Pretty sure there are media celebrities out there that get millions of questions/attention on social media and not get stroppy about it - unless it's a media stunt. Some of these developers have very peculiar ways of engaging with social media, you can normally count them on the fingers of one hand or less.
The eShop has got to a stage now where the game descriptions are badly localised. Spelling, grammar etc. Over the last year I've reigned in my spending. Reason is I can no longer justify the price and space on cheap games that offer no long term replay value.
I downloaded Cooking Simulator last night and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It does have some issues & querks, but if you work around them you end up with an actual cooking game! No brainless time hungry tapping - actual cooking.
I'm going to hold out, till I win a game. Civ is such a deep and complex beast. It's also very drawn out, I litteraly have to make notes on the situation as otherwise you come back and you have no idea on where you are or why you're units are so far away.
Disgusting. The eShop genuinely is flooded with shovelware. Takes ages to dig past the excrement to find the genuine stuff. It's getting to a stage where anybody can upload their dev coursework and sell it on the Nintendo eShop. That and the 50% Switch tax on ancient games will hurt Nintendo.
Being in Lockdown, I've had replay and study of Skyrim. First play through (year ago), I clocked-in 90 hours as a heavy armoured swordsman. Then gave up when the game levelled against me. So now I've clocked in another 100 with more success as a thief - and more considered use of skills & perks. Also I'm having a hoot as I'm playing outside the main quest and have thrown the moral compass off some mountain range. Honestly the sheer depth and freedom is amazing, as is that beutiful choral night music. Anyways, that's what I'm playing.
@sanderev To put it another way; I've never broken a bone, yet countless millions of people have. Same concept with controller drift. Just because you have not encountered it, does not mean the issue does not exist.
Very good to see. Finally the Switch has decent racers. I might consider this. Despite having a motorbike in my younger years, I find bike racers too demanding and stressful and prefer 4 wheel racers. The best vehicle games I've found on the Switch are Grid Autosport and Spintyres. The latter shows it's worth when off-road.
@Kidfunkadelic83 Oh yeah sure. There are loads. I think... Steam has a pdf manual that you can download. First thing to focus on is deciphering the icons; productivity, science, culture etc. So that you can understand what you're looking at. Next thing is the City management options; build orders etc. After that everything falls into place. Definitely is one of the most in depth games ever made. The challenge I have is having the right military units to take down a city. Anyways enjoy!
@Kidfunkadelic83 It's complexity can be overcome fairly quickly. The bigger challenge is the sheer amount of time and prep needed to accomplish your goals; invading, waiting to get a specific advance. It is however engrossing and chill. I literally have to make notes in between games.
I've been having a long run on Civ6. Reached 1900's and getting bored - geographically limited in expansion and no large army. Also been rediscovering Grid Autosport. I did try Darkest Dungeon, but under the climate found it depressing. Might revisit Skyrim for the music and late night walks.
I've lost a lot of interest in gaming last couple of weeks. Suspect I might have had Corona. Last night I saw Thimbleweed Park had a huge discount, so I bought it. Charming 80's type feel with a nice dose of Americana. It has a nice change of pace, which has helped. Stay safe.
The review sounds a bit 'off' as very clearly this race terrain is not for speed. I expected this to be along the lines of Spintyres, but with a race aspect. If the accelerator can be re-mapped - would be interesting. Shame the review does not elaborate on that. More research elsewhere I guess :/
Loved the original back in the day, even with the stuttering scrolling. This, is a pile of that's trying to leave the mobile market and claim legitimacy through a unassisted port.
Whoever developed or released this turd is probably not concerned about repeat business. Hell, they probably think the internet or review sites don't exist.
Just tried Warface... Rogue team mates in Co-Op and bullet proof undying players in Free for All mode. NO THANKS! Uninstalled after 1 hour. A reminder why I hated playing against human players in COD.

@kobashi100 Same.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 23rd)
Williams Volume 5 on Pinball FX3, colourful & exotic bliss. That and 140 hrs into Skyrim as a thief. Also, City Skylines.
Re: Saucy Dungeon Crawler Moero Crystal H Is Making Its Western Debut On Switch
Meaningless trailer. Having looked at some Youtube - looks like an old fashioned maze game with anime slides, and lot's of screaming.
Re: Nintendo Expands The Switch Online SNES And NES Service With Four More Titles
Drip feed by RNG and release dates decided by an enumerate astrologer.
Re: Video: RoboCop Versus Terminator Is A Thing Again, Thanks To Mortal Kombat
That Arnie character model is off. Face looks thinner and the smile & mannerisms is off too. Robo is spot-on though.
Re: Review: Shmup Collection - A Solid Collection Of Modern 2D Shooters
I like the look and feel of Wolf Flame, inclined to buy that on it's own.

Re: PGA Tour 2K21 Tees Off On Switch This Summer
This! Is what I've been wishing for on my Switch! Contemporary, hopefully realistic golf game! Day one for me. Hopefully more sports games to follow.
Re: Upcoming Tactical RPG Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery Gets An Intriguing New Trailer
Love the eccentric title and story protagonists.
Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite Nintendo Switch Online NES Games
0. I've probably spent less than 1 hour with all of them combined.
Re: Nintendo Switch Cooling Fans Are Now A Thing, And Pre-Orders Have Just Opened
I'm having to replace the internal fan on my Switch. Fan makes loud humming noises when switched on, sometimes for several minutes.

Re: Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics Pays Tribute To Golf On The NES
This is one of my must-have titles for this year.
Re: EA Set To Launch "Multiple" Titles On Nintendo Switch In 2020
I'd be happy for Madden. I preferred the old sprite based Madden's on the Megadrive.
Re: Your Favourite Mario Characters Will Appear In Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics
I'm getting this for the volume and variety on offer.
Re: 33 Years Later, Japanese Famicom RPG Hoshi wo Miru Hito Is Being Rereleased On Switch
Neolithic pebble stone games would probably have more depth, and be kinder on the ears.

Skyrim. At night finding a quiet, scenic spot and then stargazing.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 25th)
I've restarted Skyrim as a thief. Missed the boat on Animal Crossing and I see there is a fair few posts about that game.
Re: Random: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Is "Dumb" And "For Children" Says Business Insider Column
Sorry! I forgot, it's a click-bait article to rile people and get readership up.
Re: Random: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Is "Dumb" And "For Children" Says Business Insider Column
Why is NL promoting a mercenary troll? Sad journalism.

I'm putting off AC and focussing on BOTW. I recently restarted it and plan on actually finishing it.
Re: Story Of Seasons: Friends Of Mineral Town Launches This July In The West
Stardew over this? HARD PASS.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 14th)
Been playing Stardew quite a lot. Thinking about getting Cattails maybe.
Re: Westwood's Classic Blade Runner Is Getting An Enhanced Edition On Switch

Terraria, tricky but good.

Re: Truck Driver Sets Course For Switch With Brand New Features
Will wait for YT footage. Can't trust anything now days. The best truck sim by far is Spintyres.

One for the kids. Tried it, uninstalled after 42 minutes.
