I hope no one's going around saying that it's too short of a time. That's half a decade. That's longer than the different between the releases of the Wii U and the Switch. That's literally a full console generation.

I'm gonna need Ultra Instinct level skills to dodge Pokémon and Xenoblade Chronicles spoilers at the same time. 😤

The only reason I would have to play this game is if Daisy is in it. So now I kinda have to play it.

Didn't we have doom and gloom for big Nintendo Directs only for them to come back again and embarrass all of the naysayers and false prophets before? I don't know why people still think they are going away. Directs are such a good idea that there are STILL companies falling in line and making their own direct-style events, both Sony and Microsoft included.

@PtM It would definitely have lower interest overall, but these types of games don't seem to have high sales either. They are for the men of culture after all, of which there are few. 😉🤣

I'm happy for this. I loved those shorts we used to get on the 3DS. The Kid Icarus ones were my favorite, though I don't think that was this same company.

@Yas There are definitely worse games on the Switch. And if you think there is not a market for massaging beautiful men, you better think again. Just because the game doesn't exist currently doesn't mean there's not a market for it. There's a reason those smut books like 50 Shades and 365 Days sell so well. Just because you don't want to make a beautiful man moan in bliss from a massage doesn't mean that the ladies and some of our LGBTQ+ friends don't want it either. 😏

@Royalblues I gave the Dark Souls demo on Switch a shot and Bloodbourne a few years ago. Coming from a big Monster Hunter fan, the Soulslike games aren't for me. I can't put my finger on it, but I just couldn't get into those games.

I'm still holding out hope that they are bringing Tomb Raider to the Switch as well.

@Royalblues Unfortunately it's just the first one, while the trilogy came out the same year on other consoles. 🥲

I'm somewhat interested, but the moving animations looked a little wonky and non-grid system alludes me. I'm wondering how much this game is going to be because SE keeps putting what I would consider budget titles in the premium bracket.

I really do hope that they never do this again.

I FINALLY GOT MY PREORDER! It took about 2 hours of waiting to get in once I got home from work.

The Xbox is outselling the PS5 in Japan!? 😱 I know it's still an uphill battle for Xbox Series that it'll never win in Japan, but at least it's doing better than the XBO did. Also, the Switch is still eating up the top 10! I love to see it.

Also also, does Nintendo have some vendetta against Geoff Keighley and Summer Game Fest? They don't seem to care about SGF at all.

Also, I'm in camp 29th direct because of that FE leak. Not 100% sure, but I'm hoping.

I saw Puff Pals: Island Skies in the thumbnail and I had to comment. That game is the most adorable thing I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. I'm hoping that it is as awesome as it is adorable and that it is at least more fun to play than late-game ACNH.

@Fizza I was thinking the same thing until I mistakenly saw one of the supposed leaked images from a new game. If it is real, I hope it's story is a little more cohesive than Three Houses.

I think we may still get a general Direct next week. I think they are waiting until afrer FEW Three Hopes to release so they can reveal a new FE game.

Never heard of this game but, if it runs natively on the Switch, I will buy it at release.

@ATaco @JasmineDragon I was going to say the same thing. Stardew Valley is great but it looks mighty similar to FoMT. I actually like the FoMT art style and character models more. Looking at older shots of this game, the only similarity I've seen is that the wooden walkway looked similar. The fences, buildings, animals, etc. looked a lot different from SV to me.

I don't think it'll do well against E3, but hopefully the competition makes both events better.

We've seen the Switch run all sorts of games and we've seen what this game is supposed to look like. If it "can't run" this game, that's solely on the developers.

GF knows what there doing. The champions, professors, gym leaders, and even some members of the evil teams have also gotten better looking over the years.

If one minor change in a so-so board has garnered this much ire, I can't wait to see the paragraphs long think pieces we will get about the other 47 tracks.

Hehe, sounds like part-timers salty about not being full-timers. That literally the norm in the US, so I'm not sure what they were expecting. It's difficult to get full-time work where I am, currently part-time myself, and we don't get anywhere near as many accommodations as the full-timers. Staff parking, wages vs salaries, benefits, etc. You can't expect full-time treatment as a part-timer and you can't just sit around and hope a full-time opportunity presents itself. If it is not presenting itself, then maybe it's time to move on. Don't make exaggerated claims that may hurt your employment prospects in the future.

In an effort not to release near Pokemon, it will instead be buried by Xenoblade 3.
