Yet another week has flown by, and it's finally time for the weekend (with an added bank holiday in the UK - hooray!). This week we had the drama of an indie game being removed from the eShop for being a bit naughty, and a whole lot more drama with that Sonic trailer, but now it's time to chat about what we'll be playing over the next couple of days.
Members of team Nintendo Life have done just that below, and we'd love for you to join in via our comments and poll sections below. Enjoy!

This weekend I'm going to be returning to one of my favourite open-worlds of the previous generation - Steelport from Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package. While it doesn't quite possess the pedigree of GTA, I loved how unashamedly wacky this third instalment was. And now it's on Switch! Look out for my full review next week on Nintendo Life. I'll also be indulging in some illegal avarice in Thief Simulator and blasting away Nazis from afar in Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. You know, as you do...

This weekend I'm visiting family, so my current nostalgic playthrough of Banjo-Kazooie on my beloved N64 is being put on hold. Instead, I've brought the Switch along for the ride with Super Mario Party, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to see us through.
I don't think we've ever seen a console this well suited to family fun. Sure, the Wii was essentially marketed as the 'Nintendo Video Gaming Fun For Everyone Including Your Grandma And Your Cat' machine, but the quality of Switch's games and its portability - even when taking the dock - put it ahead of that in my opinion. I secretly hope we play Mario Kart, because no one beats me at Mario Kart!
Gavin Lane, staff writer
While waiting impatiently for more news on how Streets of Rage 4 is coming along, I nabbed the Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle on sale this week, so I intend to sit down and work my way through multiple Andre the Giants (sorry, Andore the Giants) in Final Fight, plus another game or two in the collection. The unlimited credits in these arcade ports on Switch can turn even tough games into relaxing Sunday afternoon blasts that go down very well with a nice frosty beverage – and that’s what I’m looking for this weekend. Have a good one everybody!

I'll be taking a bittersweet return to Atlas thanks to the all-new Crimson Moon DLC out earlier this week, with the bitter part being that there will be no more toys manufactured for Starlink: Battle for Atlas. A real shame since the game remains such an incredible experience and thanks to all the newly added content more so than ever. When not turning Legion into scrap metal I shall do my part to remove Twintelle from the ARMS Party Crash Bash and do my finest to take Brutal Deluxe into the final franchise week at Super Blood Hockey.
My game of the week goes to Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut, an unexpected old PC friend that once again brings its hauntingly beautiful soundtrack and gorgeous Itano circus light shows to the humble Switch, the machine that can do it all!

I’m about 10 hours into Chrono Trigger (DS) so far and it’s wonderful. I can’t believe in 30 years of gaming I’ve been nervous to try classic turn based rpgs. I will be busy for a while now exploring the genre - feasibly for the next 30 years given the length of these games!
I've just started Odyssey again. I'm resting my wallet! The next few months looks pretty expensive - Mario Maker, Fire Emblem, Marvel Alliance, Astral Chain...
I gotta work this weekend, but I’ll definitely make time for Smash Bros Ultimate and Capcom Beat em Bundle for Switch. Might throw in Cuphead into the mix. Ace Attorney Trilogy on PS4.
I've currently restarted Pokemon Ultra Sun. When it first came out I didnt really have much interest in playing it, but I'm enjoying it a lot so far! When I go to work I usually play Mario kart with my coworkers so that too come tomorrow night. 3rd shifter here. Lol
This weekend is 3DS games time! 🤓
![Untitled](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0151/1123/products/3DS_Yokai_WhiteDofSquad_copy.png?v=1532333022)
I played this games:
1. Yokai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad
First time playing Yokai Watch games. Still in first mission.
And i also play this game.... 😳
![Untitled](https://i.ibb.co/PNkYPn3/IMG-20190504-003209.jpg)
2. Metroid Prime: Federation Force
Um... My first time playing 1st person shooter games for kids / teen by Nintendo. I have discussed first with gcunit before i consider this game. Recently, i still stuck in first Boss Ice Titan. It was pretty hard for me as first time playing game like that. 😖
Finished monster boy and the cursed kingdom. Great game. Maybe I'll go back and collect armor and weapon pieces. Then I'll go over to katana zero. Wonder if I should get steamworld quest or shakedown hawaii after that. Feel like I must have some games on my switch always. Such an awesome machine. Maybe my favourite.
I pre-ordered Mortal Kombat 11 so I won't be playing that until next weekend. In the mean time I'm playing Street Fighter II Ultra like made. I love that game. I'll probably get some more Smash Bros in too.
