So today I'm downloading minishoot adventure, blue prince and the demos of denshattack and outbound. What a great direct, so many games I wanna play. I'm glad indies finally have switch 2 dev kits.

Hoping for blue prince and clair obscur expedition 33, but any indies would be great.

I'll stick with my physical switch 1 version. I already finished ys x on switch and I did everything in it. If it was an update I would have tried it but 70€ for a dlc and I don't wanna start over. Plus it's a game key card so no physical version but the game is only 9gb, less than 3gb more than the switch version. Falcom going the atlus way isn't a good idea.

Angry bird is not the ip it used to be, the free to play design doesn't help. And sega would sell more games if they release real physical version for switch 2, I would had bought the yakuza games, persona 3, raidou, two point museum... if they didn't release them as gkc. The only real physical is sonic crossworld and it's releasing month after release, I already have the physical switch 1 version + update. Just look at the japanese chart not a lot of gkc appears in them since release.

The volume 1 was already an early gkc, none of the metal gear solid games were on the cart. Konami really sucks at physical media so I'm not surprise. And the switch 2 is the worst with the physical media when the switch 1 was the best. Nintendo really dropped the ball with the switch 2.

I'll be interested when they decide to put the metal gear solid game in the cartridge of the physical switch version of the metal gear solid collection volume 1. I was so really happy when they announced it only to make the physical a early game key card. I never bought it not even on the eshop.

The demo was good except the gyro aiming is on the left joy con and no opton to change it to the right so it's useless. But it's a game key card so I won't buy it "physical" and wait for a big discount on the eshop someday.

Not buying the game because it's a gkc, I rather buy it for my ps4 than buy it on a gkc. But I rather play rpg on the go, so may be when it's 10€ and I have enough storage space I might buy it... In may I'll be supporting true physical media by buying Indiana jones on switch 2 instead.

I like the direct, but the fact that they don't say if the games are a key card makes the direct useless, just release trailer on youtube with the information if it's a stupid key card or a real physical version. as of right now I'm buying indiana jones because it finally has a real physical version, time stranger on switch 1 for my son and the switch 2 upgrade for me, tsubasa 2, kyoto xanadu on switch 1 because falcom will surely make a game key card with no upgrade for the switch 2. Orbitals, culdcept I liked the 3ds version but didn't played it enough and I wanna give culdcept another go and it's a real physical version. Last but not least may be rebirth on the eshop because it's 48€ but I need to finish some game to make some room in my sd express and I really hated what they did with FF remake when I finished it on ps4 but I'll play it to get my own opinion.

@Samalik the switch 2 edition is a switch 2 cartridge wit the the switch game and the switch 2 update on the card so you're right ditch the gkc and make switch 2 edition or real switch 2 cartridge

The game that have real physical version, outbound, chromagun 2, bubsy 4d. Dragon quest 7 next week but the switch 1 version.for the first party, we'll see what nintendo is gonna announce but right now I'm waiting for splatoon raiders. For the other publishers it's a wait and see if it's a game key card or not before looking if I'm interested by them. And I'm playing my backlog, I just started trails into reverie, finished another timeline in the hundred line, and I'm playing Hogwarts legacy.

@Joe11 prepare yourself to be disappointed or may be you'll like the flying mops. I hope you'll enjoy what nomura did to ff7 with this "remake"

@OmnitronVariant i finished it on ps4 too and really hated what they did,the pacing was horrible (5h to 40h), combat was repetitive. Everything about destiny was boring. And they ruin the shinra building part, the donjon was too long and I just wanted the game to end, but nomura did and put a lot of stupid things to make the game longer.
If I want to play ff7 I rather play the original on switch even if the remake was nice to look at.

Little nightmare 3 and sparking zero switch 2 were in the charts one week too but I didn't look for all the charts but in the one I saw I didn't see any switch 2 capcom games but will see soon with RE requiem and pragmata if they charts.

I'm glad no game key card made it to the best selling of the year in japan.

Great port but another game key card and I'm not buying any so pass. And I'm still playing my real physical copy of hyrule warriors so I'm good.

If only they release real physical version on switch 2 may be with the new cart sizes falcom will ditch the game key cards, staying with switch 1 version until then.

