I’ve really enjoyed this game and don’t really understand the complaints in pricing. However, I wish Sonic CD was replaced by 4. Or Mania. But as a fan of 4, I wish that got more attention.

I guess the point was CD underwhelmed. Cool premise, but how it was executed took away from the gameplay. Probably won’t return to it after a single play through.

Played it with the family on gamepass. Great game we all enjoy!

Personally I hate when controllers get too clicky sounding. It’s one of my gripes about the Xbox controllers. But, if that’s your thing, I guess you’ve got an option now!

@dinosaurfan38 There are other games on the NA service that are Japan only with no translation. They actually have released some Japan-only games since the Wii virtual console. I mean, I don’t really think it’s likely to get them, but I don’t think that would be a reason why.

Actually, it’s less concerning for me-if they say it won’t be as powerful as the ps4 version, I would guess that means it’s not a cloud version. Cloud versions are a pass for me, as much as I’d like to play a game.

Moving the battle system to menu based shows they are at least on the right track. This has the opportunity to be one of the best Final Fantasy games since the ‘90s, for me at least.

I’m excited to play this-though the well-being of the staff and state of the final product are more important.

This is awesome! Some great classics out there, and you almost never get any love for Jaguar or Lynx. This is great news!

I bought this as a kid when it came out, and found it harder than the Squaresoft RPGs I was obsessed with. Sadly, I didn’t get real far, as times were moving ahead-and I was busy playing N64! Around 2006 I went and started a new game on the SNES. I loved it! The first few hours I definitely found to be the hardest, but after getting the 3rd and then 4th party members it really took off! Learning new powers was amazing too!
While this may not be in my top 5 games of all time, it does rank high! I’m glad to be able to play it again on <brag>original system and cart</brag>.

I’m going to get this…been on my list for awhile. The base game is much fun!

I did this in ‘12 at a Beach Boys concert-was like 10 ft from the stage!

It’s a fun game…but the season pass thing is a blunder. I’m not going to gain another 30 levels in time to get Cloud
Hopefully they can turn things around, because like I said, it really is a fun game!

Sounds like fans are expecting games to be fun…and we know how SquareEnix feels about that.

My boys love this game-it’s really been the only PlayStation game they play. Issues aside, I think we will still end up getting this to play on the go.

I’m a fan of their work so far. Would love to see any of these return, but especially the GameCube games!

I’d love to see any of these and would purchase day 1. Also bring Final Fantasy 1-6 while you’re at it.

The one I want the least though would be Persona 3…but even with that one, I’m on board day 1.

It’s a pretty cool/fun game. This was the first game that my kids saw on PlayStation that they were excited for. They love it!

The A button…it’s the only current console with confirm button in the right spot!

Did anyone else notice you can’t purchase Two Loimt Hospital on Switch (NA) right now? Or am I the only one with that problem? I thought I’d check that out while I wait.

I don’t mind the micro transactions for some things, like new characters, or color changes. But the fact that you basically need to micro transact AND grind to get things seems unacceptable…of course, this shouldn’t be a surprise from SE. Remember, they told us we shouldn’t expect their games to be fun.

I like the gameplay…and wish I could just play more single player…though I’m not even half way to unlocking Cloud….

Not really surprising, but I’m still bummed.

And what’s funny, I’m more excited to play these games then the April Xbox gold/ps+ games.

NSO is my favorite of them…cheapest option, and I love the retro games. It’s nice getting the day one releases on Xbox…though my experience most of the games don’t really capture me the way that a classic can.

I understand that I may be in a minority here. And I am hoping to get some more of the big SNES games too.

Rank one for me, though 8 is a close second.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but 64 ranks last for me, with Wii just in front of it.

I go with whatever starter has the coolest final form-though I’d say the most common for me is the fire starter.

As such, I haven’t made my decision yet.

I was set to buy today…till I realized I haven’t got through the demo. So will wait until I get through that…if Chocobo GP doesn’t distract me further next week!

I don’t know why people thought it would be Arceus style. Just because you can see Pokémon in the wild? Like in some of the other games?

Also, and I get that for adult gamers, I’m probably in the minority, but I’ll be glad for it to return to the classic style. I love playing Pokémon where it’s pretty easy, and I can just leisurely do what I want.

Arceus is great, and the battle system is amazing, but it’s also one that keeps you on your toes a little more. Nothing wrong with that, but it’sa game I want to play when I have a little longer to play and able to concentrate more.

I’m excited for this. The ps1 game was probably my most non-rpg game I played on that system.

Might be the minority, but I don’t really care to play fighting games online much…single player or couch play for me.

I’m excited been a fan since gen 1. I disagree with most of the complaints with the newer titles, and am really excited for these games!

@Tzara Nintendo were the Industry leaders and wanted to keep things running a certain way in the industry-the industry that they revived from collapse,.

Sega was doing a lot of the ribbing at this time.

@Donutman the whole Nintendo PlayStation thing, if that’s what you’re referring to, often gets only part of the story told, so Nintendo comes out as the clear bad guy. It’s reported less often how Sony was trying to take advantage of the situation where they would reap most of the profits.

Nintendo was wrong in switching partners so late, but Sony has its fair share of blame for this happening.

I get it…but still seems an odd choice, or maybe just a risky one, to order so many copies so late in the life cycle of the snes…

I would love to see Chrono Trigger and all the snes FF and DQ games in this style!!!

I don’t know why this surprises people. We’ve been mentioning it since the dawn of digital purchases. Don’t act surprised now.

It’s not Trigger-but then again, what is? But it’s a great game and I’m so excited to be able to play it again! I did think this would be in todays direct, but thought it would be out sooner. Still, not too far away!

Well, this is obviously gonna have lots of info on Kirby and Triangle Strategy. I’d imagine getting some smaller updates on the B-tier coming too (Chocobo GP!).
Then maybe news on a new game or 2!

I’m thinking we will finally learn about Chrono Cross, and it possibly being available after the presentation. I also think we will hear about another something with their recent friendliness with Microsoft.