I was surprised to see Capcom Beat 'em Up Bundle listed. I've been playing that on and off for a couple of months now and will again this weekend as I'm very into beat 'em ups at the moment. Why is it listed though? Have I missed something?
i'm playing this
![Untitled](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D5ti6hWWwAEK8dr?format=jpg&name=4096x4096)
it's one of the rarest games out there, a movie licence game made by EA that's GOOD
i am also continuing my game on Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy
I just beat Rain World and wow what a beautiful and brutal game that was. I couldn’t put it down even after dying some cheap and frustrating deaths. You are really just fighting against the forces of the game itself to victory, rather than any of the specific creatures or platforms that stand in your way. We don’t need more games like this, but at least one felt necessary and essential especially in the overly crowded exploration/metroidvania genre.
I've just downloaded hyper sentinel for 90pence which is totally ridiculous. I instantly recognised it as uridium from my spectrum days and it's superb. Also picked up gun man Clive hd and will continue to grapple with trying to master enter the gungeons twin stick boss hell
I’m on holiday at the moment. I’ve not had a lot of gaming time but I have re-started steam world dig 2 with a new save. I got 5 hours in before and got bored but I’m enjoying it more this time round
Ideally, Final Fantasy XII. Realistically, something else on Switch (including some usual suspects) before getting paid (and on days when the weekends/holidays oblige the bank to transact the money in advance, it can be effing anytime - last time was past 7 PM), then something on other platforms (including the primary usual suspect on 3DS with X in the title and characters really feeling it), while the Switch is getting a 12 Gb mobile dripfeed.
WORTH IT.
darksiders! just battled Tiamit. man this game is awesome
Masquerada: Songs and Shadows, because I'm up for a review (italian language).
I like it so far, just not breathtaking
I'm hooked on Dragon's Dogma. The pawn system is really interesting, though no one wants to hire mine 😭
@BigE Oh Enter the Gungeon, what a game. I've played it for more than 150 hours, and counting!
Going to start LA Noire. Not my usual cup of tea but it was a birthday present so will give it a fair go.
@SuperCharlie78 150hrs is a good effort! I'm nowhere near that on ETG but I'm gonna stick with it
This weekend i wont have much time so I try to squeze in some.
Cuphead, Capcom beat um up bundle, and my time at portia
1. Darksiders Switch - best version of the game (I played it 5-6 times on PS4 and PC).
2. Assassin's Creed Odyssey!
Started on FF XII -the zodiac age, but have not touched Darksiders, Dragon’s Dogma and Fate Extrella yet, not to mention the Starlink DLC. Too much to play, not enough time.
My Time at Portia and possibly a little FFX&X-2. I’ve put almost 50 hours into Portia in 2 weeks, fair to say I’m enjoying it.
Might try playing Smash Ultimate for the first time this weekend and maybe some Mario Kart and Spyro 2.
I’m in the mood for some fun platforming action, so it’ll be Rayman, DKC: Tropical Freeze, The Messenger, and perhaps some cassette hunting in Celeste.
Probably also Starlink, not gonna lie.
Enjoy the weekend everybody!
Pikmins

I've been playing through Zelda: BotW again, and started Dragon's Dogma on Switch. Still need to play Final Fantasy VII, IX, x and X-2 as well as XII for switch. All big games so it will take me a while
Started playing Skies of Arcadia again. There's something about this game that's very relaxing. Also picked up the Onimusha remaster which is still very enjoyable. Fingers crossed for remasters of the sequels!
@Desa
That’s what I’ve been doing too. Went to ebGames to get Zeraora code today and they don’t have em in yet. Makes me nervous.
Rocket League, and I told myself I had to finish Yoshi before moving on to Steamworld Quest.
But I still sneak in BoxBoyGirl, Horizon Chase and Unraveled 2.
This week I will be mostly playing
Super Mario Bros DX (challenge mode)
Breath of the Wild (681 seeds to go)
I want to play Onimusha on Switch, but don't have it yet... I'll be playing Arms, Smash Bros, Tengai, Momodora, Sky Force Reloaded, Skies of Fury DX, Duck Game, Old School Racer 2 (I love 60 fps games like this — wish someone would release Hill Climb Racing 1 and 2 on Switch with no ads and no micro transactions/DLC stuff), Virtua Racing, Cuphead (I love this game more than ever on Switch), Sky Rogue, and Unravel 2! I can't wait for Mario Maker 2!
