It's taken what feels like forever, but Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night finally has a solid release date.

The much-delayed title – which set crowdfunding records a few years back – will hit Nintendo Switch on June 25th, a little behind the PS4, Xbox One and PC editions, which all launch on June 18th.

Retail versions will follow on June 21st (PS4, Xbox One, PC) and June 28th (Switch).

The new trailer – posted above – shows the many visual improvements that have been made to the game over the past few months. The trailer even pokes fun at the flood of negative comments about how the game looks, with IGA stating he will prove the naysayers wrong. It's a cool touch.

Will this spiritual successor to Castlevania have been worth the wait? We don't have long to find out.
