It is printed on the box art. The wording is different for the UK and US text. I don't understand why it took news sites 3 days to see it. It is the first thing I noticed in the trailer.

@Medic_alert You are correct. It is unfortunately not in the direct. But it is is in the trailer for the games released the same day, which means it still isn't new.

This isn't new. It is printed on the box art and was clearly visible in the direct. I'm assuming that they are using the leftover stock of those games first, then the second run will likely be a true Switch 2 edition.

I thought this would happen eventually. It never really made sense for digital games to cost the same as physical. If they start releasing physical versions weeks or months after the digital versions, like Metroid Prime Remastered and Pikmin 1+2, physical games may slip into niche territory. Regardless, I still prefer physical when possible.

I took the day off just in case this would happen.

Mario Kart consistently ranks as one of the bestselling games of each Nintendo console since Super Mario Kart on the SNES. I think Mario Kart 9 will be okay.

Honestly, I don't think Nintendo cares about the mechanics. I still believe this is because of the blatant design ripoffs that Pocket Pair chose to include in Palworld. Nintendo is definitely being petty, but Pocket Pair should have known Nintendo wouldn't let them go without a fight because of those designs.

I'd rather have a sequel. Set in the same place in the future. The other towns people can vary somewhat based on who you married. I'd even prefer it over Haunted Chocolatier.

Pre-ordered mine. I've tried many grips for the Switch so far and the Satisfye grip was by far the best. I'm glad the initial design will be dockable this time.

Has there been any mention of a collector's or deluxe edition?

The obvious answer is money. You can buy all the experiences and present you want. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The Switch has the potential to be the best-selling console of all time. The Switch 2 has the potential to be the greatest console of all time.

I don't know what legitimate court would take a copyright infringing mod as support. Regardless, Palworld's devs should have tried to make it unique, rather than a Frankenstinian ripoff of various properties.

Unpopular opinion: Companies should be able to sue if they create unique game mechanics that other companies try to ripoff. Especially when those ripoffs closely imitate those mechanics and the aesthetic of the propert being ripped off. Some people need to grow some originality.

Absolutely yes. Expanding their online ecosystem is the way to go, and this is an unexpected but welcome addition.

We all know why that slider is gone. Nintendo knows what all of it degenerate fans will do with that bewb slider. 🤣

My issue with it that the devs got to go overboard with the bewb slider in XC2, cough cough Dahlia cough cough, so we know they aren't that prudish. They just don't want us degenerates to have it. I mean you degenerates... because I would never play with it or anything.

For one thing the top down games (BDSP) could've ans should've had Pokémon in the overworld, not just in the grand underground.

Further, I think they should limit generations to one per console like the GBA days. One new generation and one remake, with DLC and such instead of a third version. And on the ain't gonna happen list, I'd prefer a single game release like Legends, rather than the series norm.

Three of the biggest Japanese games of the year couldn't move PS5s in Japan. Yikes.

I feel like Devil's Third would've gotten a better reception if it released multiplatform. The game was definitely mid, but the media portrayed it as the worst thing ever when it released. It felt like it was part of the trend of ragging on the Wii U. If Wii U games weren't certified masterpieces, then they were lambasted.

I would've loved if they left this statement alone just to start a flame war. Regardless, Switch is my favorite console so far and I hope the sequel is even better.

I think it should've been an upgrade system rather than collecting every monster or item separately. Then a radial menu.

As long as the Switch is the current console, I couldn't care less what happens to these Swtich emulators. It's their own fault for promoting piracy of Switch games. We all know that's not all emulation is for, but that's all it's good for when the console is still active.

If Sony and Microsoft would enter the handheld market, I would jump at buying them. I literally don't have the space for a PS5 or XBOX Series, and I definitely don't have the time to play games in front of the TV for extended periods of time.

And no, the PS Portal does not count as a handheld.

Thinking about what Nintendo will probably do, $500 sounds like too steep of a price. $350-400 should be the target range, at least for a base model with 500 gb of storage. $500 for a deluxe 2tb model sounds reasonable.