Final fantasy stormblood
I've been exploring the free dlc for Mudrunners which has been interesting. Otherwise it's Super Smash, Minecraft, Civ6 and I'm looking to trade in my Vrally 4 for something decent. Vrally proved too twitchy in the end.
@ShaiHulud i love Skies of Arcadia, i just finished a play through of it (again)
that game SO deserves a sequel
Visiting the European championship of Smash this weekend, so I will pick Smash up again consequently
@FullbringIchigo Even a remaster would make me very happy. It's my favourite jrpg but I'd very much welcome snappier loading times and wireless controllers
Venture Kid, Yoshi and Onimusha. Will be a very calm weekend with strong rain and wind outside.
Super Metroid
Shadows of Adam
Arcade Classics Collection
Giana Sisters
Revenge of Shinobi
Phantasy Star
Many many short bursts!
@ShaiHulud Well i have a Wavebird for my GameCube so i can play it with a wireless controller
and to be honest the load times aint to bad but yeah i remaster would be great but apparently SEGA lost the source code so there is very little chance of that
I will be finishing up with Yoshi's Crafted World. It's a much better game then I was expecting after playing the demo.
Then it's on to Dragons Dogma and FF XII.
Dragon Quest Builders for me. This is addictive stuff.
So many Final Fantasies...
Doing FFX right now along with Wargroove custom campaign and Steamworld Quest.
People saying Switch is running thin 2019 again... those people are missing out on some of the best games made.
Dragons Dogma
Mechstermination Force and Cuphead.
Can’t stop playing Dragons Dogma.
@BigE Hyper Sentinel is good fun. I play it in 5-minute bursts, having also picked it up for under a dollar. Game well done for what it is.
@sketchturner I’m finding Mechstermination Force extremely difficult even right at the beginning. What’s your experience been?
@1UP_MARIO hopefully it won't be long before all that pikmin goodness is packaged up into one tiny switch cartridge.
It's a busy weekend starting with my annual comic shop run for Free Comic Book Day. Then I'm going to try to launch a barebones Patreon for my channel and art before the plan changes take effect on Tuesday. In between all that, I'm going to try to shave some fractions of seconds off my SEGA AGES Virtua Racing times.
@nofriendo I still have uridium which this is based on in my loft for the zx spectrum on cassette. Yes, I'm old
@nofriendo Yeah it is certainly challenging but I love it. I think it's hardest when you first start because you haven't unlocked any upgrades or weapons beyond the pea shooter; but you do gradually become more powerful, which feels great.
Mostly VA-11 HALL-A and a bit of Game Dev Story.
This week-end I'm playing ff12 and my time at portia
Finally got to the end of FFVII. Hoping to wrap up Mother 3 within the week and revisit Starlink after the update.
Super Mario Land, Picross S3, Piczle Colors, Steamworld Quest, Sega Ages Virtua Racer.
Probably a few matches of Smash Ultimate with a friend, but I'd like to get back into Torna: The Golden Country, and I'm sure I'll spend at least some time with Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (I'm approaching 80 hours spent with that game so far).
MK 11 and Ace Attorney. OBJECTION!
I 100 percented Majora's Mask again in order to check if my Wii was still fully functional after years in storage.
I still have a lot of love for the old graphics, but oh boy, the original framerate hit me hard after getting used to the remake.
@Sulleymonster that and gimme 4
Well I finally finished cuphead last night and phew that was a doozy. Think I'm going to finish off Celeste now and maybe open yoshi finally. I need something to calm the nerves after cuphead
FF X HD for me. 10 hours in, so long way to go yet.
This weekend it is all about Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Super Smash Bros Ultimate for me! Having a great time with those two games.
Still addicted to Civ 6 which will take more of my time than it should!
Black flag on wiiu 😁 also started ac unity on pc cos it was free both really good
Bubble Guriko (Windows Phone) - Still a blast!
It's Spring Again (Vita) - Playing with the kids
Resistance: Burning Skies (Vita) - While it isn't bad, it isn't great either.
Hyrule Warriors, BotW VR, maybe Strike Suit Zero, and Starlink
Still playing Splatoon 2, SSBU, and USUM
I just bought West of Loathing, so I'll be dedicating a decent amount of time to that. Otherwise, it'll probably just be more Smash, Animal Crossing, WarioWare, Captain Toad, and Baba is You.
I’ve put the extra levels to rest in Yoshi ( dang they are much harder!) for the time being so I could play Iconoclast. I’m having a blast with it so far and am about halfway through. It reminds me of Owlboy for some reason but the puzzles and platforming are more challenging imo.
