@Cobalt yeah but the switch hasn't been on shelves for nearly 5 years. When that comes to be you really have to start cutting prices to get people interested. I'm sure next year we will see better deals.

These are the only two characters in the movie and it's really only one 65 minute scene with Jovovich and the marine guy fighting one of the beast for that ammount of time doing minuscule damage with each attack.

Would that be close enough to the source material? Let's be honest for a sec shall we? The game isn't the most story rich and the action(at least in older games) was pretty redundant. So let's think about how closely we want it to resemble the source material. I just dont know how they are going to create these awesome weapons to fight these monsters. Why? Because these weapons usually look like they could slay any beast with a single blow. But if they are to remain true to the source material, you can't have the heroes one hit killing anything. Well anything besides the crappiest and smallest of foes. Mr. Anderson in pretty much dammed if he does and likewise if he doesn't.

I hope those leaks were not all accurate. Sakurai hates leaks and, as silly as it sounds, I wouldn't be surprised if he took them out just to spite leakers. He did get rid of smash 4's story mode for said reason. So who knows.

@Frendo Not to be a jerk, but honestly the eshop sales don't mean much. Why? Because you dont know the numbers. As far as we know it could be 1000 copies sold at #1 and the less on the way down.

@Pazuzu666 probably because of the additions he mentioned. Mostly the online multiplayer. All the other games have leader boards but no actual online gameplay. Just my guess

No more rouge lite or likes in my life. I tried these games but they just don't do it for me.

Something tells me that they couldn't get the remastered one to run properly so they scrapped it and just uprezzed a port of the original. Now I will probably not buy until its dirt cheap. I wouldn't have time to play it anyhow. At least now I can justify not doing it, well to myself anyway

@ShadJV Never taught him a thing, now I feel foolish. I would wait until his evolution to actually start using him in battles. Before that he would be first in line but never fight. Besides I always horded TMs, I was always afraid of wasting them on a crappy pokemon. This was all in the original Red version, when I actually didn't know all the evolutions. So I was just flying by the seat of my pants. I did always like Abra's sound (voice, creature intro????), his evolutions too. They sounded quite unique. I think it was a psychic pokemon thing because drowzee and hypno were also pretty unique.

@ShadJV usually I do. Since I clear most trainer battles quite quickly and am left with very little choice.

@EasyDaRon soooo, most of these screenshots have starfox in them. Which is only available on the switch version. How exactly do you conclude these are from another version.

So, why wasn't this in the switch fortnite bundle? Also what's the point. This game gets updated all the time which makes the cartridge close to useless, or it will after a few months of updates. This is just a cash grab.

After the voice chat comment I think Reggie is an idiot. Were he competing for that time, he would have a lot of entertainment apps on switch. Instead he talks about how small his direct competition is? What is going on with Reggie? I've rolled my eyes at his comments in the past but this is a bit much

I didn't read the article. But based on the quote I ask, why? I understand different, it has always worked out for Nintendo. Yet I can't understand why, especially after it was panned by pretty much everybody when it first came out. No one liked it!!!! So why? Why did it take so long to bring about the online. I was holding out hope for a Nintendo twist to their service, like they teased. But the phone app is not a Nintendo twist, its crap. Why delay everything and be so secretive if you aren't bringing anything new or exciting to the table? It just doesn't make sense and Reggie defending it as a Nintendo thing is pure BS.

After reading the article I have to ask, when did we say we wanted voice chat done differently??? I don't remember that. After that statement I really have zero respect for Reggie. Telling us what we are complaining about is what we asked for is bull.

This game is 5 bucks too pricey now with DLC 30 bucks? That's not even mentioning the 40 dollar physical version. I thought physical and downloadable were supposed to have price parity? I loved the first one and beat it with the wife and kids. I was excited when I heard of the second one. But at that price point it's just not going to happen.

Why the ambiguity with character unlocks? I personally think it's awesome kinda gives the game a little more legs. But to each their own.

@Heavyarms55 I don't know what they will do as it is Nintendo. I would put money on the fact that it won't have cutting edge CPU or graphics chip. Beyond that who knows what they will do. The switch is basically a Wii and Wii U put together. It really is what I expected from my Wii u. Until I realized I couldn't even go to another room with my Wii U pad.

So yes, I agree that who knows what Nintendo will make next but I highly doubt it will be on parity with the power of whatever Microsoft and playstation will come up with next. Like I said the fact that the switch has sold so well just proves to them that they don't need cutting edge tech (graphics and processing wise) to make money.

@NewAdvent It won't happen. Nintendo gave up the graphics arm race a while ago. The next system will be closer to ps4 and xboxone but will be behind the next gen. It is just a given at this point. I would really be surprised if they did anything more powerful. Especially since the switch(which so many consider underpowered) is selling pretty well.

@BumpkinRich I mostly hated the part where they were asked to leave within 30 minutes of their firing. It was pretty much "y'all fired, get out". Pretty cold considering these people were working so hard for them. At least give them a few hours to come to terms with it. They would have probably coped better had they done that.

@TeslaChippie From what I've read they were pretty much running on empty. They were working hard and never considered that the company who was gonna keep them afloat would pull out. Which they did, after that with no back up plan, there was really only one choice. Sucks..... hope they can all find a job soon. I'm also curious as to where the money comes from if they do win the suit?

Loved this game but never could do multiplayer. With the need for 4 GBA and cables. Now I can play it with my kids. Hells yeah!!
