Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Following on from the incredibly enticing demo for Kirby and the Forgotten Land (which is out now, by the way), the first review for the full game has been published by Edge Magazine, and it's looking pretty positive!

The full review will be available in issue 370 of the magazine, but excerpts of the verdict have been added onto ResetEra (thanks, VGC!) with the game receiving an impressive 8/10.

While the publication stresses that "those who’ve never understood the appeal of Kirby are unlikely to be convinced by his move into 3D", it nevertheless sings the game's praises, stating that it may well be the perfect palate cleanser after the grim, brutal world of Elden Ring.

It goes on to state that the "compact, imaginative adventure is a low key triumph, a work of great craft and wit that, unlike its lead, doesn’t bite off more than it can chew and it only leaves you hungry for more."

We like the sound of that. Keep your eyes peeled for our own review of Kirby's next outing very soon. Be sure to let us know in the comments below if you're excited for the game, and check out our deep, scientific analysis of Kirby's animosity towards a literal tree.
