It's available to pre-order as we speak over on Funstock (links below) and includes a 3-in-1 slipcase with original artwork, two plushies, an acrylic standee, and even a 'DIY Tentacle Kit' which appears to simply be a pair of stockings.
It costs £89.99, but you can also order an 'Ultimate' version of the same pack that includes all three Gal*Gun games on Switch for £119.99. Both versions are expected to ship in March.

Why does the tentacle kit just look like some long tights socks?
Can't see me wearing them tbh, il ask the misses 😂
Any otaku would be thrilled to have this DIY tentacle kit. But it could be a gateway to liking 3D girls and cheat on their 2D girlfriend(s).
I assume that the DIY Tentacle Kit fits 12 years old girls.
EXCUSE ME, A DIY WHAT
There just isn't enough games out there that come with a DIY Tentacle Kit, it's good that SOME companies out there know what the fans really want
Honestly a slip case for all 3 games is a good idea, since if you are getting this you more than likely have the other 2.
@Max_the_German very likely fits my third leg... but alas I won't be buying this tempting as it is.
Still, NEVER CHANGE pqube
@SuperZeldaFun My initial reaction is to argue against you and any sort of censorship but you are of course 100% correct in what you say. I like sexy anime girls as much as the next pervert but you are clearly right, we need to do better than this. You can't just draw a school girl and then say in the character bio she is actually 18 so everything is fine. I'm no prude but this sort of thing really shouldn't exist in this day and age.
@SuperZeldaFun I love anime myself and must watch a season a week but I do wonder about this a few times.
Japan's main culture is anime/manga/video games and has been for many years so to them this is normal, what is also normal for them is that their law states the age of consent at 14, they are even allowed to marry their own family members (cousins and half siblings) to keep the business in their family name etc so to the people of Japan this is acceptable and no law against it.
So if anything it's down the the US and Western individual laws which maybe bypass theses games due to their "creators" countries laws. Games like this have been around since the PlayStation 2 and nothing has been said or done by western PEGI board so there must be something we don't know.
What would be interesting is if a western developer such as EA or Ubisoft made a game like this, would it be allowed?
Ah, a fellow developer of culture.
@Fizza LOL this is the appropriate and hilarious response!
Definitely getting this, lol
Can one of the sexy ladies here buy this set and the other set and model the "Tentacles" and the "Goggles?"
@SuperZeldaFun Bit what if someone was racist and homophobic but liked young anime girls? Wouldn't that be discrimination towards them?
@UltimateOtaku91 We better not show him the 18+ version of pretty much any visual novel. I swear people on this site would die if they saw them, lol
I watch too much animé... That is not what I thought of when I heard Do it yourself tentacle.
I thought it was going to be a snap together model piece.
The only animé I've seen are:
Noir
Devil Hunter Yohko
Cutey Honey
Gundam Wing
Speed Racer
Astroboy
Shin Chan
Chobits
RoboTech
Macross
MegaZone 23
InuYasha
Puni puni Poemy
Excel Saga
I think I missed a few, not many, in my list.
What in the name of goddess Hylia did I just see
@Spider-Kev you don’t talk to many lassies, do ye?
@PessitheMystic
Just :
My girlfriend, a girl that wants to be my girlfriend, my daughter, my ex, my sister, my neighbor and my mom, and all the various girls when I go shopping.

@PtM
The other set has Goggles...
Haha.
Why is the DIY Tentacle Kit a pair of stockings? Kinda reminds me of back in the day when Najica Blitz Tactics first released on DVD, and the special edition actually came with wearable panties.
I'm not a big fan of fanservice in general, but I do sometimes enjoy its integration into comedy and, IMO, that is all it it really is in the Gal Gun games: low-brow humor that it treated with tongue firmly tucked in cheek.
I also enjoy the light-hearted willingness to offend and shock exhibited by the localizers. It's something I really appreciate in these increasingly humorless times.

First came the SNESticle and now the Tentacle. I’m done. I can’t any more.
EDIT: I’ll be back, I still love NintendoLife
@Solomon_Rambling I'll go with #3 😂
I want this, looks great!
@Ralizah It’s mostly just the irony that these come with traditionally feminine underwear that gets me. I mean, let’s face it, the general audience isn’t exactly going to get much wear out of it.