I need to start reverie, and than all the daybreaks. Buying the switch 1 physical version day one to put it in my physical backlog. Falcom really drop the ball by delaying all the release for a switch 2 game key card version.

@Old-Red just to be clear the switch 2 editions aren't switch 1 games with code nonsense. It's the switch game and the switch 2 upgrade full on a 64gb cart and it doesn't need any internet to play the switch 2 version, it doesn't have a code nonsense I'm wondering what you are refering to ? And I think The switch 2 line up is horrible because of the game key card that ruins it.

The switch 2 launch line up had one big problem that makes it the worst line up, Game Key Card.

Will it come with a sd express card in the game key card case ?

The only complaint I have is why is the version number always on screen, it's really strange and I just can't unsee it.

They need to add all the translations they forgot, and do a upgrade path switch->switch 2.

Octopath Traveler 0 feels like a ‘victory lap’ for the beloved series, And a big slap in the face of the people that don't understand english after two game fully translate, the poor square enix don't have any money left to translate a port of a free mobile game. And let's not talk about the gkc, no update switch 1to switch 2 for people that wants a real physical.

15 gb seems to be the switch 2 upgrade + the 1.2 update.

I was waiting for the physical switch 2 edition but the switch 1 version was 33€ on amazon.fr, I just bought it and when the switch 2 edition will be release the switch 1 version will be for my son

Split fiction 85gb on pc 69gb on switch 2, ac shadows is 115gb on pc 62gb on switch 2, Hogwarts legacy 85gb on pc 24gb on switch 2. I know it's not the same engine... but they could all reduce the size of the games on switch 2.
Square support was great on switch 1, on switch 2 they really drop the ball with the gkc, no upgrade path...
But all that doesn't change the fact that FF remake is a bad remake of a great game.

Cyberpunk is 90gb on ps5, 60gb on switch with a real cartridge. FF remake isn't an open world, it's just a bad remake of the first 5 hours of an excellent game. If you really want to play it, it's really cheap on ps4 or ps5. I finished it on ps4 and it was an horror, they stretched the story so much and added stupid nomura twists it ruin the original story, if you want to play ff7 play the ps1 version it's a gem and if you want there is a lot of mods on pc to make it more modern that are so much better than what square did with remake.

Hades 2, yooka replaylee and now chromagun 2 getting real physical version on switch 2, puts third parties and the pokemon company to shame

@Willo567 I don't buy game key card because I want plug and play and the second reason is because games take too much storage space. did you see the price of sd express it cost a lot and I have a 256gb on my switch 2. Preservation is a bonus. And pokopia is gkc and still 70€...it's a pass for me, if the game was 20€ I woudn't care about it being a gkc but it's not a 20€ digital title like good job or the strechers, it's a 70€ full game.

Ok but the only thing I wanna know is will it have a real physical version ? If it's another GKC I'll pass and if it doesn't take too much place may be when it's 50/80% off I'll consider buying it on the eshop.

It's great that it's on switch 2 but no physical version means I won't buy it on switch 2 right now may be when it's cheap on the eshop and they patch all the framepacing issues and made it 60fps, or may be when they release persona 3 royal reload on a real cartridge with all the dlcs in it.

Great but I have it on disk on my ps4, if it's releasing on switch 2 it will be a game key card and with the high price of sd express I can't afford it may be when 1tb sd express are 50€ someday. But right now key card are just too storage expensive, that one of the reasons I don't buy key card.

@Darthmoogle on gog it's a drm free version you can download the installer and then when you want to instal it you can, even is the store is close you don't need any internet. You own the file you buy. With others digital stores you buy a license to download the game from this store.

I still need to finish kiwami 1, and since 0 and 2 are game key card I won't play kiwami 3. I bought all the yakuza on gog last summer for 25€ I have them drm free why would I rent them on switch, if they did real physical version I would have bought them.

So if the game is installed on the sd express does it runs pourly ?
internal speed is 2100m/s, sd express is 800m/s, digital foundry needs to test this.

I'm not buying the game on a game key, I already have the game on luna, so I don't need another digital version but may be I'll buy it when the eshop version will be heavily discounted. I don't buy digital games full price except for indies.

70€ for the switch 1 version, the only game that was sold at that price was lego horizon even totk wasn't sold at that price in store here in france.
