on. If my kids give me a chance before I have to start work I'll find said articles.

@Wexter I'm not sure about saints row but the metro game got canceled because the developers where underwhelmed with the Wii U's capabilities. It was one of the games that started the trend of not doing Wii U because of development struggles. I believe they had issues with the shaders or something like that.

Unless it's 20 or 30 bucks this guy just ain't buying. An 8 year old game that should have come out on Wii u, but didn't. No thank you, I'll support other developers instead.

This kind of behavior makes me wish they release let's go 2 next year instead of a full fledged game. Just to spite these whiny babies. "BOO HOO the game I like was changed I'll pretend it deserves a zero". A lot of people work hard on these things I wish others would appreciate that.

Something tells me this won't be as big of a success as they want it to be. Dont take that as it's not going to sell, rather it's just not going to sell quite as much. I am kinda discounting all of the go players who will buy a switch for this, but I'm not so sure we will get even 5 or 10 percent of them to sign on. We will see I guess.

@impurekind The thing with the new pokemon is that its design is based off of real world items. A metal nut sitting on some mercury with a wire for a tail. Pikachu isn't really based off of something besides a rodent. The fur thing can be part of the detective thing. You dont get these gumshoe detectives looking really well put together. Maybe detective pikachu is no different and is too busy to do some upkeep on his fur. Maybe not. Maybe there is even a joke in there about how badly put together he is for a pikachu. I just dont think these guys look all that farfetched(no pun intended). They look roughly like some animals which they would be based off. I think more guinie pig when I see pikachu, specifically because of its size. They have pretty mangy fur. Maybe I just dont see the issue with this.
