Re: Nintendo Issues Official Statement Regarding The Allegations Made Against Nintendo Russia CEO Yasha Haddaji

Good. No mob rule. Regardless of what we've heard in one incident, we don't even know any of the context. Everything after that, allegations and what not, is just going after a scalp.

Let him stay, promote him for resilience of he lasts. The last thing I want to have happen to people is being scalped by a crowd.

Any of us can have jokes, misunderstandings or actual behaviors taken out of context. And even if you make a mistake, we all do. We all sound like an ahole on somebody's tape.

Looks like he was wrong. It also looks like others tried to frame him after.

Re: Talking Point: Come In Nintendo 3DS, Your Time Is Up

I'm torn. The 3ds is the console I love but never got to own.

If it gets a longer lifespan, sold for 50 bucks with the games at 20, you'll see it stay for over 7 years from now on.

I'm sure that route is very profitable for Nintendo. And for a bit, I wished they would take that route.

I hope we'll see the return of no glasses 3d. Especially the super stable new 3d thing - it was a great thing and we need more of it.

Couldn't sit through the end of octopath... seriously overrated in my book.

Smash looks great but... I've got no capable gaming friends coming over regularly. Haven't bought it for that reason.

Love my switch, but this year has been quiet and saw me play ps4 more with mhw and the like. Switch gets lots of fortnite time though, as I've got no gaming pc system:)

Here to stay, enjoy it a lot. All the best wishes for another great year guys!

Re: Feature: The Final Wii U Games We'd Like To See On Switch In 2019

@BornInNorway81 so far, the wii u has been the best Nintendo console yet. And yes, I've been here since the nes days. Switch is doing a great job though. Lots to play, great games to play... I've enjoyed the wii u from the first day on.

I think the switch will pass the wii u in time, in terms of quality content. You're right to defend it however - the wii u is a great system, I've enjoyed it an awful lot:)

Ranty comment, I just want a new pikmin game. Sigh.

Re: Random: Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air Actor Suing Epic For Adding Carlton Dance Move To Fortnite

This is not really a simple case, actually.

If it's iconic, it is a cultural phenomenon. That would make it commonplace and nothing to copyright. Then there's the organisation behind the production of the show. Can they own moves?

I think it's great that epic just adds these. I suspect it's not gonna be something worth writing home about. Frankly, this is more brand damage for him than anything else now.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Might Be Renaming The eShop

erv

@sleepinglion totally agreed. I pick up masterpieces that give me gameplay for a month for about 10 bucks in sony's ps4 store. I'm enjoying them a lot too. Nintendo is my number one gaming home, no question, but some excessive flash sales will make me purchase, try and play more for sure.

Re: Review: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - The Absolute Pinnacle Of Nintendo's Fighting Series

erv

@mazzel me too:p

I'm also not buying it. Not now and probably not later on either. I've had a blast with brawl, had people to play it with coming over regularly. However, by the time the wii u version hit, we didn't get to play it much. And it felt... soulless.

I'm happy the game is great. But for me to buy it, I need to be fairly certain that there are going to be many nights played with friends in order to enjoy it.

Doesn't look like it'll happen anytime soon.
