Virtua Racing, classic old racer that shows how sad the genre is today on the Switch. Other than that been playing Lego City, which has some quality design aspects. Lego Worlds is both fun and bizarre.

If you look closely, apart from the plus sized one and the one with the long hair - the others are exactly the same face.

I've been dabbling with Lego City Undercover, which then lead me to Lego World. It's a relaxing open world environment.

I'm interested, but article makes no sense, other than being a vessel for hype.

Wow! Aliens like the Cameron film

I've been playing some older games that I've not touched in a while: Steamworld Heist, Zacarina Pinball, Enter the Gungeon. Kind of thinking whether to get Phantom Doctrine or Lego Undercover.

A most unexpected title! Had this on PS3, deffinately the most unnerving and stressful game I ever played, could not finish it. It has the most amazing AI for the Xeno, worth reading about elsewhere.

@Razer I understand. I love MK8, but I don't look at it as a racing game. Was sorely disappointed with Vrally. Used to love Granturismo 5 on PS.

@Razer based on your comments, you have convinced me to give it a try. As for reviews, updates... I like NL, but I also find that there is a large number of reviewers on Youtube who actually will update their filmed video reviews. Also those guys cover titles which sites like this miss.

I've become a little addicted to Tetris99. Just bought Vertical Strike, which is OK for what it is. Thinking about getting Abzu at some point.

Switch is most definitely not well served when it comes to racing games, any gamer would tell you that. I think it's easier for most dev's to ignore the genre. While I love MK8, It's not really a racing game. At it's core, It's simply a battle mode with nuances of racing. I think the forthcoming Virtua Racing could become the truest racing game on the Switch, which would be a sad reflection of the genre on Switch.

@Heavyarms55 It's on my wish list. Totally agree with you. Genre busting debut of something new and NL shoots it down like a trespasser.

Tetris 99, Super Mario Bros Deluxe, Downwell. Simple short stuff while I sort out my inc company.

Maybe dev's don't play test anymore. Pity, because I don't throw money around. Why buy broken games?

@Dm9982 Thanks. Yeah the reviews for that series has been concerning. Yet strangely I've never seen that game trading second hand. I will investigate it. I'm an ex Gran Turismo (not the current cloud based version), fan. I do miss having a quality racer thats closer to reality. I've got Spintyres - which is hands down, the most realistic off road sim I've ever played. So it is POSSIBLE for the Switch to have semi realistic vehicle sims.

I've been playing Mario Bros U Deluxe (traded the extremely twitchy VRally). So far I've enjoyed it! Other than that, Tetris99 and something random from my collection.

It's been an amusing drama, but no. Will avoid anything published by these guys.

Most concerning is that God aweful music!

Stardew, 8yr multimillion cred farm. Gonna try for that GB tetris theme, just for the GB music. Then prob Super Smash if I have time.

Will keep an eye on developments. Glad did not buy day one.

I play so little of these NES games, they don't even register on my profile stats. Bit like those B/W movies nobody watches on the BBC.

@JayJ Same I mostly ignore the scores on here. Instead of celebrating a genre defining entry on a handheld, they're like yeah... meh, yeah... [6]. However... you get some crusty, pixellated, retro, platformer from 1978 and they're like YEAH! YEAH! It's like they intentionally want the Nintendo Switch to not progress.

I'll be downloading that Tetris99 dlc, finally Tetris in solitude! Otherwise Super Blood Hockey, Minecraft, Preventative Strike, Super Smash.

This always was a cash grab. Dev's probably thought review sites or the internet does not exist and that nobody would notice.

I've been exploring the free dlc for Mudrunners which has been interesting. Otherwise it's Super Smash, Minecraft, Civ6 and I'm looking to trade in my Vrally 4 for something decent. Vrally proved too twitchy in the end.

@MongolRaider It is kind of strange that Rockstar has not ported the older GTA's over to Switch. On mobile I've had San Andreas, which was really good till Android updated and Rockstar didn't.

People talk about ports etc, irony is, this could be one of the better non cart switch racers and it's an antique port!

Very, very sad... had this bookmarked, then saw footage on Youtube. Why did the dev release it in this state?

I loved this back in the day. Had a 32X and also had a chance to play the arcade game - which was extremely hard. Day 1 for me.

Civ6 could do with a boost. Maybe Minecraft also.

I'm going to be exploring the Minecraft updates. Not seen any villages yet. Smash Bros and maybe I get that hockey game (if my right joycon doesn't go to drift hell). I was looking forward to Beyond Enemy Lines, but the footage on Youtube has caused me to remove it from Favourites.

@Mamabear Same, I wanted to get this. Could not stomach the gore and the pricing point. Pity as I was an MK fan back in the day.

Behind Enemy Lines and that Hockey game for me. I'm sad about MK, that pricing is way too high. I thought it would be doing well anyway, but the chart indicates otherwise. Will wait for a price drop.

This game ranks as my highest played game, out of a collection of 30 or so. Gets better after the community hall, as by then you have the resources to go for anything. My MO is to create Zen garden type farm layouts.

Trailer looks awesome! If it's as good gameplay, then day 1.

I think the morality aspect sounds interesting, if they can display and keep the consequences in-game. Deffinately not remotely Zelda-esque at all (click bait?). Blood looks OK. Tbh I'm more concerned about the blood & gore in Mortal Combat. This looks tame.

@Fazermint at a later stage, you can assemble warp totems to warp straight back to the farm. But those caves are extremely hard.

Looks VERY charming! I'm guessing it doesn't have the romance/relationship element's?
