i don't even find 7-star raids enjoyable, kinda gave up on this game's events and now i'm just waiting for the dlc

the beginning of the game is such a slog and so slow that it takes three hours??? it gets worse every game

it really does have a game for every type of player

these patch notes are frikkin' amazing and its clear they're listening to fans

you can earn old catalog items in the shell-out machine

why are nintendo games always so dumb about their soundtracks (yes, pokemon is partly nintendo)

this certainly is a nintendo game

@Dev9417 people will obviously know, but the point is that it denies them from going to that area because the balloons could explode any second and any stray shots towards them could cause that as well

ok, i understood the last few raid events (even if i hate that gamefreak is favoring the most overrated pokemon) but these are pokemon that you can just get in the game normally- the last few were unable to normally be encountered in raids. like, sure, they have perfect stats, but you can do that with any pokemon now

only in a game like pokémon violet can a fish somehow crash the game that easily

@UmbreonsPapa yeah i was about to say that they managed 700+ on a 3DS, plus its not like pokemon are hard to code in for a multi-billion dollar company
as a massive pokémon nerd, i have a huge passion for the series and i wish i could see every pokémon in one game and catch them all WITHOUT an unstable subscription service (yes, even volbeat and the rest of the forgettable ones)

@Octane i mean i'm fine with them not all being technically catchable or having a national pokédex, but i feel like they should all be transferable into the game at least

1,000+ pokemon; but still not all catchable in one game

@BenAV the reason most people dislike wahoo world is because one of the two entrances to mid is on-and-off every 30 seconds
its annoying for ranked modes and such

my main problem with the fact that you don't technically choose a gender in this game is that even if youre non-binary and choose an appearance that you think looks the most like you, the game will still just use either she/her or he/him pronouns depending on how masculine or feminine you look, defeating the entire purpose of genderless options (also i'm 90% sure that you cant change your "gender" after picking it at the beginning of the game just like past installments did, so that sucks)
i appreciate how in splatoon 3 the game will go out of its way to use gender-neutral pronouns and terms for the player, c'mon gamefreak it's 2022, representation and inclusivity matters

@Coalescence probably hacked pokemon youre receiving in trades, it happened to me a lot in wonder trades in the same game too

this game has so much potential with its gameplay and world-building, it deserves a more fleshed-out sequel

i never understood these; they just give strong pokemon away for free with no apparent reason
i wish it was like older games when they hosted events where you could actually visit new areas to get the pokemom
