What a busy, busy week it's been in the Nintendo world. E3 has now come to an end, and a good 90% of the Nintendo Life team is feeling ready to retire to our beds for long, well-deserved naps. Before that, though, it's time once again to share with you our weekend gaming plans. As always, we invite you to join in via our poll and comment sections below. Enjoy!

I tend to get overly excited when it comes to new game announcements, so naturally when the sequel to Breath of the Wild was announced during Nintendo's E3 Direct, I went right back to the original and started my quest all over again. And you know what… It's just as good second time through.
I've also taken advantage of the recent eShop sales and downloaded South Park: The Stick of Truth. I don't think I've ever laughed at a game so much in my life - there's just something inherently amusing about flatulence that I don't think anyone grows out of!

Following the announcement on Tuesday of Banjo (and Kazooie) as Challenger #3, I went to the eShop before bed, picked up a pair of Game Vouchers and immediately redeemed one for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I’ve tried to get into Smash several times before, but as I said in my Soapbox on the topic, it would take a Banjo-like announcement to push me over the edge. Obviously that came and launched me off the cliff into Smash. I’m hoping the promise of playing as Banjo on a modern Nintendo platform will keep me motivated. I’ll be picking the brains of resident Smash guru Alex Olney, for sure. I hear spamming Fox’s laser is frowned upon? Alex won’t be calling me ‘lovely’ after I’ve pestered him for tips eight hours straight over Slack…
Following my review, I’d also like to go back and complete Cadence of Hyrule: The Longest Title of a Video Game In The World, Ever again using Link. Zelda was my main (see, I’ve already got the lingo Alex!) when I reviewed it and I only spent half an hour or so with the Hero of Hyrule. Cracking little game, that.

Three months ago I was all geared up to lose myself in Valkyria Chronicles 4 – it was to be my next big game, something that was going to keep my mind off of whatever choppy waters were ahead, now that I’d just handed my notice in…
Inevitably, I played the tutorial mission and just stopped playing. Not that I didn’t like the game, with its comfy visuals and overall similarity to the original. Sometimes you just pick something up and know you’re going to regret playing it now, because now sucks. So I guess it’s probably a good sign that I’m back on the bizarro anime western front...

I wish I didn’t spend my week toiling through the low-budget irradiated city of Pripyat, but that’s exactly what I went and did. This week, I spent hours in Radiation City but, to be honest, I did ask for this… literally!
Thankfully, in between the pain, my old friend Tetris 99 was always there to comfort me. Like a chilled glass of lemonade on a hot day, or an Ice Cream Tub + Bridgett Jones combo after a bad breakup, Tetris 99 always makes the hard times better. Now if only I could actually win for once

This sounds silly - but after E3 got me all hyped for the new games we have coming our way these next few months, I’m likely going to spend my weekend playing the originals/previous titles in sheer anticipation. Animal Crossing, Zelda, Luigi’s Mansion, Pokémon, Ni no Kuni... Let’s be honest - these are the games I spend most of my time playing anyway, while ignoring my growing backlog.
I’ll also likely be rewatching the new trailers/gameplay footage on my Switch so that I can pretend I’m already playing them. Wow, I’m lame.

E3 is over! Life slowly goes back to normal yet retro gaming is here to stay. Been spending a lot of time with Contra Anniversary Collection and Collection of Mana as of late and will continue to do so over the weekend. After two long years it has come to this: Ninjara versus Min Min for ARMS supremacy. I shall use my unstoppable ninja skills to bring home the gold. It will be much harder to pick a side for this next to last Splatoon 2 Splatfest: I am a full grown adult who has yet to kill his inner child.
Obvious game of the week is Cadence of Hyrule. The game will fool you with its cutesy 2D graphics and earworm friendly stellar soundtrack and then you notice its 3am and you’re still screaming to the beat.
PJ O’Reilly, reviewer
This week I’ve been indulging in some of the hot drops from E3 week, namely the Contra Collection and Cadence of Hyrule, both of which are absolutely superb. Playing Contra again is bringing me right back to the good old days of pumping ten pence pieces into the Contra cabinet which we had in our local chippy (truly halcyon days!) then busting out my SNES copy of Super Probotector when it was time for home.