@PikaPhantom I love West of Loathing! Such a hilarious and surprising fun game to play. Definitely a good value.
So I finished FF X last weekend and it landed directly in the first place of final fantasy games. It is a absolute masterpiece of a game. Then I tried X-2 and oh boy that is bad... Gave up after a couple of hours as the gameplay was even worst than the dull dialogues and story (watched the different endings on YouTube and will never touch it again).
After been very salty when I realized there is no physical copy of dragon's dogma in Europe I finally got FF XII and that's what I will be playing this weekend, I am about 15h in and is ok so far. I definitely prefer turn base combat and a grander story but am enjoying the bigger areas to explore and the hunting
@JoeDiddley as my favourite type of games I really hope you'll enjoy it (never played chrono actually but is on my to do list and hoping for a switch port sometime)
It's a huge, dark, rainy mess where I live so I think when I get home from having my car serviced I'm gonna hunker down with my favorite game of all time: Super Metroid. It's dark atmosphere is quite suited to a day like today. Might also see about finishing up my first run through of Ace Combat 5 on PS4.
@John_Deacon +1 ♥️ for Super Metroid.
Need to make up for lost time on Final Fantasy XIV, but I've also started Crystalis for the first time, so I'll be putting some progress into that as well.
Mortal Kombat 11. Not sure where all the talk of micro transactions comes from as I’ve been playing since release day and not felt the need to buy anything??
I bought an 8bitdo wireless adaptor for the gamecube controller a couple of days ago. I played a bit of smash bros when it came out, but never really got into it as normally play handheld so my wife and kid can use the TV. Buying that has added so much to my enjoyment of smash bros, really feel like I am improving now and get what all the fuss is about. Better late than never. So mostly that this weekend, with a few games of duck game on Sunday with a mate! Happy weekend everyone
@FullbringIchigo I have the GameCube version (my copy of the Xbox version is at my sister’s house). I recently restarted and just reached the Moria campsite.
Continuing Dragon quest builders and Radiant Historia playthroughs.
Probably try to work on my non existent super smash brothers skills with Yoshi a bit in head to head battles . Just started playing it and am terrible but what a great game !
My friend who moved out of state visited me yesterday and surprised me with the Super Smash Bros. Fighters Pass while we were in GameStop, so I'm going to play Joker's Classic Mode this weekend. Also, going to try to start story mode in SNK Heroines.
Im hopelessly addicted to a.i. battles and sending my a.i. up the towers in MK11. When not relaxing and cheering on my team, Ill dig more into Dragons Dogma, and probably some Box Boy. Looking forward to heading back to Steelport this next week as well. Its 2013 again!!!
Horizon Chase Turbo
Outrun
Alex Kidd
Gain Ground
Konami Anniversary
Atari Flashback Space Duel & Millipede
Night Trap Anniversary
Probably only Dragon: Marked for Death and maybe I will begin with Megaman Battle Network 5 since I've played through 1-4 the last couple of weeks
@Vicki_S they might have ripped off FFX's battle system but it's still a great game and i imagine the GameCube version is smoother than the PS2 and XBOX versions, they normally were
SSBU, XC2, Slime San, Mega Man Legacy Collection and some Gears 4.
@JoeDiddley I've always been curious to know to Chrono Trigger holds up for new players. Are the classic games I think are the best ever still the best ever to modern players or do they ride on the inertia of nostalgia?
Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed (360) on XB1 via backwards compatibility, the online's surprisingly active for a 360 game. It's sadly a reminder though of how hard/expensive it is to get a lot of SEGA's retro games that aren't Mega Drive era nowadays.
Probably also playing some other games on XB1 like MCC and Halo 5.
Probably gonna find something Star Wars related to play for May the 4th.
I wasn't paying enough attention to when Season 16 in Diablo was ending, so I'm powering through that before the 12th!
I'm very close to finishing Cuphead, so I'll probably get to that this weekend. Gonna put more progress into Yoshi's Crafted World as well
@Purgatorium although I grew up with NES and SNES games I thought I might find Chrono Trigger a bit clunky without modern QOL improvements.
But the battle system is so great that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Let alone the soundtrack (I’ve downloaded), story and pacing. It’s fresh as a daisy.
I have a somewhat lax weekend (which I'll be paying for next weekend), so that means some gaming! I'll finally start catching and training 'Mon in Pokemon Ultra Sun after soft-starting the game ages ago to obtain that special Rockruff (and subsequent legendary distributions) since.