@nessisonett I've wondered about this on occasion (mostly the drunk and bored ones). Like, sans light cross-dressing, most of the people who bought that would just hide them in embarrassment, right? How many 20/30-something guys have had to deal with their mothers finding those panties stuffed under their beds?
If I had a Switch , I would get this. Just love these of the wall games Japan produces. , yes some will see it as perverted, butits Japan culture and is based on Hentai, which I know some is banned in some countries. But is it any different to Angus in the Atari Jaguar game Kasumi Ninja unleashing a fire ball from underneath his Kilt. Hahaha
@nessisonett I think that's exactly the point... It wouldn't be very fitting or stimulating to include a manly cargo pants, now would it? You just need to use your imagination a bit
@Rinyuu I’m not sure I really want to know how it’s ‘stimulating’ personally.
@WCB I think you are the only one in this comment section that understands how the DIY is mainly intended to be used xD
Ok this kit is awesome, I don’t play gal gun, but I have always loved there kits, there always just, funny!
@nessisonett Then I think you're exactly not the target audience for this game! I'm mainly over the plushies though, they're so cute
@UltimateOtaku91 No, we all know if ea or Ubisoft did it, everyone would be fighting for the rights of some fictional characters, instead of the real thing.
@Snatcher If you like what you see in the trailers you should give these games a go, they are fun ^_^
@Rinyuu Its kinda difficult to dance around the subject of the DIY set actually is for when you try not get your comment deleted for being inappropriate
@Tobiaku Oh I will, one day, there is going to be that one Gal gun game, Im just waiting for the right moment.
DIY tentacle kit
NOPE NOPE NOPE SO MUCH NOPE!!!!
@JustMonika ...lol. Everyone here acts like anime boobs are the worst thing ever. Blood and gore are totally fine, though.
Anyways I heard these games were kinda "meh" anyways. Still wished we could get some of the main Senran Kagura games on Switch instead. T.T
The original PS4 / Vita version of this game was banned in New Zealand for basically being child exploitation.
Just sayin'
@JJtheTexan The Australian ratingboard is overbearing anyway. Not everyone has the cash to resubmit their game to grt reviewed multiple times. We happy few and Disco elysium was banned there at first, and Hotline miami may still be banned 🤷🏼♀️
@Joeynator3000 These games are not meh.
But I agree main Senran Kagura would be cool. Would love to see 7even get released on Switch!
I... really don't understand the appeal of these sorts of games, let alone the fact that this is now the THIRD (?) installment on Switch.
I get the appeal of something like Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 (which I own and have played a fair bit), but this is just... gross, and I fail to see how any man can be... enamored by the shrill, infantile shrieking and moaning from the girls (if the trailers are anything to go by). I understand that there are different strokes, but this nevertheless eludes me.
There is also a very strange incongruity in Western discourse regarding the sexualisation of young women and girls (where barely-pubescent girls are sexualised while young women are infantilised), and I have grave concerns about where we are heading in that regard, but that is a whole other conversation for another forum. It's almost funny considering that there seems to be a push to normalise standards that are more consistent with Abrahamic religions regarding proper decorum (and boundaries) between the sexes, but these standards cannot be upheld when other forms of permissiveness are pushed in areas that are fundamentally incompatible with the principles of these faiths. I guess it's true when they say that the more things change, the more they stay the same.
@Xiovanni : Interesting. The NZ classification board has in fact dubbed it to be "objectionable", which is funny because PEGI issued a relatively paltry 16 rating (and the same for the last game as well).
@nessisonett That's what you think!
Gal Gun 2 was pretty fun so I may give this a try. I do think the "diy tentacle kit" is kind of lame though. You can just head to amazon and order them if you want some stockings. A different design to fit the game would have gone a long way to make this a worthy inclusion in this special edition.
@Rinyuu hey, I'm a creative person 😉
@Spider-Kev I've watched 160 shows since January 2019 and the only you listed that I've watched is Chobits. I own it and love it. Go check out Konosuba if you want to die laughing.
