@MaSSiVeRiCaN Yup, agreed. I don't trust the scores on here. Game deffinately is on my radar, though looks like May will a bountiful month of interesting releases.

The review score seems to mimic the lack of direction of the game protagonist, a masterpiece of video journalism if it's a sign of homage - however I think not.
The game clearly sounds interesting.

@Eric629 Good to hear! Unfortunately, I don't play it as often as I should. I think most I ever got to was 4th or 5th level. But, as said don't ever remember encountering anything bad.

@Eric629 No, I've not experienced any of that. I downloaded the game from the eShop, reason being I had it years ago on the PSP. It plays very smoothly and to be honest it has some of the best joycon feedback. It's like you can feel every note of the music in your hands.

@TME Huh??? Lumines runs brilliantly on the Switch. The Joycon feedback from the music has to be felt to be believed.

New hobby - building stages!

If it plays good, that's what matters. One of the things I find curious about comments on here is when a non-frostbite 3d game appears - it looks bad, terrible etc... Neolithic era heavily pixellated 2d platformer appears - everybody raves about it.

Most likely day one. I'm hoping this is "the one" that will prove you can race on the Switch without worrying about turtle shells or be constrained to karts.

I was keen and excited (BIG Stardew fan), but I'm a bit weary now after reading the reviews on Metacritic. Might wait for a price drop or more reviews. I specifically looked at non-Switch reviews to get a feel of what the game offers. Too many dodgey marketing stuff going on in the industry and £25 is a fair amount to lose when there are big sales going on at the eShop.

Couldn't care less about retail, I buy most of my stuff from the Nintendo eShop. I do care about this hybrid console getting half decent race games. Bonus it's not 8-bit.

I took a leap of faith and bought V Rally (physical), yesterday. Twitchy yes, but otherwise brilliant racer for the Switch. Detailed car settings and race replay was what sold me.

Rabbids is a great game. Love the graphics. I got stuck after defeating the fridge boss as no path opened afterwards. One day I'll figure it out...

Had some of the tables on Android, worth double dipping.

@Itzdmo Yeah, I always found 2D Mario more charming. The N64 version was good though. Odesey I sold. Having MK8, I thought a lot of the graphics and design sub par.

Deffinately interested in this. I much prefer the classic side scrolling Mario over the 3D ones.

I'm devoting time to Smash Bros. Loving the depth of content. The fight stats and replay are brilliant in analysing weaknesses. Also loving the audio section. This and MK8 are my favourite flagship games. Other than that, Civ6 and trying to see my Spartan civilization through to the end.

Sad to hear about the load times. I had high hopes for a 3d type Stardew experience.

Like others have said, this needs to stand out from MK8. Graphically it does look good.

@nofriendo BOTW is a critically acclaimed masterpiece winning numerous awards, sitting at no1 on Metacritic, has been camping at the top of the eShop charts... a terrible excuse of a Zelda game? Has there been a better acclaimed Zelda game?

I've got 14 of the 50. Not a bad list. Shame Skyrim isn't on there.

I've seen indie games with graphics & design far more ancient than this. This looks quite good.

@Aneira Have you played any Stardew, Harvest Moon? The graphics for Portia look standard, better than average (3d as opposed to sprite). What type of graphics were you expecting!?!

This is one of the reasons why I love my Switch. Revisit childhood classics.
