Should they print more? Absolutely.

Will they? I kind of doubt it. SE hasn’t been the greatest consumer friendly company in ages. From a business sense, they see the upfront costs for a product people can play digitally. Would be interesting to learn about minimum purchase orders and costs, And finding out how many copies would need to be sold again to make it profitable.

This is the safest prediction I’ve ever read. I would be surprised if any of this isn’t true.

I like the new style for 3d Zeldas. However, my dream would be for some 2D entities that were closer to traditional Zelda games…something like Link Between Worlds.

I absolutely love this game! My #2 Zelda (after aLttP) and #6 game of all time!

I…didn’t care for the opening tbh. But maybe I need to look at it more as a tutorial. In that case though, I wish I could skip it.

I’d really like to see Themes and Street Pass return. That said, many of the things on the list I’ve never had trouble with. I’m also unsure of the OLED screen. It sure does make games look nicer, but I’m concerned with the price difference it’ll make. So maybe an option for both?

Finally, internal storage is another issue. Yes, I want it increased. Though, at some point the increase will in price would just make it more affective for me to purchase a micro sd card for the increase.

Man, I hope we get a localized version! This is the only game that I ever imported, but it’s not easy when you can’t read what’s going on haha

Nintendo could I would bet…though the money spent developing it for a niche market wouldn’t make sense for them…especially considering what this will need to cost. That said, I definitely want this

I do think we will eventually get the N64 Classic, and, no, it probably won’t be as good as this. But it’ll have built in games and will be probably a quarter of the price.

I wish A Boy and his Blob Collection contained the Wii game as well (I get why it doesn’t), but I’ll probably still pick it up.

Interesting read. I am curious about the dungeon you are referring to. Personally, I felt like these were the best 3D-Zelda dungeons in the series.

@Yalloo it’s amazing for some games. It’s so nice having map Always displayed without taking up screen space, or for like curing party members without opening a menu. Simple, but effective. Or games that were using the touch screen a ton.

Some companies took really cool creative ideas and put them to use (ZombiU, for example).

However, there were a ton of game that the second screen was more of an afterthought.

It won’t happen…At least not as a Nintendo product. But a 3DS(witch) console would be amazing!

Also not how it works, but it’s cool thinking it would count as sales for both systems!

Pre-Switch people spouted off Nintendoomed comments because the Switch would be comparable to PS3/X360…and here we are with what is now, 130m sales later?

If Switch2 is closer to PS4 in terms of power-that wouldn’t be a problem.

Plus, the power game is losing ground, imho, each generation. The leaps from Gen3 to 4 to 5 to 6, appeared much bigger then Gen 6 to 7 to 8 to 9.

This looks to be okay so far…don’t know about getting it at full price though. I can’t help but think this started off as a Kirby game though

I’m pretty excited for this. Nice way to give us something to play before Switch2. I will end up getting it, though I feel $40 would’ve been a better price for this.

There’s so many great RPGs on this list! Personally, I think Final Fantasy 6 and 8 deserve to be on here more than the other picks from the franchise, but to each their own.

Bought the first one on a whim after its release, and was pleasantly surprised! Hope this gets a western release!

I’m not sold on Wonder’s look…and I’ve really liked what I’ve seen on Sonic. However, Mario will most likely be the better game, and Sonic is most likely to get a price cut at some point.

Baten Kaitos is probably my only game this month, though I am excited for MK1.

Are people still worried about bricking the console with 3rd party docks? I thought that problem has long been solved. I’ve used several over the last…idk 4 years with no problem.

This looks like a cool 3rd party dock-and I love the NA Snes design! I know there’s a debate over which SNES looks the best, but I’ve always loved the purple scheme.

@Kehkou …except, if you’re comparing it to the other consoles, it’s going to be underpowered. The last Nintendo system to really try to go for power was released over 20 years ago.

And the DS, 3DS, Wii, and Switch won their battles that way.

Switch, in general has had some amazing ports…And really their third party output was weakest on the systems where Nintendo tried playing the power game since the late 99s.

@jamesthemagi PS3 didn’t win the generation…but I wouldn’t say lost either since it beat 360. Guess it depends on how you look at it.

Surprised, and delighted to see such strong numbers on Pikmin 4. Hopefully it can keep up the momentum.

The thing with it outselling FF, though, is when you compare attach rates…but either way, it’s amazing to see Pikmin outsell it!

I’ve played more than most have on Virtual Boy (which, I get, means any)…and I can say the games are really underrated. Mario Clash and Red Alert are both awesome as well! Mario Tennis is great fun, even if sequels improved the series. I was really hoping to see VB games on 3ds. Hopefully someday I’ll get to play the VB games I missed out on!

By the time I got interested in trying this, the PS1 version was hard to come by. Now is my chance!

Great news, in my eyes. It was funny hearing Sony grumble since they’ve never been hesitant about buying companies.

Dragon Quest really won me over around the time 9 came out. Was a huge FF fan for the SNES/PS1 eras, but after that, I’d definitely go with DQ. DQ11 is one of my favorite games ever!

Queen Gibdo is maybe my least favorite Zelda game boss. Like seriously, I hated that battle!

Didn’t know where to go after beating TotK. Went on a spending spree, and am set for the next several months with Diablo 4, Final Fantasy XVI, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3! So far I’m loving all 3!

@theModestMouse I disagree. I love turn based battles…I think the more action oriented battle systems are way more boring. Like FF15 and just pressing the same button over and over mindlessly.

@Dm9982 That would be nice. The only way that kind of works would be to set one of the kids as primary, and then disconnect from the internet/turn on airplane mode. Then a second Switch could play it at the same time while connected to the internet.

@UltimateOtaku91 this is a pretty solid guess. I would switch up Chrono Trigger though with FF Tactics. (I would rather have CT though)

As much as the idea intrigues me…I’m so worried they would ruin it. Or, probably more realistically, not make it the way I want it done. The series is evolving constantly, but I much prefer the ‘90s style for these games.

I thought the wind temple boss was quite difficult. Of course, I was underprepared for the battle. Only after helping my son beat the boss did I learn you could also use arrows :/

The Remake for me. It keeps the color dungeon, has some QoL improvements, has the build-a-dungeon, etc…and really only loses the Gameboy Printer stuff of the Dx version.

Okay-wasn’t expecting this, but the price is right, and sounds like it will be a good family game. I’m interested.

I was excited for the first one, but passed due to the review. Hopefully this one is better. I’m swamped right now, so the delay isn’t a biggie.

I recently went through this again-it’s only the 2nd time I played through the game. I loved every minute! The remaster is wonderful…and it makes me want to keep playing through with different party types (still need to play through FF2 and 3 first).

Also, while there isn’t a huge story to get hooked in like in other installments, it was enough to keep me interested. The first time I found out the twist I was really shocked (somehow over the years I never had it spoiled!).