I’m also a big fan of Crypt of the Necrodancer so it’s no surprise to me how much I’m enjoying Cadence of Hyrule; the gameplay of Crypt slotted into the world of Zelda, it turns out, is a perfect match-up, it might even be the best Zelda spin-off I’ve played!

To be honest, now that the madness of E3's over I'm looking forward to playing a game of 'sleep all weekend and possibly for the rest of time'. Failing that, though, I'll likely be continuing my current playthroughs of Banjo-Kazooie and GoldenEye 007 on N64.
I did start up DOOM again in the middle of the week (I gave up on my first playthrough for some reason, so wanted to give it another chance) and have been eyeing up Cadence of Hyrule for the last few days, so one of those could make a sneak appearance.

Well for me of will be Candance of hyrule most of the time dang what is this game an masterpiece I hope Nintendo wil do this more often with there IPs.
Besides that some collection of mana, some sonic racing time trail.
In the evening I wil play some contra with the wifey.
And If I have some spare time left I wil start the last remnant.
Have a good weekend all
I'll be playing nothing but Cadence Of Hyrule
I actually have been replaying GoldenEye this week! I’ve just beaten Train, Jungle should be fine but keeping Natalia alive in Control is always hard so I’m not looking forward to that.
I’m also replaying Doom and Super Luigi U on the Switch. I’d be playing Contra Anniversary too but I’m waiting for the patch with the rest of the Japanese versions.
Um...
I played 2 games this weekend.
1. ARMS (Switch)
The Final Showdown between Ninjara and Min Min. Whoever win, it will be the Last Party Crash Event so i played as Ninjara and have collected level 20 Badge.
2. LEGO CITY Undercover (Switch)
Wandering around the city with six pack, getting some disguise tokens and some Gold Bricks.
I've got sucked right back into Stardew Valley again, ha, and I've started Nba 2k19 since that crazy sale grabbed my attention because I've wanted it a while anyways. Idk if anything else will get me, but those two I'll def be playing.
Breath of the Wild, Cadence of Hyrule, Cave Story, Yoshi's Crafted World, and Advance Wars Dual Strike.
Cadence of Hyrule, of course! Mixed with some Persona Q2.
Finished RE4 for the first time last night. It’s an amazing game but didn’t quite top RE2 for me.
Downloaded the Lego Harry Potter collection in the sale so that should keep me busy for a while now
I've been getting brutalized by the insanely difficult Celeste which I picked up this week and taking respite from that with hollow knight 😏
Possibly the original Luigi's Mansion on 3DS, the new LEGO Speed Champions expansion for Forza Horizon 4 and hopefully some Splatoon 2 Splatfest action!
Another playthrough of Yooka Laylee for me. I might actually also start Pikmin 3 for the Wii U. I still have my sealed copy from 4 years ago but have never got around to playing it.....
Playing Cadence of Hyrule which is great and eyeing up the Contra Collection and/or Tropical Freeze while it’s on sale.
There are too many games now, especially with My Friend Pedro and Bloodstained coming up. I’m going to have to make a lot of hard choices for Switch games in 2019😕.
@BigE ahh the lovely relaxation of hollow knight...
I could not have played those two games at the same time
Finally bought Celeste so I was playing that last night, but we’re all going shopping today so no gaming... wait that’s a lie, I’m playing MK8 Deluxe on the bus right now and my son is playing Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle beside me. We love our Switch! Have a great weekend.
Cadence has such good music!!
...and smash, of course!
@BANJO I hope you love Pikmin 3 as much as my son and I! We were so hoping for Pikmin news at E3, literally saying ‘please please please!’ at the end of the Direct lol.
Playing the new Story of Seasons
A windfall of new games for me this weekend, as well as watching team USA blow the competition out of the water in the World Cup:
NBA 2K19
Cuphead
Unravel 2 (ingenious co-op fun!)
Shantae: Pirate’s Curse
Submerged
OK, maybe not a windfall... more like a breezefall. Still, enough to keep me busy.
Have a great weekend everyone, and happy gaming!
I've been playing some older games that I've not touched in a while: Steamworld Heist, Zacarina Pinball, Enter the Gungeon. Kind of thinking whether to get Phantom Doctrine or Lego Undercover.
@MJInnocent I hope I do. I have a feeling we should get some news before the end of the year on Pikmin 4. It could headline a Nintendo Direct. It's been confirmed to be in development since 2015. I just hope that is the case....
