I think Yakuza, Persona, Monster Hunter Stories, Sparking Zero, and Octopath Traveler alone warrant at least a 7/10. People are being way too picky nowadays. We're closing in on 2 months of Switch 2. Please stop acting like there is nothing at all to play.

@Metazoxan Exactly. If they don't want to put the game on a Switch 2 cartridge, the least they could do would be to give us an upgrade path. Rune Factory had the right idea putting both versions on a single Switch 2 cart.

Another game to buy on a steep eshop discount. I'm not getting any key cards if I can help it.

@Lizuka My thoughts exactly. They should've just dropped a new trailer in a Nintendo Ditect and been done with it. A whole Presents for Mega Dragonite and some app games was rude.

@RudyC3 Exactly. It's from those "aside from Nintendo's 20+ exclusives, I don't even play Nintendo games" type people. They don't hear themselves sometimes. Nintendo is the company we most see in these types of headlines because people want to play their games so much.

Serves them right. The "I don't agree to your terms, so I'll just steal it" people are just asking for legal trouble, jail time, flogging, etc.

I keep posting this to whoever will listen:
Hitman, Split Fiction, Street Fighter, Yakuza, Tony Hawk, Wild Hearts S, WWE, and Madden are all above 32GB, so they should have been on the 64GB cards. WWE and Split Fiction are slightly above 64GB, but that doesn't mean they couldn't have optimized them more to fit. The publishers chose to go they key card route even though the 64GB cards made sense for these games, so they deserve their low sales. Hopefully Cyberpunk 2077 does well enough to show third parties what we want.

That Capcom Spotlight was painfully underwhelming.

@sethfranum So many people seem to think they have special eyes. It's a little embarrassing, to be honest.

@sdelfin Even Digital Foundry praised the screen while lamenting it not being OLED in their preview. They needed that specialized equipment to nitpick for the review.

@sdelfin That's because no one actually sees the "issue". They had to use specialized equipment and slow it down to 11% speed to see it, just to nitpick. People claiming they can see it only after it was pointed out by DF are BSing. If it was noticeable at all by the naked eye, DF and many others would have made it known weeks/months ago. I don't have a problem with it, and most people won't. Not many people in the world are going to be arguing about milliseconds. We just want to play fun games.

The name Killswitch was a little too accurate, huh? I went with the Mumba grip and case because the Satisfye grip and case still have not arrived. Mumba is serving me pretty well, all things considered.

Isn't the Switch 2 screen 120Hz? I'm only asking because it looks like the graphic posted on Twitter has it listed as 60Hz.

If you can't see these things while playing games regularly, they really don't matter. If you need specialized equipment just to nitpick, then you deserve to be unhappy.

If the Switch 2 screen is blurry, then I must be blind because it looks great to me. I'm not one to buy the latest 70 inch 8k tv with a $2000 gaming PC, so the Switch 2 is perfect for someone like me. I wonder how many people will try to spew revisionist history like they did after the initial hate for the original Switch.

All of the games that are on Switch with a physical release and Switch 2 with a key card should have an upgrade path from the Switch version or a Switch 2 native version. Hitman, Split Fiction, Street Fighter, Yakuza, and Tony Hawk are all above 32GB, so they should have been on 64GB cards. They were just being cheap and they deserve to suffer for it. Hogwarts Legacy 32GB cards on Switch with an upgrade path, like No Man's Sky, but they cheaped out. Hogwarts Legacy wasn't even fully on a Switch cart at its original release on Switch. With Civilization 7, an upgrade with the Switch cart would have been fine, but they instead decided that the Switch 2 version would be a download for some reason.

This game was much more playable on Switch 2.

@jsty3105 I don't trade or sell my games, and I don't see the point of needing the key card to play what is essentially already a digital game.

I'm avoiding Game Key Cards as much as I can. If I want one of those games, I'll probably just get it digitally, if I have space. I only bought Rune Factory and Cyberpunk at launch with the MK bundle.

It looks better than it did on the Switch, but it could be so much better than this.

It looks like Donkey Kong Odessey to me. Which is a good thing. It's really interesting that they went for actual voice acting (sorta) for this one. Now they just need to do the same with Pokémon.

@Yomerodes I know! I am finally able to play Darksiders 3 after all this time. I beat the first boss on the original Switch then gave up because of the performance. I kinda want to go back to Darksiders 2 and crank the graphics settings up too. I had to bottom out the graphics settings to finish the game because it kept crashing on the endgame bosses.

Good gamble. Hopefully their game is good; it looks like Chibi Robo and Pikmin aesthetically.

The star system is dumb. Gold is Gold.

Seriously though, I'm glad to see it. I hope Nintendo has a Direct this month to keep the hype train rolling, and I hope that hype can roll the Switch 2 to 100+ million units.

@mingyjongo I would have gone for a $550 bundle, but I wonder if the people complaining would have as well.

If it had OLED, it probably would have been $500 and $550 for the bundle. That would've resulted in even more noise-making and bellyaching. The screen is just fine and I can live with the $500 bundle.

Knockout Tour is probably the best mode, IMO. But there's something about doing donuts on the water at the beach resort in free roam that is soothing to me.

Now I'm hoping Nintendo again attempts to move the Pokémon IP forward without Game Freak. Buy them up if they have to, but let a competent dev take a crack at it, like Monolithsoft or even Capcom or Square Enix.

Now we know what Game Freak's best devs were doing.

Pocketpair flew too close to the sun with Palworld and Craftopia. They got away with Craftopia because they weren't trying to be the next big thing, but they screwed themselves over on Palworld. I do find it disheartening that people are so quick to villainize Nintendo, knowing that Palworld just makes unoriginal, ripoff games.

Who asked for a former Sony exec's opinion on Nintendo? Of course he's going to neg whatever "the competition" does.

I'm glad it is not $20 each. Does that mean we can expect $70 for BOTW and $80 for TOTK Switch 2 Editions?

It would be funny if it was a full $70 game, but it was literally just a 30+ hour Switch 2 exploration game.

$10 is negligible to the point that it should have been a pack in game.

They put in the work to get it on the cartridge, though. And at launch no less. I'm definitely buying it day one.
