The best thing about the Wii U was it suability to have a separate screen for local multiplayer. In fact, my daughter and I have been playing a lot of Nintendo Land recently.

I may have been willing to buy both a Wii U and a 3DS, but I'm not too likely to want to buy two Swtiches given that they will probably be $450 or so after taxes here in the Great White North. But, that's all the speculating I will do now. Looking forward to the proper reveal.

Nintendo's coming out with a new console?!?! That's all quite exciting. Rumours, however, are not.

I guess there's something to be said for having the right console at the right time. Clearly this was the case with the NES, DS, and Wii. Innovation can be successful as those three pieces of hardware have been. But, status quo can also be successful as its seems to work for Xbox and Playstation. (We see similar results with software.)

Whatever the NX ends up being I'm very confident that it will have great games from Nintendo. (As long as it's not Mario tennis, that is.)

@Mega_Yarn_Poochy Something does happen when you hit a score of 420 in Snake Classic.

I picked this one up when it was on sale recently. It's a fun little game. I just wish it would stop freezing up the WiiU.

I think I'll pick up Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty and Armikrog.

No interest in this at all. Only thirty games and no way to add more. Where's my Spy Hunter, Cobra Triangle, RC Pro AM, Pro Wrestling, Kung Fu, Life Force, or Arkanoid? No Restore Points, which I have gotten used to on the Virtual Console.

I think I'll save my $80 and put that towards an NX.

Seems reasonable. If you already have a PS4 and/or an Xbox One, then it might seem reasonable to pick up an NX rather than updating your console to the "improved" versions.

I see a lot of "ifs" in that last paragraph. Let's hope the "ifs" do pan out.

@masterLEON I'll agree that Wii Sports sold that system, but there's no way a Zelda game is going to sell the NX to the masses.

@ThanosReXXX Fair enough. My comment was mostly that one game isn't going to sell a system. I suppose I am becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of "best" games for the WiiU and concern about what might be on the NX. Don't get me wrong, I like the WiiU a lot and I think the GamePad is truly fantastic (we've even been playing NintendoLand lately). While I don't know a lot about the NX, I think it might be a very difficult sell to me and it's unlikely to be a day one purchase for me (unlike the WiiU).

This Mii app seems like it is at least five years too late.

I had no idea about these as I clearly missed out on the previous ones. Nevertheless, my daughter was happy to get this little Pokémon. I don't really understand Pokémon, but she is happy to explain it to me and I'm happy to pretend that I'm comprehending what she's explaining.

Seems like a decent sale to me. I'm sure I'll pick up Shantae and Paper Mario. Probably Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. Maybe Majora's Mask. Still on the fence about Splatoon. Don't want Smash Bros.

@zool Value is completely subjective. If it is monetary value that you are referring to, however, then these cards may not be a sound business investment.

Seems odd to showcase a game that is, more or less, guaranteed to sell and get hype no matter what. I guess the Big N doesn't have anything else up its sleeve or even has sleeves!

I thought the Wii and the DS were gimmicky so I'm not surprised the Wii U is gimmicky as well and, no doubt, the NX will be.

I remember when controllers had just one button so anything more than that seems totally gimmicky to me. I mean, how dare the Sega have three buttons. WTF!? Mind you the Intellevision and Colecovision had more than one. Anyway...back to work for me.

Seems like an interesting set. I do agree with others that the price seems a tad out of line especially compared to other licensed sets such as the Kwik-E-Mart. Mind you, it's still a lot less expensive than Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave.

No matter what it is, I'm sure it'll be unique.

@A01 I don't find Hyrule Warriors too bad in multiplayer. My daughter loves using the gamepad and the TV for me and we both seem relatively satisfied. Mind you, I only have a Wii U so I don't know about other consoles and their performance.

In Canada, we get 30% off Splatoon for 140 gold points and we can get 10 Game Tickets (1 use) for 250 platinum points. There's no listed expiry date for the 10 Game Tickets.

I'm assuming other Canadians, besides myself, are getting these deals, too.

@Discostew Probably because Canada is not the same as the US. I'm sure the 'deals' vary in Mexico as well.

I guess this is to get people to use the site more frequently as opposed to only going to the old system once a year to claim points. I guess.

Seems unnecessary to me and acts as a real disincentive to want to use their service.

Never having played a Star Fox game, this all looks new to me. We'll see how a review goes, but my interest has certainly been piqued.

This story only encourages me to use my label maker to put "CONFIDENTIAL PROPERTY" on all my stuff.

I'm starting to get more interested picking this one up. I played the Wii version several times and it's such a great story and I can imagine the graphics and added details will make this...almost...worth the price. I'm also quite curious about how it will work without the 'waggle'.

It'll be a bit of a toss up if I get this one right away or not. Hmmm....

This definitely is a fast racer with nice graphics and a great sense of speed. I can imagine the difficultly will put some people off as it does take a lot of practice to master some of the tracks and get that elusive first place.