Playing through FF9 and getting to the end of disc 2. Hoping I can blast through the rest of the game over the next week or so. I picked up World of Final Fantasy in the sale so might also play through the start of that.
I had the luxury of a full day on Zelda BotW this week. Mopping up the DLC bits I’d totally overlooked. So happy there is loads more to do!
Otherwise, I, feeling a bit guilty, like a spoiled child with loads of toys that he doesn’t play. Meaning, I need to go back my back catalogue and get some of these things finished! Owl Boy, steam world etc etc...
With the news on Banjo-Kazooie in Smash, I actually dug up my old copy of Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. I don't own the original, so going to play this again this weekend.
On PC, will be playing Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 1. Got it on sale recently and I've been enjoying it.
Our World Is Ended and playing some Splatfest with my housemate. Was playing Cadence of Hyrule on Friday but finished it.
I've been wasting some time playing Super Dragon Ball Heroes. It's really basic and definitely not worth the full asking price, but there's still something engaging about trying to create a team where every character's abilities compliments each other. Plus being able to experience this weird phenomenon that the Western fanbase never got to play for themselves is kind of a trip.
@BANJO wow. Hope you enjoy it as much I have. Once I started I couldn’t put it down and went back to the originals again
@SterlingEyes i don't know what I was thinking.
I am gonna finish Wind Waker HD on the Wii U. Then, if I should defeat Ganon this weekend, I,ll play some Fire Emblem: Awakenings on 3DS.
I'm going to brave the horrors of Luigi's Mansion for the first time - I was inspired by E3 to pick it up for the 3DS. Assuming I'm not too traumatised by that, I also have just the Bed of Chaos left in Dark Souls Remastered before finally finally heading for the final boss and hopefully saying goodbye to Lordran. I have FAQed the heck out of that game, but it's still taken me a really, really long time to get this close to the end. I've enjoyed it a lot, but I'm also thoroughly looking forward to using my Switch for something else!
Finishing (hopefully) Atelier Lulua. Maybe get back into Splatoon 2 and Arms (regret not playing them enough when they released).
Hmm will play dome tetrus and cryptomancer while waiting until it 4pm so I can get to work in splatoon 2
Horizon: Zero Dawn on my PS4. Although probably a bit of Splatoon 2 and Smash over the weekend as well.
I finished FFIX and started FFX this week. Will also be playing Splatoon 2 and Arms. PARTY!
I just completed Super Castlevania IV (a journey I started in Wii VC), have fought my way to the final mission of Soldier Blade and dabbled in a bit of Yoshi's Island...
Yoshi’s Crafted World. Love that game. Want everthing????? No more easy gaming.
Played some Tetris99 and went to the Eshop for the tenth time looking at Contra again. But not buying it.... Played Little Nightmares instead. And went back to the Eshop. Looking at Contra... Is it me or is the app looking great? It seems like a perfect fit on my Switch.
@1UP_MARIO Glad you liked it. I have heard nothing but praise for it, I have to try to clear some of my backlog with so many great titles coming out this year. Just never get the tome to play them....
I think i'm gonna download Cadence of Hyrule, I'll also be playing Team Sonic Racing as I want to get that finished before CTR comes out, I'm planning on playing Bloodborne too.
Nothing on the Switch right now, and that will probably be the case until September when Astral Chain and Dameon X Machina come out.
But i did start another playthrough on both Metroid:Zero Mission on VC and Fallout 4 on pc a couple of days ago so that's what i'll be playing through the weeknd.
Contra Anniversary Collection, Wonder boy returns, Crypt of the necrodancer, Super Bomberman R. I'd play NBA 2k19 but I'm still not sure which games I'll delete to make room for it.
And I'm almost getting Collection of Mana
@carmudgeon I only recently discovered Dodonpachi - such a great shooter. Makes me want to mount a TV on a rotating mount to play other shooters FlipGrip style on the bigger screen...
I have my irons in too many fires and something has to give. I’m currently trying to simultaneously play the following: The original Luigi’s Mansion, Okami HD, Super Luigi U, Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Persona Q2, Splatoon 2, Pac-Man World 2, Banjo Tooie, Dillon’s Rolling Western and Punch Out Wii. I think this amount of multitasking is bad for the brain.
Cuphead, darksiders and mortal Kombat 11 for me
Finished Galaxy 2 last week so I'm starting Skyward Sword today.
