Capcom Broadcasting Resident Evil Showcase Next Week, Will Feature RE: Village And "More"

Hope we get some news for RE Revelations for Switch.

Looking forward to Village as well.

I just want more resident evil so much that I am willing to take the cloud versions of RE 2, 3 remakes and RE 7. I just want to play it. As long as Capcom keeps their servers handy and keep it as long as possible please.

But after what Capcom did with RE 7 cloud version and it seemed a lot of people didn't like it because of the lag, maybe there won't be a cloud version. I hope Capcom can try to port RE 7 natively instead. Capcom can port the OG RE 2 and 3 thats fine. It will give them less work to do as well.

It would be nice to have Revelations 3 shown if it really exists.

Wish they would revisit RE Outbreak. Yes, I know Resistance exists, but its gameplay is fundamentally different from what Outbreak did, and Outbreak didn't get much of a chance to shine since it was locked to the PS2.

@Sabrewing There is a multiplayer RE title coming out for ps4 and xbox one.

After how resistance did. I don't think capcom will revisit the outbreak series

@idrawrobots Well, RE games has always had their appearance on Switch. If you read the article and not just assumed, you would get it.

Not paying big bucks for cloud versions, I understand digital as if you download them you can still play them without Internet but with cloud versions you constantly need an Internet connection.

Hoping for something actually coming to Switch. And not in cloud form. RE Revelations 3 would be nice! I loved the first, and quite enjoyed the second.

I think, as a Japanese company, Capcom kinda has to produce some more Switch games from this point onwards. Especially now that their RE Engine has been tweaked for the switch.

And they're already showing their support with the monster hunter games. And Ghost and Goblins.

So it's logical a Resident Evil game follows suit?

You know what I would I consider a megaton announcement from Capcom regarding Resident Evil? Gyro support for Resident Evil 4.

I still haven't purchased RE4 for Switch because of that omission.

I doubt that anything will be shown for Switch, cloud versions of other games perhaps, but the focus will be on Village here. I reckon all their attention will be on Monster Hunter for the foreseeable future.

@Friendly possibly Resident Evil franchise is Capcom bighest franchise along side Mega Men , Street Fighter and Monster Hunter, so i imagine after the anouncemt/release of the Ghost e Globlin remake e Monster Hunter Rise, a Resident Evil made specially for Switch is the next game Capcom is gonna do for Switch.

I'll catch the news later (probably on this site lol). I'm not convinced this is for Switch players.

I still need to play through the first Revelations games. I bought them and will eventually.

I'd love to see Revelations 3 reveal (if it happens to be true), even if it's coming next year. Also it'd be really nice to have RE VII, 2 and 3 coming to Switch, now Capcom knows how RE Engine works on Switch (it does wonders!). I'd also be happy if they were just cloud versions of those games, tbh. Rather be not, but it would be something.

By the way, what about Devil May Cry 4 and DMC, Capcom?

@Giancarlothomaz Nope. The next one will be Monster Hunter Stories 2, which is apparently coming out in June.

If panic button can get both Doom games running on the Switch, then Resident evil 7 should be no trouble at all.

Not gonna support cloud games. Realistically there won't be anything for the switch but I hope it's revelations 3. Not to bothered by the the resi 2 and 3 remakes coming anymore since I caved and got them on the PS4.

Capcom see's numbers of downloads MHR demo got, then realises, "possible gold mine on Switch!? Best rush that Resi Switch project we had on the back burner the last 4 years".

@anoyonmus Yeah my prediction is they'll throw in OG RE 2 & 3 for the Switch because that is very easy money. They already released RE 0, 1, 4, 5, and 6 so to me it makes sense as a "throwing a bone to the Switch" to toss those in. Especially since it's most likely the Switch won't get the remakes of RE 2 & 3 (at least not in cloud format if that ends up happening which I hope it doesn't).

Well RE outbreak cant be as bad as Gameboy RE. Hope it runs at RE engine like MH Rise

I don't mind digital games, but I really don't like this trend towards cloud games if rumors about RE3 are true.

@the_beaver i see, kinda of forget about the game given that Capcom is heavily pushing Resident Evil e tradicional Monster Hunter(Resident Evil 8 Village e Monster Hunter Rise in that regard), so i expect the anouncemt of the rumored Resident Evil game build for ground up for Switch in this broadcast, specially now that Monster Hunter Rise use a custom version of the RE Engine, imagine a Resident Evil made specially for Switch with HD Rumble suport and the custom version of the RE Engine Capcom is using in Monster Hunter Rise, Resident Evil Revelations on 3DS was the best looking 3DS game, now with a Resident Evil made specially for Switch, this game is gonna be along with Luigi Mansion 3, Monster Hunter Rise, the best looking Switch game.

I want more RE on switch. If there isn't, I am excited to see how RE Village will play
