I’m psyched. Some people think they know better than Nintendo. “Not MY METROID!!” Time and time again, and more often than not, Nintendo (and Retro) have proven they know what they’re doing. “They don’t know what the series about!” So you honestly think that Nintendo and Retro aren’t aware of what the series has been and what makes the series great? But YOU do. Haha. Here’s the thing, THEY CANT MAKE THE SAME GAME OVER AND OVER. Just like your favorite band can’t make their first album over and over and people are upset or call them sellouts when their style evolves. Because you know who Metallica are better than Metallica and they should just keep making Master of Puppets. Just as an analogy. Haha. I for one don’t want Super Metroid and Metroid Prime (love them as I do) rehashed over and over again. Will Myles be annoying? Probably. But the other characters will be different, and I’m sure there will be plenty of time for your precious (over-stated and over-emphasized by the naysayers, IMO) sense of isolation.

It seems like people are down on this game since the whole motorcycle reveal, and i don’t get it. It was a tiny snippet and probably not a huge part of the game. I’m pretty sure this game is going to blow people away, similarly to how the original MP blew people away when they were expecting it to be bad. We shall see.

Those mouse controls really proving themselves useful so far…

So are there actually new levels?

It seems like people really really wanted to hate this game. And then ubi soft will go bankrupt and those same people will come out of the woodwork and complain about how we’re losing these iconic game developers. I mean how can one very respected games journalist call this a great game and then some random commenter in a thread calls it “unplayable slop”. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

I still hate that we’re not getting a real d-pad.

I think they need to block a lot of these titles from releasing on the platform at all. I mean even if you could filter out titles I feel like managing that would be a full-time in and of itself

@Clammy it definitely has performance issues from the very beginning. If you’re not seeing it I’m not sure what to tell you. That being said it hasn’t been terribly distracting, surprisingly. And no I’m not playing a pirated copy but a genuine cartridge on my OLED switch.

I dunno, I’m very skeptical. Seems very smooth and everything is pushed so close to the edges, and like it would be slippery to hold. And also, PLEASE NINTENDO give us a proper d-pad.

I’m convinced this console will never die. Haha. It’s a dream we can’t wake up from.

Yeah I started Fantasian on iPhone and thought it seemed really awesome. I would definitely pick that up on Switch

@PikminMarioKirby yeah but those games are sooo good with the stereoscopic 3D! I really think they’re perfect on the 3DS, don’t really personally feel they need to be remade on the Switch. I’d rather an original new Kirby game!

I’m not a Monster Hunter guy but this simpler style actually looks pretty intriguing to me

@CJD87 hmm is the joker order thing actually true? I don’t see why it would be. I would think the multipliers add up the same no matter the order. I mean it only calculates the total the the very end once everything has been added up, right?

This game is a gem that went way under the radar due to no/bad marketing. One of my favorite GBA games.

I couldnt care less for the social aspect, personally.. but exploring the ocean? Hell yeah!

Definitely M vs DK #1, but some of these others look interesting for sure

I enjoyed it, but I’m a little surprised to see Metroid Dread so high. I agree with the people who think TotK is overrated. It’s just too much of everything and it seems like people anointed it the greatest game ever even before playing it. I enjoyed BotW much more.

I can’t deal with fake reactions of people pretending to play video games. Just can’t. Haha. Nintendo does this in a lot of their commercials and I find it unbearably cringy.

So I got to the part with the Flying Squirrel OS, and it was making these absurdly obnoxious noises incessantly. It was irritating to the point that I had to quit the game. Also, the windows of the OS were being opened and buttons clicked only by hovering over them, without hitting any buttons! I wasn't sure if the game was glitching or what. It was really strange. Has anyone else experienced this??

I loathe the idea for this game and ignorant humans who kill animals wantonly. I logged in just to say that. Don't buy this trash.
