I would say when they sort out the bloody mess over there, you should receive an invite on the first day or 2nd day very latest! 55 years old in December this year, but when it comes to gaming my heart and mind goes back to the 1980s and especially 1990s (here's looking at you SNES). Fast forward to 2025 and yes the 5th of June can't come soon enough. So happy to have secured a console and accessories on my nintendo. Come christmas time, nintendo consoles are my go to consoles and yep I' m a big nintendo gaming kid at heart and don't intend on growing up either 😀

looks pretty good but my next few months gaming money is already allocated towards Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown PS5 and Zelda EOW, so will pass on this one.

@Teksetter appreciate the star wars jargon there and yeh I have been banging on about this for a while now. As the legal rights around TMNT cowabunga collection was overcome, then surely this could be done for these gems! IMO I feel if the 2 compilations were ever done, 1 for the NES/SNES and the other for the N64/GC, then they could sell very well?! And as much as I would like physical copies of each compilation, I would be more than happy for digital only.

May the 4th be with you all and still patiently waiting for a NES/SNES compilation of Star Wars, ESB and a SNES return of the Jedi along with a N64/GC compilation of the Rogue Squadron games! Here's hoping someone might take this on in 2025??

On a personal note my 2023 moment was...... my Switch is now 4 years old and I still don't have joycon drift!! Seriously though, has to be TOTK, Mario Wonder and Mario RPG, also, the announcement of Paper Mario TYD. Yep, loving the MW (started W4 last night) game and the visuals are stunning! Merry Christmas everyone! Raises a glass of wine to Mario Wonder and to you all! PS played about 30 mins of Avatar FOP the other night and very impressed as well!

NES, SNES Mario games, retro madden, TMNT in time and Shredders Revenge and fifa games from the xbox 360/PS3 era. Oh and lots of wine to cleanse my pallet! PS and now Antstream as well

Going back to my dream volume 2, 4 game (Spectrum) collection if made? TranzAM, Deathchase, Horace and the spiders and will change Grebet (Frogger) for Jetpac! Will pay in advance for this volume, if ever confirmed? PS going back to Antstream, what I also love about it is you can play the NES and SNES Starwars games! If only someone would make a collection of these like the Jurassic Park classic collection coming out soon!!

As much as this is refreshing to see and being the wrong side of 52, I played these games and remember them with fond memories. However, these 4 games are not enough to make me bite as I have either some or all on Antstream on my Xbox. Which to me is a god send to scratch that retro itch! PS having a ball on Antstream (roughly £30 for 1 year membership and about £80 for a life long membership) and if you have a PC or Xbox and love retro gaming then it's a must IMO, trust me! Obviously there are other means of playing these games for free, but I do like what Antstream are doing and I'm happy to have paid out for a year's membership which I may turn into a life time membership if all is going well with Antstream, a year from now? PPS Going back to this 4 game collection, Hopefully, volume 2 of this (if made?) will be TranzAM, Deathchase, Horace and the spiders and Grebet (Spectrum Frogger).... Then you have my money!

Wiped out then, shame.... Although there is a good alternative already on the Switch (Fast RMX) and there's always Wipeout Omega Collection on PS4/5 if you really want this type of game.

After finishing TOTK (God I hate GLOOM!!), currently playing Paper Mario Color Splash on the ole WII U. Plus walking the dog and watching Wales vs England in the rugby later on today with a bottle of wine. Have a good weekend all!

2024 Christmas release (with VC instead of the current setup) is fine for me. As much as I enjoyed playing TOTK, the pop up was terrible and I was left thinking yep it's time for the new console! However that said, it is still a great piece of hardware and the game was excellent too IMO! And with SMB Wonder and Mario RPG coming soon, plenty of life left in the Switch yet!

Not surprised, definitely Tears FOR the competition or Tears OF the competition as (IMO) good luck trying to knock the GOTY off the top spot for a while! Fantastic game and just got to remember to make time to walk the dog, interact with the wife and go to work, as this game is slightly time consuming!

If it wasn't for the breakable weapons I would have given this 10, as it stands 9.5. 15 hours in and hooked!!

Give me a Star Wars collection with all the NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube games (like the TMNT collection) and I wouldn't wait for the sales to purchase that one!! KOTR 2 looks tempting though as I enjoyed the first one.

Lots of good games here, however I've said it before and I'll say it again..... when is there going to be a Star Wars collection with NES Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, SNES Star Wars, ESB and ROTJ and throw in N64 SOTE, RS and Gamecube RS 2 and 3! Many years ago (in the Jurassic period ), I brought this game on PS store and got a refund because it was so broken it was un-playable! Moving on many years to the present, by the amount of bug fixes above , it still looks f**ked!!! Great idea and could be a fantastic game. But do I want to take a chance and buy it again????

@Duffman92 Yep heard you there. Being in my 50s, I was brought up that if the weather was cr*p you stayed in and played and if the weather was good you went out. And if I didn't, I had to put up with Mum blasting out Tammy Wynette on the record player while vacuuming. I soon learnt it was best to go out. However to be fair, back then, speed run marathons like the mentioned, wouldn't exist for another 35 years or so!!

Answer: like a severe bout of diarrhea! Absolutely not, that was the one thing that grinds my teeth with BOTW. I don't have an issue with working hard to get decent weapons, however, once obtained, they should not break IMO!

Apart from the NES and SNES Star Wars games and the N64 and Gamecube Rogue Squadron games, this would be another game I would like to see remastered and released. Well here's hoping??!

In between dog walking, Rugby European cup matches, I will be playing Fifa 15 on the PS3, ACNH, Switch sports golf and Desert Strike on the SNES.

When it comes to the hardware, it was old and out of date when it was first released. Oh and don't get me started on the online performance issues! That said, Nintendo games (IMO) are easily some of the best and that is how they get away with it. Anyway, once Zelda TOTK comes out in 5 months time it will all feel new again! But word of advice Nintendo, going forward, just make sure you bring out plenty of AAA Nintendo games (Mario, Starfox and Fzero) before you bring out the Switch's successor which will probably be in the next 2 years or so.

And inbetween getting out and going for a walk, play TMNT Shredders Revenge and anything with Mario in it! PS or own a staffie, as my dog cracks me ups with all her antics!!
