Re: Random: Where Does Hyrule Truly End In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild? Let's Find Out

Imagine a game in which you visit Hyrule’s neighboring kingdom, lowdran. The mcguffins are shiny sprites instead of shiny triangles. The legendary hero isn’t some kid from the woods but rather some corpse from the cemetery in the woods. Then they grab a sword of eternity from the shrine of forgetfulness and travel forward in time to a locale where there’s a foreboding moon overhead and werewolves on the ground! Can Link link the flame? Or will he give into the malaise like so many others?

@BreathingMiit damn right. I played the demo like a bunch of people, but that wasn’t enough to tell me if I wanted to pick the game up. I’ve barely played OPT, and picked that up on sale only due to the hype and a brief demo... kind of a waste of money for me.

@HeeHo My schedule allows me maybe 30-60 minutes of gaming a day, if I’m still awake enough to do so when I’m done with my work/family obligations. I understand if you’re looking to fill a weekend with something to do and you’re willing to pay full price to do so. I’ve learned to accept that the game will still be there later, and if I can save $20 to buy maybe 2 games instead of just one, I’ll do that. My back log includes some 100+ hour epics, so I’m booked until autumn quite frankly. I’m keen on picking this game up, but hey, it’ll be around later too.

Also preordering is a bad idea, as a customer. I did it once, with one game, and was let down. Getting my money back was possible, fortunately, but that’s often not the case. A little patience pays off.

Though who am I to say? Just some muppet faced internet guy.

Given the quality control or lack thereof that allows asset flip garbage or games laden with bugs (or in basement’s case- no ending) ending up on the eShop, it’s no surprise stuff like this ends up on other- more widely used- storefronts.

I wonder if the suits pushing things to the store for Apple or Google even play games?