If I hadn't of sold BOTW I would probably be wandering around that version of Hyrule instead. Hyped for Sequel.
@thesilverbrick I thought I was bad with multitasking 3 games at a time. Wow, you are playing a lot.
After finishing Rime this week (liked it a lot) I am playing Rocket League, Box Boy and Girl and hopefully finishing Unraveled 2 with my daughter.
Happy gaming, everyone!
There'll be a Splatfest going on, so Splatoon 2. Other than that probably a little bit of Smash as well as Cadence of Hyrule.
@dugan E3 kind of gives me gaming fever, haha. I’m sure by next week a few of those games will fall by the wayside, but I’m going to see how long I can maintain this in the meantime.
In light of BotW sqeuel being announced at E3, I am going to be playing BotW and ARMS as well.
As it's the last Party Crash, I'll definitely play some ARMS with my kid. We'll be missing those weekend events, they've been part of our routine since they started. I'll also probably dip into Civilization for a while, and maybe go back to FFX and see if it gets any more interesting.
I've got myself into a corner this weekend. I've got to a point where I'm stuck on boss battles on bayonetta, hollow knight, Zelda, axiom verge, perm stuck on the gungeon bosses and dark souls
Atelier Lulua - and it's really great!
I continue on with FF XII (I believe I'm more than halfway into the game now), but the urge to start Dragon's Dogma is getting bigger. And in two weeks, Super Mario Maker 2 is released. Too many games, so little time.
Edit: Beat it.
@BigE good luck with those but above all enjoy as those were literally the two best games of 2018!
Saints Row The Third <3
Ii have been playing my fair share of super Mario sunshine and have to say that after surpassing the fact the camera in inverted and there is no crouch jump and long jump (or traditional one let's say) I have to say I am absolutely enjoying it and having played this and galaxy for the first time can say sunshine is the better one (the control scheme on the small planets is just too bad and the levels too linear...). If I feel in need of a change I will try do finish donkey Kong country returns (on world 8 now)
Playing some Cuphead. I love the art style and music.
Playing Banjo on an emulator! Always been interested with the series and I was excited to see the Bear and Breegull join the brawl. I've actually played a bit on my emulator before, up to Mumbo's Mountain, but my emulator wasn't updated enough to play without as many glitches back then. I'd kill for a Switch port, though.
Oh, also continuing Apollo Justice on my 3DS.
This week I will be mostly playing
Metroid: Samus Returns
Gonna play through Kirby's Adventure on the NES Online, and hopefully finish off the last few levels of Sniper Elite V2. Probably some Mario Kart or Mario Party with the kiddos at some point, too.
Mainly playing Dragon's Dogma with a little Katana Zero here and there
I think I'm going to go back to Gears of War 4 and finish that up on PC then I'll jump back to the Switch and start Battle Chasers: Nightwar.
Cadence of Hyrule...I wasn't sure if I'd like this game, and to be honest, I don't like it...
I LOVE it! Omg, the music is fantastic, the art is superb, and the level design is really good.
I'll also be playing some more Hallow Knight. I still haven't beaten it.
Switch online Mario bros 3 and cadence hyrule
I recently got into The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, due to a co-worker always going on about the game, so I'll spend some time playing that this weekend. Then, of course, there is the Contra Collection as well... not sure which Contra game to play first, though probably not Contra III: The Alien Wars, as I've played that to death on the SNES Classic.
Splatoon 2 'cause Splatfest.
Also picked up 2 games that were on sale in the eshop though I can't put Forgotten Anne down long enough to try the other one. >.<
Great games this weekend. Cadence of hyrule which I'm starting to get the hang of I think. And Secret of mana. If I find some Wii u time it'll be earthbound. And if my chit chat thread buddies ask me to play smash, I just may 😁
Persona Q2. It's an amazing game and the perfect send off for the 3ds.
@BigE HAha! I haven’t tried out Celeste yet- just picked it up on sale but HK? Ooh that one can be tough. I think it may have been the most angry/ annoyed at a game I’ve been in a while.
I’ll be on the NES Mini actually. Kirby and Super Mario 2 will be the games I play. Super Smash Bros and Contra Collection on Switch.
Not too much this weekend as my wife and I are having a weekend away in London.
But I’ve managed to chip away a bit of Persona Q2.