@Ralizah or their wives/girlfriends, lol
@Joeynator3000 Then I guess hardcore threesome H scenes with very young looking catgirls would be deemed inappropriate as well? (Nekopara) 😆
@JustMonika To be fair, their list is largely 80s/90s classics. Some slightly newer and a few much older.
Also, 160?! That's so many! Do you really keep track of the exact number or is that just a rough estimate?
@JustMonika @Lyricana
I prefer real art compared to fully CG or CG enhanced.
It used to take talent to draw and now... Well... It all looks very... Samey...
@JustMonika
As I said earlier, I felt like I was missing some...
Go-Lion
Lupin the 3rd
Magi: Labyrinth of Magic
Magi: Kingdom of Magic
I know there are still more missing that I've seen...
@Lyricana They probably have an account on an anime catalog site like MyAnimeList or Kitsu that keeps track of the shows they've watched.
@Lyricana Actually today I received Kakegurui, Kakegurui XX, Rent-a-Girlfriend, When Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace and Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III in the mail and I started Kakegurui so it's 161 now. I've been laughed at because that's how much some people watch yearly with anime, not in 3 years, lol
@Kirbo100 Yes.. I keep track on MAL and recently went through and wrote down a comprehensive list of shows I've watched. Haven't counted how many anime films I've watched though.
@JustMonika Kakegurui is an interesting show. Haven't watched XX yet but I've seen the first season and fairly enjoyed it.
I think I've only watched two anime movies fully lol. Steins;Gate The Movie - Load Region of Déjà Vu and Bayonetta: Bloody Fate.
Edit: Forgot about the Animal Crossing movie lol
@JustMonika I certainly wouldn't laugh at you for watching a lot (or too little) anime. I just don't know how people find the time! I think I may have watched maybe 4 (for a total of 63 episodes, though that might actually be 50 because I think one of them was probably the year before) all the way through last year. I have such a big list of stuff I'm excited to watch, but I feel like I never get around to it. I thought I was doing pretty well watching that much! Heh.
You mentioned all those arrived in the mail. Do you use a rental service or do you buy and collect?
@Kirbo100 I've seen quite a few movies over the year. Most of the Studio Ghibli films, all Shinkai Makoto films (my favorite is 5 Centimeters per Second), all the classic popular ones (Ghost in the Shell, Akira, etc) and a bunch of random other ones.
@Kirbo100 That funny because Steins;Gate is what turned me into an anime fanatic. I absolutely love Load Region of Deja Vu. Can't wait to see what the hell the Steins;??? Project is all going to be about.
@Lyricana I saw Weathering with You in theaters and own all his movies. Good stuff. I work 3 nights a week in a hospital on their transplant unit and currently I'm on an 18 day break so time is what I have a ton of since I have no responsibilities outside of work. Anime, visual novels and video games is my thing and also the industries surrounding them. So I can watch an entire series everyday if I want when it's not a work night. I'm about to drop $4000 to get a full car wrap themed after Aqua from Konosuba, lol. That'll be exciting.
@Lyricana I buy anime on blu ray but also stream using Funimation. Initially I would only buy anime without even have watched it because I want to support the industry. Then last year I decided to start a Funimation subscription. Now with Sentai Filmworks / HiDive, I just buy their stuff outright to show my full support since they're located here in Houston and I'm friends with alot of voice actresses from the area such as Brittney Karbowski and Christina Kelly. Found out from Brittney herself that we were born at the same hospital. I've considered getting into voice acting but I enjoy helping people and saving lives in the hospital too much.
@Kirbo100 Despite just becoming an anime fanatic in December 2018, my first exposure was watching the Ghost in the Shell anime movie in 1998.
@JustMonika It's nice you have the time and resources to enjoy your hobbies in between your important work! I always want to dive more into mine, but I get too caught up in other nonsense usually to watch/read/play the stuff I'm into. Still, I get through some of it!
An update on this: there's been a pretty sizable delay in the shipment of the LE of this game. The game will be releasing on March 17th, however the LE is hoping to launch the week of April 11th. The hold up seems to be due to the plushies. As per the email Funstock sent me:
"The plushies which are included in the Collector's Edition are expected to arrive with us later than originally expected.
Our plushie supplier is working as quickly as possible to get the stock to us. However, due to revisions that needed to be made, it has added extra time to our manufacturing process. "