Otherwise, I'm still playing through any game that isn't a RPG on my SNES Classic; I'll get to the RPGs some other time. I just started Super Castlevania IV for the first time ever and find it quite enjoyable. I've still been juggling Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World on it when I need a familiar, nostalgic break.
Finally, as the weather isn't supposed to be complete garbage tomorrow, I'll likely get out and play a little Pokemon Go.
Have a fun weekend folks!
@Purgatorium I didn't play Chrono Trigger until my early 20s, and it remains the best written RPG I've ever played. Some ride on nostalgia; Chrono Trigger is great in any era slaps knee
I'm playing ARMS.
There's a Crash Party right now.
#TeamTwintelle
Various Sega Genesis Collection titles (Columns, Columns III, Sonic 1, Sonic Spinball), World of Goo (Switch version), Worms WMD, Xeodrifter, and Golf Story.
@Grumblevolcano I have Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on Wii U and PC (via Steam). When I played it on Wii U back in 2013 though, there wasn't too many people online. I'll try out the online on the PC version sometime, there should still be plenty of people there.
@Purgatorium, @JoeDiddley I played through Chrono Trigger (DS) for the first time just over a year ago. The battle system and story hold up pretty well in my book. Heck, even that rigged trial was memorable.
I need to go back sometime and try for more of the different endings.
Star Wars Battlefront 2! May the 4th be with you!
@MarioLover92 Mario Kart 8 pretty much killed off online activity for the Wii U version of Transformed. Along similar reasoning, MK8 Deluxe and NSO makes me wonder if I'd be better off getting the XB1 versions of Team Sonic Racing and Crash Team Racing over Switch.
I am actually playing Persona 5 on my PS3. After they announced Persona 5 Scramble, I pretty much lost all hope for a Switch port, so I decided to cave in and buy it for PS3.
Playing:
BoxBoy + BoxGirl
Miitopia
Star Wars Battlefront (2004)
Sonic Mania
Sonic Generations
Smash Bros Ultimate
Likely:
Persona 3 Portable
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
@FullbringIchigo Yeah, I think it’s smoother, but it’s been about 10 years since I played the Xbox version and I just got the GC version recently. My first Xbox died about 10 years ago, so I brought all my games to my sister’s house to see if they worked on the 360; I think this was the only one that did. Now I have a replacement Xbox, but I only have the two games I insisted on getting (I plan to get my old games back).
The Switch needs a Star Wars game.
Have to work this weekend... So just having my BDO Character Auto fish on my 2nd Monitor is all the "gaming" I'll be doing 🙃
Smash Bros. every day every year all of the time for the rest of time.
@razorxkenshin I got Persona 5 for PS3 too. Although all the talk of a potential Switch port made me take a break to see what was happening, and now I need to get back to it
Final Fantasy X this weekend and the next weekend and the next after next....
I've been playing Trails of Cold Steel II almost exclusively for the last several weeks. Before that, I was playing its predecessor, the first Trails of Cold Steel, again, almost exclusively. Nihon Falcom games can be so captivating. How there aren't more of them on the Switch is a mystery to me.
@FullbringIchigo. I didn't know they lost the source code, what a shame.. I'm playing the Dreamcast version so no wavebird for me unfortunately! Sound is supposed to be a bit better though, although the Dreamcast itself is a bit noisier than a Gamecube.
@Vicki_S yeah mine died as well but i'm looking for another one
dragons dogma dark arisen and mortal kombat 11.
@ShaiHulud yeah the Dreamcast can make a bit of noise, not as much as the UK 60gb PS3 though, that sounded like a Jet Engine going off
i think they made some other tweaks to the GameCube version too and it's creator says it's the "Definitive" version
but which ever version you play it's bloody awesome, one of my top 5 JRPG's of all time
I've been playing a lot of Smash, Dead Cells, and Into the Breach lately. While all fantastic games, I've been craving a good narrative, so I downloaded VA-11 Hall-a last night and I'm really liking it. It has some great writing and fascinating characters.
I’ve nearly completed stardew valley on my PS4 but when I found out it was out on switch as well I couldn’t help myself and had to get it. It’s great replaying it from the start because I don’t waste a single day since I know exactly what I need to be doing
I’m off abroad this weekend so I’ll finally finish Dragon Quest VII. I’ve logged over 90 hours on my 3DS with this game over two and a bit years 🤓
I will definitely be getting into some Starlink. I picked it up again when the new content came out and I've really been enjoying it.
