The Nintendo Shop is dull. It's slightly less functional than an Argos shop terminal. The search options are abysmal. There is no suggestions like other businesses might provide. NSO is on life support, with lot's of visitors checking that poor NSO has not died and maybe NSO's eye's flicker and a download appears. Pathetic would be the best summary.
@bluemujika Ultimate Fishing Simulator on the Switch is really good, and realistic? I'm no rl fisherman. It might look easy, but catching the type you want and size is a challenge.
@EdScissorshands Exactly! Also belittled because of it's keyboard and low memory. The superiority issue has been around since probably tool making started.
Absolute gaming classics. I still have the original CD's in the cardboard wallet. The music and voice acting was totally immersive. I will buy these games much later, so that I can choose to devote time without distraction.
@roboshort Sadly so. Nintenolife has become "The Daily Mail" of video games. I've seen more mature content come from kid's on Youtube. The advertising on this site is becoming a pain to navigate around. Might start looking for an alternative review site from Metacritic.
Grid Autosport, best racer on the Switch and probably one of the best port I've seen in a while. My other Sept choice would be Car Mechanic Pocket Edition. A thoroughly engaging mechanical sim that kind of plays like a puzzle. An observation I've made is that there is a LOT of games that slip under the radar. It's almost like there is an "Indie" type audience that discovers these unreviewed games (other than some vloggers). Grid Autosport is a game that deserves far greater credit because it is a genre defining game with it's technical mastery on the Switch.
I've been splitting my time between Grid Autosport and Fishing Universe Simulator. Planning on downloading Car Mechanic Pocket Edition. Things I love about Grid are the AI aggression and the fact that they do suffer from mishap's. It's so very refreshing to not race against perfect drones. Fishing Universe is relaxing but also hard, trying to catch a particular species or minimum size.
I was hopeful... till I saw the Metacritic and Steam reviews. Unless this is something very different, it may not even be worth thinking about. I'm extremely content with Grid
@aVagabond It's been a year and couple of months since I got my Switch. Both Joycons now lost to drift. I play with Pro Controller now. On the one hand gaming has got better, more accurate moves. Negative is the loss of HD Rumble. So, I give it a year top's friend.
Grid Autosport. Finally a decent depiction of motor racing on the Switch. The graphics are very impressive, especially the lighting. Really impressed with it and can see myself ploughing many hours in to it.
Ah! The Preacher from the Church of NL smighting and righting the evils of video games and boob's! BOOB'S!!! Boob's are more evil than depictions of satanism, gun violence, ripping guts out of beat-em-up's.
Deffinately got this one booked to buy. I don't know what it is, but arcade games really come to life on the Switch. Maybe it's that self contained element of the handheld.
SNES Super Tennis, trying to learn how to play it properly. It seems way better than Mario Tennis. Quick sessions of Super Smash. May be look at getting a budget eShop game.

Animation looks sketchy.
Re: Review: WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship - A Decent Racer That Struggles In Switch's Portable Mode
I'm gonna look at YT for a definitive judgement. NL seems random when it comes to offering video clips.

Over priced for what it is.

Re: Video: Here's What Alien: Isolation Looks Like On Nintendo Switch
This game is the definition of horror. I'm glad it's coming, just don't think I'm ready for it yet.

Re: Atelier Ryza Producer Surprised That Fans Find Lead Character So Sexy
As plausible as hogs flying.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 19th)
Caved in and got Gleaner Heights. Stardew is my most played game, so I thought a darker farming sim with intrigue would be fun.

Well, maybe I can squeeze another 270 hours into this again... Easily one of the best games ever made.
Re: Metro Redux Listed For Nintendo Switch By Portuguese Retailer
@Mgene15 I'd happily take a well made old game over the plethora of dime-a-dozen indie, retro, platformers.
Re: River City Melee Mach!! Is Getting A Western Release, And It's Out This Week
It's got a lot of charm, but probably only good as a party game.