Going to be getting into the Final Party Crash Bash between Minmin and Ninjara (playing as everyone's favorite noodle girl) and I'll try to spend a bit of time in the Splatfest on Team Unicorn. Kind of hard to believe that support for the two main multiplayer titles I've dove into for Switch (well over 400 hours on each, with ARMS being my most played) are having support ended, but it's been a nice ride with each, and it doesn't mean it's the end Still slightly hopeful for Spring Man in Smash, but I really want a sequel to ARMS to build off of the original-also, looking forward to the inevitable Splatoon 3!
I keep looking into old, random titles, and this time I have the original Picross 3D for the DS to play if I have time. I grabbed the sequel on 3DS and decided I wanted to experience the first, which was dirt cheap at this point. I'm just shocked the Gamestop I go to even had it in stock, I couldn't even get it on their website (Amazon or ebay probably would have had it, I just wanted an excuse to head in and chat with the employees, they're cool at that place)
@BANJO When you try out Pikmin 3, I recommend looking into the touchscreen options on the Wii U, at least to see how they feel. You'll move around with your main character, and aim and throw Pikmin by sliding the stylus on the screen in your hand, and tapping to toss them, without the need to look down at the gamepad. That was my favorite way to play Pikmin, and frankly, how I think Wii U games in general should have approached having a double screen on a home console-using the screen without having to look away.
I'm playing Devil Engine. Cool shoot'em up but very hard.
I've been told that I'm near the end of Final Fantasy VI so hopefully I can power through the rest of it. My goal is to clear it before I resub to FFXIV next Saturday.
I've been on a Mario Kart fix lately, even though I suck at anything above 100cc. I may take advantage of Nintendo's discount and get the Kirby game for the Switch. I considered Hyrule Warriors but I already have Smash Bros Ultimate if I want to beat things up.
Animal Crossing: City Folk
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Captain Rainbow
Smash Bros for Wii U
Borderlands 2
I'm sucked into the mysteries of outer wilds, and the discoveries that follows. Love the game loop, very rewarding.
Dragon Quest III, Final Fantasy IX, and Xenoblade 2!
@RadoGoji
First time though FFVI? I just played through it for the first time this year as well. Enjoy! It's a great game.
@Andrew5678
@BANJO
I agree with this suggestion. I played through with a Wii-mote, then they came out with the update for the touch controls and I loved them so much I played through the whole game again. It felt so new and innovative — and I usually dislike touch controls.
Splatoon 2 - Playing the SplatFest, Go Team Narwhal!
Killzone: Mercenary (Vita) - Still mostly playing multiplayer.
Microsoft Flight (Games For Windows) - Still on a Let's Play.
Mirror's Edge (Windows Phone) - Also on a Let's Play.
Splatfest in Splatoon 2 continuing to play through Pokémon FireRed.
Splatoon 2, Wolfenstein 2, and Rocket League.
Shovel Knight.
Smash Ultimate and Persona 5.
@crudfish @Andrew5678 Thank you, I will try out the touchscreen controls. I actually really miss them from the Wii U. I am looking at picking up another gamepad as they will no doubt get more pricey as time goes on.....
SpiderMan (ps4)
Mutant: Year Zero (PC GamePass)
Vampyr (PC GamePass)
Regalia (Switch)
Probably some Smash Ultimate and Fortnite, the new Horde Rush mode has me and my brother hooked. If they had more quality modes like this, Epic Games would have my attention...
@Mamabear prepare for Celeste to raise your anger lol. I actually hit myself in frustration today playing hollow night
Well I just gave up on my backlog and I'll play whatever comes to mind, no pressure
Just bought Cuphead so there's that
Some Downwell runs maybe
Also I'm going back to Baba is You and BotW, I still didn't finish The Champions' Ballad
Just beat Octopath. I hate that it took so long to play this gem. Still have the RPG buzz so its FF9 for a while.
I've already played Get Up Early and Let Out & Feed Coworker's Dog today with a bit of Pokemon Go sprinkled in. It's storming now, so I'll likely dip back into Pokemon Ultra Sun since my entertainment center is currently unplugged.
I also hope to play more Mega Man X and to finish off Kirby Super Star on the SNES Classic this weekend. I likely would have finished both of them by now if my schedule lately wasn't so nuts....This evening onward this weekend is kinda busy too.