Finished Sekiro finally, so now I can play Cuphead on Switch. I also got Zelda working on my PSVR, so I wanna play more of that for sure
Probably not much this weekend, but at the moment I'm playing botw dlc and a few random quests etc that i didn't get round to when i played it last year.
Might try and get in a bit of tetris 99 and enter the gungeon if i can
@NotTelevision is there any bosses in this? Do any enemies drop loot?
Finished Cuphead on switch (chose bad ending) loved the game. Looking for something to play now
It'll be the following for me:
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA — This is getting the most love, being an Action RPG and all with my limited time, so I gotta put in work so I don't lose focus. Let's go, Adol!
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes — Trying to wait for my friend before I proceed too far, but I may knock out another stage, then just go back and redo them when they're finally ready.
Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax — Just bought it on sale ($4.99 in NA y'all!) and I'll kick it off, but this will be another game I will try to run in a co-op fashion. Looking forward to the tongue in cheek, self aware humor among some adjustable shmup action.
The Way — I'm playing this hard right now as I picked this up in a hard sale months ago (it's super cheap on sale now for those in NA) and am finally getting to it after finishing both Out of This World and Flashback at last. Strong themes between this and the aforementioned, but other than that, this game is a lot better and engaging than I thought and I'm struggling to put it down-- A nice surprise.
Final fantasy 12
My son is still absolutely loving Smash Bros. Ultimate and I’m having just as much fun watching him play. There have been actual tears of frustration and genuine screams and tears of delight as he makes progress in World of Light. It’s my birthday and I’ve been working, but I’ve had a match or three of Tetris 99 and hoping to play some more Wolfenstein 2. Enjoy the rest of your weekend all.
Smash, back into Splatoon 2, and putting the finishing touches onnthr brilliant Katana ZERO. Might play some co-op Cuphead too.
Usual. Rocket League, BotW, Isaac... And now a bit of Ditto!
@nhSnork My copy of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age arrived yesterday, and I'm incredibly excited to play it. FFXII was already a candidate for my favorite of the series, and Zodiac ages improves on it so much. And it's portable, so now I have no excuse not to finish every quest and hunt every mark!
@JoeDiddley Final Fantasy X is a great entry point into that series, and it's on Switch. Although, if you still have Persona 5 to play, it might be a while before you need to worry about FFX.
@Mgene15 The game is fundamentally about fending for yourself as means only to survive and get to the next area. You are just a small creature in a vast ecosystem, which means some larger creatures want to eat you. You figure out interactions between the many creatures that may or may not be useful in your journey. There are no bosses, power ups, or loot.
To the lad playing pikmin, you gave me an idea. I wish they would port 3 to the switch as I sold it with my Wii U it was excellent to. I’ve been off and on gungeon for sometime on my Xbox but I just cannot beat the final boss.
Finished Crossing Souls yesterday and really enjoyed it! I finally started up starlink battle for atlas last night after seeing its icon on my switch for what seems like forever. I am really liking it so far and could see me 100%ing it over the next few weeks.
This May 4th I've been watching the Star Wars OT and playing a few games of Battlefront 2 as Chewie. RIP Peter Mayhew.
Aside from that I'm playing Reigns: Game of Thrones on the Switch, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, Vampyre and a bunch of other Gamepass games on the Xbox One X.
Awww... very little love for Twintelle, apparently.
@Dr_Corndog I’m tempted to import the Asian version of Final Fantasy X, to get both games on the disc.
But I’ll wait a little while and choose slooooow cheap shipping as I’ve built up a backlog of 3DS and Switch RPGs and SRPGs. Being new to the genre I’m excited to pick them up, but they’re longer games to get through so I’m now sitting on 17 games in my backlog untouched when it’s usually just one or two.
It’s a nice problem to have!
I’ve found a little bonkers racing game called X treme racing which is an almost 80’s style arcade mash up. Cheap, basic but actually great fun.
I played a bunch of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and StarLink: Battle of Atlus.
@FullbringIchigo Never had a ps3 60gb myself, but the original 360 was quite the noisemaker too. One of the things I appreciate about the Switch is that it's as quiet as can be.
It is a classic and rightly so. There's something about the good natured plot that's still refreshing with so many melodramatic ott nonsense you get in a lot of jrpgs. The sense of adventure is great as well, and certainly unrivalled until Xenoblade came along.
Some Games were easy but Xenoblade is a pain for me..
