For me personally, I think what games do is take you back to a time where you didn't really have a care in the world. Mario games take me back to the mid 80s where I was 14/15 years old and didn't have any worries as life was far simpler back then in lots of ways. So when I fire up mario now, I am transported to that time and place psychology and being an adult with all the stresses of modern day life just drift away like my pro-controller after 6 years of use. Reminds me, I need to get a new controller.

It sounds better than an old Japanese martial arts series called MONKEY (or monkey magic in the uk) back in the late 70s early 80s. YouTube it 😆!

Hopefully more genuine gamers got their consoles rather than scalping scumbags!

Yep all the best and gaming CBT is a good way to deal with the black dog as it focuses the mind on other things. Animal Crossing was my go to game during covid, certainly helped during those dark times. And having a bonkers staffie helps too!!

The switch 2 has become nintendo games only for me and it hasn't even been released yet! If nintendo go down the route of no physical games then I'm hanging up my pro-controller for good. And with 45 years of gaming under my belt, I 'm really not impressed with the way this is all going!

Not bothered, never intended on using it anyway. Had enough of all that audio bullsh*t from my COD ps3/ps4 days to put me off for life!! However, it was really funny once hearing somebody's wife in the background giving him a boll*king and telling him to stand down immediately because his evening meal had gone cold!

I feel the switch 2 will either be my last console or penultimate one as the game prices are getting too high, I have played all new games already in some shape or form and physical games could soon be a thing of the past. Thankfully I have many retro systems to scratch a gaming itch going forward if I decide the switch 2 will be my final console. I have to say, I wasn't really blown away with my ps5 purchase from the ps4 and quickly sold off the Xbox series x, so it's not just a dig at nintendo.

@Angelic_Lapras_King although this is not my first choice compilation it is good more and more retro compilations are coming out (if done with QoL improvements). My dream compilation would be NES and SNES star wars compilation as well as the N64 and Gamecube rogue squadron games. Here's dreaming!

Yep colour me interested if it's done with QoL improvements. Sega have so many classics they need to remaster and put on switch 2! A new panzer dragoon would make me dust off the old wallet! And if nintendo made a switch 2 light gun, well, there are so many games that could be remastered and re-released?!

Yep switch 2 games for me now aswell, apart from astrobot at a reasonable price. It's hard to justify buying anything this month when around June the 5th, nintendo are going to take over £700 from my bank account and £65 for DK bananza in July. That said, it's going to be a fantastic June onwards!

What I would love to see is a NES and SNES star wars collection on the switch 2, N64 and Gamecube star wars games on NSO. Even better, remastered N64 and Gamecube games on the Switch 2. Take my money now!

Arh I remember the good old days going into a newsagent and buying nintendo magazines. Only problem was, once when pulling one of these mags out, a load of naughty mags from the top shelf fell down and I had the embarrassment of having to put them all back up, in a crowded shop! DOH!!! I did honestly want just the nintendo mag, honest!

IDK I tend to drift off when watching these nintendo pro controller showcases!

Years ago I had my own sandwich business, rather than increase prices, I reduced them instead. Bottom line is, I sold more and ended up making more money than I did before! Something here for all companies who want rip us all off! Great to see this game going for a very generous price, you have my money and I hope others buy into this game. Ps hopefully the game kicks a** and proves me right as I love these wipeout type games!

When ebay started to get flooded, I made it my mission to report as many as possible on the grounds of ebay's own rule that item could not ship within 40 days. I must have reported 100 or more only to be told by an AI bot that it was not removed as there was nothing wrong. So I appealed against every decision and guess what most of the original decisions were kept in place by the appeals AI bot. The problem is ebay does not give a crap even in it's own rules as it makes more money from the inflated prices. Bottom line is, don't be an idiot and buy from a scalper and be patient!!
