Re: Talking Point: What Game Do You Replay Every Year?

karatekid1612

Easy....... TMNT Turtles in time SNES, Star Wars, ESB and ROTJ SNES, Link to the past SNES, SMW SNES, SMB Allstars SNES, WIIU MarioKart and Windwaker (hurry up with the Switch remake), NES SMB, NES Star Wars and Saturn Nights Xmas edition (mini Saturn either 2023 or 2024 please). All played around Xmas time and some any time of year! And yes all played on the original consoles! PS Star Wars Rogue Squadron N64 and Rogue Squadron 2 and 3 Gamecube (again, remakes soon please!) PPS Oh and how could I forget, the original Donkey Kong on the SNES. Sh*t, I need to get out more

Happy New Year all! 2022 was good for me as we got TMNT Shredders Revenge and the Cowabunga Collection. And with that my Xmas gaming was perfection apart from some sliced shots on Switch Sports golf!! That said, BOTW 2 and hopefully a Star Wars collection (along lines of the Cowabunga Colletion) including all NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube Star wars games would make for a perfect 2023! So ending on that note enjoy tonight and hopefully your hangover isn't too bad tomorrow morning

my first dip in the ink has been a blast, so not surprised it's doing so well. Very glad I brought it! Received my copy of Mario and Rabbids SoH today so expecting that one to be up there in the charts as well, as it's great too! TMNT still hanging on in there which is great to see. Hopefully a NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube Star Wars collection gets the same treatment soon??!! Fingers crossed

Re: Talking Point: What Did You Think Of The Latest Nintendo Direct?

karatekid1612

Lots to be happy about for me, especially Merry Mountain on wave 3 which is just in time for Christmas! However, unless you wear green welly boots and wear Barbour clothing, there were a few too many farming sims for me IMO. That said, Mario and Rabbids is already pre-ordered and waiting patiently for GoldenEye (which is a must) and Zelda TOTK. Just hoping that one day soon a collection is made of the old NES and SNES Star Wars games as well as the N64 and Gamecube Rogue Squadron games.... oh along with
Shadows of the Empire as well please

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection

karatekid1612

30 years in the making for me (since Christmas 1992 TMNT in time)!! And really happy to see this collection nearly on my Switch. 9 out of 10 sounds good to me but personally I would have given it a 10 just for TMNT in time alone Here's hoping for a NES and SNES Star Wars collection (NES SW and ESB, SNES SW, ESB and ROTJ) in the not too distant future and maybe a 3 x Rogue Squadron (2 X GC and 1 X N64) and Shadows of the Empire (N64) collection to follow?!!

Re: Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection - The New Gold Standard For Retro Compilations

karatekid1612

Well roll on Tuesday!! Already pre-ordered and waiting patiently!! This is gaming wish 2 out of 3 come true, so really happy about this release and the great review just makes me more impatient for Tuesday to arrive
1st gaming wish was an updated version of TMNT in time (which we kind of got with Shredders Revenge) and the 3rd is a similar collection, but with the old Star Wars games: NES Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back, along with SNES Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The cherry on top would be all the Rogue Squadron games and Shadows of the Empire remastered and added together as a collection as well. Any devs interested in making that happen? You have my money already!

karatekid1612

Downloaded, played and thoroughly enjoyed, great set of tracks and IMO nice one Nintendo (I would say 8 out of 10). Today has been a great day as my physical copy of TMNT SR arrived finally aswell! Game on! Looking forward to the Cowabunga Collection now and maybe at some point in the future somebody making a Star Wars Collection with NES Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back as well as the SNES versions of SW, ESB AND ROTJ. Maybe one day hopefully??!!

Re: Feature: Nintendo eShop Selects - June 2022

karatekid1612

Looking forward to my physical copy of Shredders Revenge coming at the end of the month hopefully!! And if it wasn't for CJS CD KEYS not sending me a £25 eshop voucher or a refund, then I would have the digital version and be enjoying right now. Potential buyers from this company be aware!!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 25th)

karatekid1612

Well it would have been TMNT SR but due to the online shop CJS CD KEYS not providing the correct e-shop code (wrong region) and dragging their heels with regards to a providing me with a correct code or refund (potential future buyers be very aware and check out the bad reviews on Trustpilot!!), it will be episodes 4 and 5 on lego star wars. Happy gaming everyone and take note about my warning regarding CJS CD KEYS!!!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 18th)

karatekid1612

Well it would have been TMNT Shredders Revenge, but I have to wait for my physical copy from The Cool Shop and although I purchased a European e-shop download voucher to purchase the digital TMNT game, for some reason the Euro code does not work on my Euro region Switch???!! Any ideas anyone (PS still waiting on the legit online company to provide a work around who sold it to me)?? So on that note, it will be Mario Kart WIIU with the Grand Kids

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge Probably Won't Get Any DLC

karatekid1612

Although I'm on my 2nd glass of wine due to a day off work, it's not just the 2 glasses of wine that are giving me a warm happy fuzzy feeling at the moment. The fact this game is finally out tomorrow is certainly an additional factor! This game doesn't need DLC as it's got my money already and it's going to be fantastic anyway! Huge thanks to the devs for making a personal dream come true!