Have a safe weekend!
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
I just picked up Boxboy + Boxgirl and have been playing it. It's an easy game, no doubt, but it's so calming and cute that I just love it. I'm also trying to clear out my backlog a bit, so I'm playing through the Crash N'sane Trilogy. The only problem is that Crash 2 is super hard, to the point where I really don't want to play it.
Anyway, I ordered an Xbox One S during the E3 sale (I know, sacrelige), so I'll probably be busy with that for the rest of the summer. Maybe I'll buy Mario Maker 2, but I doubt my wallet could take it.
Edit: By the way, I know you guys have a network with Nintendo Life for Nintendo and Push Square for PlayStation, but do you have a website for Xbox news?
Billy Hatcher and the giant egg still waiting for the sequel if your listening sega and final fantasy 12
Hollow Knight. I've been eyeing that game for a while and the sale convinced me to get it.
Witcher 3 on One X. The performance mode is great. 60fps while hitting 4k in certain parts. Gorgeous game, and only $12 digitally.
Octopath Traveler on Switch and The Orange Box (Half-Life 2 ) on PS3.
Bowser’s Inside Story on 3DS with a sprinkling of Captain Toad Treasure Tracker on Switch. If I can finish Bowser’s Inside Story this weekend I’m going to start Pokémon Ultra Sun, which will be my FIRST Pokémon game ever. I’m a Pokémon virgin.
@Krull - Luigi’s Mansion is a great game. I’ll also be playing it this weekend and I hope to be nearly finishing it too.
@hihelloitsme I’ll be getting it on the Switch. I had it on the PS4 but never got around to playing it. My life situation didn’t allow it. But with it coming to the Switch it will be possible as a handheld. The technical limitations don’t bother me. I’ll be perfectly happy that I can actually play it this time.
@MJInnocent Your profile pic, is really offensive to victims of sexual assault. Pics like that stop people coming forward, and getting help. MJ was only found "innocent" because he used his wealth and paid off his victims, but with out doubt he was guilty.
I forgot about the Splatfest! I’ll be playing team Narwhal of course- a sea unicorn seams to be the ultimate unicorn. I’ll also be playing Katana Zero and maybe Super Chariot. I liked the demo so I picked up SC while it was on sale. Happy gaming everyone!
just finished cadence of hyrule, it's a really great game with an great ost. And I'll be playing hellblade senua's sacrifice too.
Starwing (SNES) and Super Mario Maker (Wii U).
Drop Dead and Beat Saber on the Quest.
Broforce on the Switch.
Hollow Knight on the One X.
@BigE Lol I found myself HAVING to take breaks from HK so I wouldn’t break my Switch. I had to play something that wasn’t going to be super frustrating like a palette cleanser between sessions.
Splatoon 2 as it's the penultimate Splatfest.
On the XB1 front, the Lego expansion for Forza Horizon 4. It's absolutely fantastic and the closest we'll get to Lego Racers on a modern console.
@Mamabear today my pallette cleanser has been mk8 coin battle with my daughter, ding ding xl and tumblestone and guiding her through epic mickey2 on wii. The rest of my game time was spent trying to complete boss battles on bayonetta and HK which amounted to nothing
More slay the spire!! Got a victory on my third run, but not since, and still unlocking new stuff..
I have hundreds of games in my backlog but still tempted by the Shantae games on sale... only heard good things about them. Will probably end up buying them by end of the weekend!! Have a good one folks.
Cadence of Hyrule, Hollow Knight, and Collection of Mana for me.
Cadence of Hyrule and still trying to 100% Yoshi's Crafted World
Am going to jump right into the Splatfest. Also played Pokémon Puzzle Challenge on GBC virtual console, amazing game for the time, so much content for a puzzle game.
@Aslanmagic "I had it on the PS4 but never got around to playing it. My life situation didn’t allow it."
Just curious, what disallowed you from playing it back then, and still now via your PS4?
Okami HD and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, of course! I feel like I'm nearing the end of Okami, I'm gonna try to finish it before Monday as that's when my vacation time is done and I'm back to work and school.
@617Sqn he was actually found innocent, in no small part, because Wade Robson himself put his hand on the Bible and told the truth. I believed him when he spoke without having to do multiple takes for a movie, and when he wasn’t in massive financial debt for twice failed extortion, and wasn’t appealing for literally hundreds of millions of dollars. Sorry you’re offended that I don’t believe in a propaganda movie built on the word alone of men in debt to a dead mans Estate.
