Re: Nintendo Bans Online Services For Prominent Hacker's Switch Console

@JaxonH the only real way to do it as a good guy. Owe up to your own actions.

I do feel you could give people in this position a new chance, just for once as a kind of goodwill. It's silly to try and break terms of service on your main account, of course, but if that account happened to be all you've got on all your purchases and connections perhaps one kind act doesn't hurt.

But yeah, if you want to experiment on it, invest your own risk and time setup. The hacking could be fun - just a bit over the edge with some exploits.

Voice will be discord, as it should be, nes games don't do much for me but hey, cute, and the cloud save thing is awesome.

I like the mention of live viewing of friends. In combination with discord it can be hilarious and a good time even if you're apart.

More online multiplayer is a welcome bonus. I hope gamecube games will show up at some point, I'd really like to play fzero gx on my switch

Mine has issues and can't keep a connection from 3 meters onwards.

I haven't sent it to Nintendo, as I had to wait a long time for it to be fixed. A consequence of the switch's popularity.

I'm going to fix it myself sometime. The yellow ones perform better.

Re: Bethesda Talks Plans For Future Support On The Switch

@ibotze oh I haven't had a chance to try it yet, considering the busy days I'm in. Multiplayer is a big part of why I bought it though, yet I'm enjoying the campaign a lot more than I thought.

Perhaps others who've been playing it longer can elaborate? I'm really into online multiplayer, personally.

Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For April And May

There's... not much on this list for me, to be honest.

I hope we'll get more games straight after e3. Well, with the backlog on my ps4 on some games I never got to play (all bought for ten bucks each the last few days) I'm still good. Plus, monster hunter world...

There's still am awesome lot of great games on switch to play, but I finished most of them. Perhaps I'll revisit some. This list is kind of underwhelming though.

Re: White House Meeting With Industry Execs Focuses On Violence In Video Games

@River3636 ah, that's something. Compared to our rate there seems to be no difference ( here it's 0,8 person per 100k higher even) and we have no gun culture anywhere. Seems if you take away the tool you don't take away the problem I guess.

It's a worrying thing for a society for sure, of course. Again, I too doubt whether gaming has anything you do with that, the same as it does in violent crime. The higher stigma risks putting people that are in trouble in the dark.

@River3636 well you've said what about spousal abuse and suicide rates. There's been a surge in suicide rates according to the numbers - my only remark about that is that it's tough to make a sensible statement about that without digging deep, as there must be lots of underlying issues and differences.

At least violent crime is violent by its nature as analysed after the fact, so to speak. Still, whether or not video games come into play affecting the suicide numbers? I doubt it, I'd assume it's much like the studies on violence itself.
