One of the worst shows of all time (imho obviously, so nobody go crying about it). I have a hard time suspending my disbelief when there are such unrealistic speech patterns.

Same reason why Shakespeare being done by bad actors is impossible for me to enjoy, whereas when done by people who make it sound conversational make it feel realistic and relatable.

I ain’t buying that game anyway, though it’s because of the walking animation that makes me think they’ve never observed people in stride, rather than the body proportions that make me think they’ve never observed women whatsoever.

@Andy_Witmyer Great effort was put into making Divinity II engrossing and deep, which I can wholly appreciate. However, it is -IMO- über generic by Western RPG standards. I’m not saying it’s a garbage game... I’m just saying it doesn’t feel unique in aesthetic, gameplay or content. What’s there is plentiful and I’m sure there are lots of people who love that type of stuff- but that’s just the problem, I can say “that type of stuff” and people will likely understand what kind of “stuff” I’m referring to. Sorry I wasn’t clear in that first comment.

I feel like “performance problems” are becoming a staple of Switch releases of multiplatform games. Hell, companies that don’t have them should put it on the box as a bullet point. Just imagine: “A FTP open-world metroidvania roguelite FPS battle royale with no performance problems!”

The remake here is terrible... the original aesthetic is a large part of what set it apart from the competition. I mean, could you imagine if there were a remaster of Silent Hill 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360 where they just removed all of the fog? Right, Konami?

Its obviously a rhythm-based visual novel about the events leading up to the world ends with you featuring characters you never see in the game and ending with a twist that works in contradiction to the events of the game, as well as a poorly implemented pachinko mini-game where you can unlock crappy deviant art furries of the cast of the visual novel- but not the game proper. That’ll be 49.99, please.

@rockodoodle I appreciate the rec, but I really don't enjoy the perspective. I've had a hard time playing them since I was a kid. Like the original 2 GTA games- just couldn't get into it.

I’ve said it before, and I’m sure that enthusiasts don’t care, but... why does this genre still exist? Even back in 93 when I had a Genesis, top-down racers were stupid af. Pseudo-3d racers (like Road Rash, or Outrun) were where it was at. I just can’t wrap my brain around why people keep pumping this stuff out.

Not gonna lie, mostly use my Switch for Nintendo games. Third party titles are what I have a PS4 for. Well, and Bloodborne.

@Zuljaras i don’t think the game is necessarily bad, even though I do, I just don’t understand how someone can’t see how outclassed it is by a variety of other Metroid games.

Zelda II is my personal favorite of the series, though botw takes a close second place. I never understood the hate that z2 got. It was phenomenally more fun to play, with a bigger world and tighter combat than the first.

Edit: no matter this game looking janky, it intrigues me enough to give it a go when it releases.

EDIT: I bought Panzer Dragoon Saga back in 98 for $25, and had it until 2017 when I sold it for $600. 19 years. Playable the entire time. Screw cloud gaming.

It would be useful to see the sales figures in the west. Japanese tastes tend to be... a little different... from the west.

Those last two questions tells you that this guy doesn't really give a sith about the Switch. Cloud gaming just allows them to get more money for much less of an investmen. Remedy can shove it right back up their mudhole. I won't even buy this on PS4, now. On principle.

@NicheAbou I have it for PS4, and while it's alright, the story just doesn't suck me in. I feel almost no investment in finishing the story, other than "I wonder what monster is up next?" or "How do I get a better weapon?" Just my two cents.
