If you're into NES music check out the band ANAMANAGUCHI (weird name i know) but they make their sounds off a hacked NES soundboard apparently and they have so much nostalgia!

I know people who want to hear that a game is really long so they know they are getting a good value...and then they don't even take the game out of the shrink wrap.

If you read more about the stock market, the mobile and social media/tech industries are in a gigantic bubble right now and all investors are throwing money at almost any app idea that could be the next instagram or Facebook. This is almost a carry over of that. But I have faith in Nintendo. This ain't no Candy Crush Saga one hit wonder game maker.

Goals/ ideas:

Animal crossing outfit building smartphone app - QR code the outfit into your game
Tamagotchi style pokemon app - check your daycare pokemon or special conditions in an app
wii fit: health features on your phone that are relayed into your game
streetpass relay: use your phone to relay streetpasses

Key point is that they serve to enhance the MAIN game on a Nintendo platform.

So excited for this game. I know its gonna be a hit, finally a new IP that people will actually care about!

You can play 10 GBA games on the 3DS as long as you have ambassador status. They said they wouldn't release them to the public, so they went to release them on the wii u instead.

I have so many fond memories of making and watching animations on the DSi version, going through flip note Hatena to see all the battles, nintendo themed videos, music videos, and general silly kid stuff that just felt so awesome and special to me. Thinking back one of the top videos was just a "petition to get a youtube app on Dsi..." at least that came true on the 3DS!

What a great article! I really appreciated reading it and find it more valuable than most of the articles or "news" on this site. This one actually had insight!

The first few make me want to see a live action zelda movie. Stunning job!

The smash community is a joke and here is why:

"Pro" Players call other people who play the game with friends or online "scrubs" or "casuals" and put them down in a derogatory manner.

"Causal" players (anybody who plays but not in tournaments- my loose definition) call pro players "whiney" and ask "who cares" to small balance issues that only affect competitive play.

Why can't we all respect each other and bond over our love for this game, REGARDLESS of each person's skill level?
