I guess this means that I will need a family membership to use two Nintendo Accounts on the same Switch making the service 44.99CAD per year. Not too bad, I suppose. It could always be better, of course.

I wonder what other NES titles they'll have. I see that "It will also be possible to play these games offline." That's good. At least that's what is stated on the Nintendo of Canada site.

The Nintendo of America site seems to suggest that some games may have online functionality without this service. Maybe that will be the case for Rocket League or Minecraft or Stardew Valley (when online starts), for example.

@Rockmirth It's more of a pre-load than a pre-order. You download 99% of it and then the 1% downloads when the release date and time occurs. (Or some similar percentage.) This can be helpful for slower connections as well as bogging down the server on release date.

Nifty retrospective. Well, if you like Kirby games, then I hope this new instalment is good for you. I, however, will not be purchasing this one.

Never heard of this game at all. But, it looks really fantastic. Not too sure about motion controls, but the touch screen idea should be good.

I enjoyed the parts where it stated that it wasn't final game footage. I thought that was neat as the game is coming out in less than seven weeks. Maybe this is normal. I'm not too sure.

Looks great. Lots of neat gameplay elements. Hopefully it'll be a bit better than their last tennis effort.

It was a great game on the Wii and I played it a lot with my daughter. I highly doubt I will purchase this one just because it's on the Switch.

@Menchi187 There certainly are some extreme examples of fanboys who would, no doubt, buy anything that has the name Nintendo on it.

I like Nintendo, just like everyone else on this site, but I have no need to purchase every retro game or Amiibo or box of cereal or what have you just because it says Nintendo.

Mind you, I did stop in North Bend, WA and took a picture of the Nintendo sign. I think it's a production and distribution centre.

That's a shame. I hope he is able to learn from this and move on with his life without having the need (or desire) to steal from others. We've all made mistakes in life. I cannot judge a man from two paragraphs on a video game website.

It looks fantastic. I can imagine a lot of kids (or certain parents) really liking this idea. Plus, cardboard is easily recyclable.

Plus, really inexpensive to manufacture. I'm thinking there's a nice profit margin.

I really enjoyed the game on the WiiU. Its humour and gameplay are great. I know that I didn't quite finish it either as my thumbs just weren't quick enough for that last batter...or at least I think it was the last battle.

Meh. No big loss here. I prefer to watch stupid shows and movies on the bigger screen anyway.

All those other things are done well enough on the plethora of other devices that exist and most homes have at least one other option for Netflix, Internet, Facebook, Twitter, and the like.

I'll definitely need to read a review before this one as their last Mario Tennis game was, um, not so good.

Interesting. Not too sure I'll be able to find hidden balloons as I'm not really that good with doing fancy jumps and the like.

Definitely pass on Hyrule Warriors. I played it enough on the WiiU. More importantly, we would need another Switch to have a similar experience as we did on the WiiU as with the WiiU one person could have the Gamepad and another person could have the TV.

Never got into Donkey Kong Country so I'm sure I'll pass on that one as well.

I played a lot of this game on the Wii. Not too sure I'd be interested in going back to it, however.

I wouldn't mind playing the original "Grand Theft Auto".

It's a great couch co-op game. My daughter played a lot of it that way. I don't think we ever finished it, however.

A truly wonderful game that I think I enjoyed even more than either of the Dig games. When it gets a great sale on the Switch, then I might buy it again.

My daughter and I tried out the demo last week and I was simply not impressed. Part of that may have been the fact that we loved Max and the Magic Marker, which allowed us to solve problems in unique and creative ways. I think this game is going to need a good discount before it ends up on our Switch.

@NinNin The real tricky part is doing both at the same time. I know I have a lot of trouble playing Sudoku while mountain biking. Damn near put a 9 in the wrong square!