Persona 5 all the way. Finally found a physical copy at my local GameStop (yes I do still shop there, it's the only game store in town), and it's sucking me in, the battle system is so much fun!
Currently playing through Gato Roboto, not a bad game.
@BaronLaw I really enjoyed it! Great little experience.
I would have been playing Cadence of Hyrule if Crypt of the NecroDancer hadn’t been so cheap this week! Loving the Contra Collection though. At the business end of Final Fantasy 7 too. Hope to finish it tonight.
Well since I lost all of my save data on my broken PS4 now I have to replay Spider-Man, God of War, Fallout 4, The Last of Us … you know where I am going with this.
Playing Splatoon 2 for the Splatfest. Otherwise I'm blasting my way through Captain Toad.
@hihelloitsme my kids being around and me not wanting to stay up late to play while they’re in bed. I would just have more opportunity to play via handheld. I bet you have a great set up and looks fantastic on the X Box
Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Restarted it as I'd only put in a few hours since getting it at launch. Back to where I think I was already.
I did the same with BotW and played it through solidly to completion second time. Feeling like this will be the same.
Zelda BOTW and south park SoT... Birthday next week:) Will get bayonetta 1/2 and Xenoblade 2... both first time playing
Breath Of The Wild, Smash Ultimate, and perhaps some more Dragonball FighterZ and maybe try Dark Souls Remastered( that game has me a bit intimidated) and it doesn't help that I'm stuck 😵
@Aslanmagic ah I see. Yeah it's a decent setup that I try and enjoy from time to time when my 5 year old isn't hogging it playing rocket league
Just playing Animal Crossing New Leaf and Kirby Planet Robobot (I got an eShop card and am buying it digitally since my old card is wrecked).
@617Sqn
Hush...!
Stop trolling @MJInnocent !
@Anti-Matter trolling is the correct word. Thank you but don’t worry about it, I have got much worse than that over the decades, I can give it out too though if needs be. Thanks!
Finished RDR2 & the new Borderlands 2 DLC on PS4 and I've just finished Breath Of The Wild as well. Productive weekend.
Randomly decided to play Goetia, a backlog game I got in a sale a whike ago. Not ashamed to admit I've had to resort to online guides a couple of times as my time is limited and some of the puzzles are very obtuse. Still, enjoying the gothic atmosphere.
Hadn't realized there was a splatfest - might power up splatoon if i get chance later (i probably won't).
Also played a bit if jackbox party 2 last night with kids and friends, although it seems really temperamental connecting to everyone's devices.
Smash Ultimate, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu, Labo VR, Picross S3, and a sprinkle of Contra Anniversary Collection
Atelier Lulua. Hopefully finishing it before Fire Emblem arrives.
I would also play collection of mana, but I'm waiting for the physical release.
Resident evil 4 and breath of the wild
I bought my Switch just a few days ago, but I haven't had enough money to buy any games. I have been playing a few freebies, though, such as Fortnite & Brawlhalla! I'll also be playing Paladins as soon as it's done downloading.
Besides the usual RPG pack, I've returned to Submerged - a game that ran decently on GPD Win but, as with most games, feels more home on Switch for me. I've also finished Manual Samuel - one of those games that don't boast a long playthrough but leave a lengthy game's worth of impressions and memories behind when you're done with them. The game's shamelessly silly and quite imaginative, and extras like a few comics were an amusing read, too.
I briefly revisited AoT Humanity in Chains on 3DS and did a couple more SMB2LL stages (I'm still convinced that most of the memetically devious clones and parodies and SMM craftworks of our age were almost single-handedly inspired by this entry), but the platform playtime was mostly Xenoblade again. Nonetheless, I'm hoping to get back to Ace Attorney DD and Strange Journey Redux in the near future, too. As for the aforementioned topic of finished games, perhaps the even more prominent one earlier this week had been Mafia at long last. A truly remarkable game at the end of the day, although the combat system with its damage calculation will never be my cup of tea. XD The rest is quite an experience nonetheless.
Since it's the end of at least the big tournament thing and probably all events for ARMS, I managed to get to level 30. And holy crap, Min Min won! I really didn't expect that. A small bit of my faith in humanity has been restored!
