I played it a bit a few years ago and the returned to in on another console where I got a fair bit further along on the story. Might be a bit too hard for these old fingers and my poor reflexes.
It was a pretty good game with a fun little story and interesting characters and relatively straightforward RPG elements. And I do like a dancing Bowser!
There was one spot that I never thought I could have figured out and I didn't have the patience/time to do it on my own, however.
No real issues for me. I looked online about 20 minutes after they were available and I sat in the queue for a bit and didn't get one. Near the end of the day I thought I would just head into the local GameStop (soon to be rebranded back to EBGames here in Canada) and I pre-ordered the Mario Kart bundle without a problem.
I walked into the local GameStop at about 4pm local time and was able to pre-order the bundle (which is what I wanted) without an issue. GameStop's Canadian website shows that most of their 186 stores have availability. (It doesn't state if it's for the base or bundle, however.)
I have no idea. If GameStop only gives me $50, then I'll probably just keep it.
It also depends on how much software can actually be transferred to the Switch 2. We probably won't know that until the new machine actually arrives.
I'm using the original V1 and, other than going through four joy cons and a pro controller, the machine itself seems to be doing fine. It does spend most of its life docked and hasn't travelled much in the last few years, however.
From the Bloomberg article, "Employees who were affected by the job cuts will receive six months of severance and health insurance, as well as accelerated stock vesting."
I bought the cart, played (and finished) the campaign, traded in the cart towards TOTK. No regrets. I enjoyed the game, but I could not see every wanting to revisit it.
I enjoyed Pikmin 3 on the Wii U, but I'm unconvinced that I need to return to the world of Pikmin. I will definitely wait for some reviews for this next instalment.
I picked this up for a couple of dollars the other day and I quite enjoy it. The steering is easy enough to understand if you've played top-down racers before.
It looks like the developer did adjust the AI quite a bit as I haven't found the difficulty unfair at all.
It's definitely not Gran Turismo 7, but I think most potential buyers would understand that before buying.
The console seems fine. I wasn't too impressed with the four joy cons that I sent to Nintendo for drift issues. But, as I didn't have to pay extra (other than my time) to send them in and get them sent back, I'm not overly grumpy about it. I guess those class-action lawsuits are sometimes helpful.
It took me quite a while to realize that I had to turn on "Fitness Tracking" under "Motion and Fitness" in iOS15. The help in the app kept telling me that I had to use the "Health" app. I guess the "Health" app depends on the "Motion and Fitness" being turned on.
Not too sure how much I like a tracking app on my phone (besides the ones that I don't know about). It'd be nice if it could just count my steps without having to have location services turned on and running in the background at all times.
@Would_you_kindly I don't think it's on the Switch and I wouldn't think it'd be ported as it's getting a bit old. I think it was originally a WiiU exclusive. I guess anything is possible with Ubisoft.
ZombieU was actually the game that got me most interested in the potential of the Wii U
They didn't charge me. They even sent out pre-paid UPS labels. My only cost was time and packaging the items and taking them down to the UPS store to be shipped out.

Re: Dunjungle
The demo has been quite a bit of fun so far. I'll definitely keep this on my radar.

Re: Review: SHINOBI: Art Of Vengeance (Switch) - A Beautifully Crafted Return For Joe Musashi
I enjoyed fiddling around with the demo, but I think I'll wait for a sale on this one.
Re: Shin'en Announces 'The Touryst: Deluxe', Exclusive To Switch 2
Excellent. I've been looking for a reason to play through this one again.
Re: Rainbow Road Master Is Back In Mario Kart World, And He's Already Setting Records
The typo of "3:39:987" made this article's conclusion of "3:55" as "the next milestone" a bit confusing on the first read.

Re: Exclusive: Fast Fusion Will Contain 12 Tracks, Free Content Update Confirmed
Shin'en makes some great games and offers them at a reasonable price so I might just pick it up to support them.
I thoroughly enjoyed Art of Balance and Jett Rocket on Wii; Nano Assault Neo and Fast Racing Neo on the WiiU; and the Touryst on Switch.

No real issues for me. I looked online about 20 minutes after they were available and I sat in the queue for a bit and didn't get one. Re: Nintendo Shares More Footage Of Zelda: Wind Waker On Switch 2
Definitely a surprise Zelda gem for me when I picked it up on the WiiU as I had never played it on GameCube.

Excellent!
You scored 5/12, and rank 3,180th out of 4,460!
Re: Not Sold On Switch 2 Camera? HORI's Piranha Plant Model Might Change Your Mind
That's very nice. It looks a lot like a LEGO plant that I have around here.

Re: Your 'Nintendo Switch Year In Review 2023' Stats Are Available Now
25 games for a total of 764 hours.
Most played were Retro Bowl, Tears of the Kingdom, and Hexceed. (I tend to listen to podcasts or 'music' while playing Retro Bowl and Hexceed.)
I especially like how both January and August didn't even register and only 1 hour in February.

Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom: All amiibo Unlocks
I totally forgot about these Amiibo things. I think I have Sheik, Toon Link, Ganondorf, and Wolf Link.
Re: Poll: Which Was Your First 'Final Fantasy'?
I honestly have no idea. Maybe VII on the PC many years ago.
Re: Anniversary: Five Years Ago, Nintendo Unboxed Its Most Joyful, Harebrained Experiment

I enjoyed his superhero persona of Speed Walker.
Re: No Gravity Games Is Handing Out 12 Free Switch Games This Month (North America)
@Sethdedun That's not what No Gravity Games is saying on their website, which is what I quoted. If it works in other places, then that's great.

Unfortunately, this giveaway is for US only.

I haven't played Mario Kart for several years — I guess I could boot up ye olde WiiU.

Re: Poll: The Hype For Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Is High, Is It In Your Switch Plans?
I haven't played Grand Theft Auto since the original release on PC in 1997. That game was lots of fun.
Re: Feature: Our Verdict On The LEGO Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block
It's a really nice set. It has lots of great little details and the cutest Yoshi I've ever seen. (Even more cute than a little Yarn Yoshi.)
Re: Gallery: Feast Your Eyes On Metroid Dread's Special Edition

Re: Round Up: Here's What The Critics Think Of Nintendo Switch OLED
I mostly use the Switch while docked so this upgrade seems unnecessary for me.
Re: Consumer Advocacy Group Calls Out Nintendo For Joy-Con Drift Ahead Of Switch OLED Launch
I sent in four joycons to Nintendo and they fixed them and sent them back. A bit annoying, but wasn't too bad.
