Finished off Okami HD. Finished off Planet Alpha. Started and completed Subsurface Circular. Finally got started on Darkest Dungeon. Pretty good so far. Still working with Kemono Friends Picross.
I still haven't bothered with this service. I hardly ever played online anyway and I'm not too concerned about cloud saves and I have no interest in these vintage games. Even if there are three more today.
For the average consumer, I think there is easy enough access to the most significant titles in Nintendo's NES and SNES catalogue with the service on the Switch and the two retro consoles that Nintendo has produced.
Personally, I just don't care. I'm not into collecting old games or even wanting to play some of them. There is a plethora of current games that would take more than a lifetime to get through. I have found a couple of VC titles that I had never heard of that I enjoyed on the WiiU VC, but whether or not I was able to play them has no significant impact on my life.
Would it be nice to have the option? I suppose, but I'm not missing it.
I have the physical versions of Super Mario Party and Let's Go Evee pre-ordered. I might consider Starlink if I can get it without all the 'toys' or if there is enough to play without the 'toys'. I'm pretty undecided on Diablo. I haven't played a Diablo since the second one and that was a long time ago on a Mac far far away.
I gave up on Mega Man 11 after I played the demo. I don't think I like Mega Man. I also gave up waiting on Dark Souls. I think if it had come out in the summer, then I would have purchased it.
It's a good game. I don't care for the sexist and degrading comments made my the Issun character towards female NPCs. I also don't like how truly slow the camera pans.
I also find it funny that in one dialogue scene they have used "it's" incorrectly when they should have used "its".
"As the purchaser of a Family Membership, you will need to be at least 18 years old and save your credit card or link your PayPal account to your Nintendo Account via Nintendo eShop."
I have had it preordered since April when I thought I might want to play it in the summer. I think I'll cancel that preorder as things get a bit busier for me in the Fall. And, of course, there are a lot of other games coming out in the Fall.
If he is so sensitive to frame rate and performance issues, I wonder why he would even consider purchasing any software for a Nintendo console when it may be available on other gaming consoles or a computer. Nintendo isn't exactly known for its high-powered systems.
It's a great game. I don't find these issues negatively affect my enjoyment of the game. Mind you, I've only used Nintendo game consoles over the last decade and my MacBook Air is several years old.
I've only had a chance to play this game for a couple of hours, but I've been enjoying myself and definitely been getting killed quite regularly. The controls are great and there seems to be a decent level of variety...at least so far.
Having fun with this new Picross S. I don't care about touch controls on the Switch. Clip Picross is a nice little addition and I like how many of those puzzles are not squares.
@hYdeks You are much better than I am. I think I have about 15 hours in it so far and I can't get past the first round in the Star Cup nor can I get past Blooper in the Adventure Mode.
I'd still like to see Miiverse return. I found it quite entertaining and often very helpful. I really enjoyed the fact that I could post that I was stuck somewhere and then get some help. This is much more useful than Facebook or Twitter, particularly for those that don't have those accounts such as children.
Funny, I didn't notice that at all. Maybe I'll try it again.
I wonder if this glitch has been noticed by others when playing? And, no, I'm not going to bother searching because I just really don't care. It's a good game.
Truly awesome on the Amiga when it came out. I enjoyed playing it on my Mac again a few years ago. Unfortunately, I see no reason to purchase this again.
Nothing from that list for me this week. I just ordered Runner3 and The End is Nigh as they were on sale on amazon.ca. Nine Parchments at 50% is pretty tempting, however.
Tons of games available right now. Thus, I've been buying games that have gone on sale lately. Why create a backlog with full-priced games when I can create a backlog with sale-priced games?
I like this line: "As the purchaser of a Family Membership, you will need to be at least 18 years old and save your credit card or link your PayPal account to your Nintendo Account via Nintendo eShop." I'm not too sure I trust Nintendo OR my family members that much.
Pre-ordered the physical cart. I do find it interesting that the physical cart was less expensive than the digital version. Forty CAD for the former and fifty-five CAD for the latter. I thought it was supposed to be the other way round?

@JR150 Those are in the Namco Museum so I don't think you'll see them in the NES Online collection.
Re: Guide: How To Get Nintendo Switch Online For Less Than $5 Per Year
@abe_hikura I hope that's all it is. I don't want my credit card attached to the eShop for purchases.

I wonder if this is important?

Re: All Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Players Will Receive In-Game Freebies To Celebrate The New DLC
Not too sure I can get back into this game again. I finished it twice and, well, I think that's more than enough Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for me.
Plus, I have seven more stories in Octopath to finish up. Just finished Primrose's story earlier tonight.

Definitely a buy for me. I don't care about touch controls on the Switch although I did use them on the New 3DS.

That's a shame.

I'd much sooner have a significantly smaller box with the cart in it.
Re: Review: Ultra Space Battle Brawl (Switch eShop)

Re: Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker's Switch File Size Is Surprisingly Smaller Than On Wii U
But, the Toad amiibo isn't likely to give me access to Super Mario 3D World levels like it did on the Wii U.
Re: Review: Sushi Striker: The Way Of Sushido (Switch)
The demo was nicely done and I think the game will be good. But, I don't think it's something that anyone in this household will want to play.

Re: Review: ICEY (Switch eShop)
@ShadJV That was my question as well. Maybe I don't know what sort of titles belong in the fitness genre.
Re: Colourful Platformer de Blob Inks In Switch Release Date And Brand New Trailer
I really enjoyed this game on the Wii and I preordered the Switch version two months ago.
I trust that the graphics will be a bit higher than 480p on the newest Nintendo console.
Re: Review: Legend Of Kay Anniversary (Switch)
I played this on the Wii U. It's okay. Nothing exceptional. It doesn't seem to hold up too well over time.
I also like how this one is about 30CAD in physical form and almost 38CAD in the eShop.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?
Battle Chasers: Night War
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap
