Turn-based tactical strategy game Space Hulk will be hitting the North American Wii U eShop on May 2nd.
Based on the Games Workshop board game, Space Hulk sees you taking control of a team of Space Marine Terminators tasked with boarding derelict spaceships and ridding them of the alien Genestealer menace contained within.
The game's single player campaign is based on the "Sin of Damnation" Space Hulk campaign, and includes 3 new prequel missions and the 12 missions from the original board game. Speaking of which, the multiplayer mode aims to recreate the head-to-head feel of the board game with hot-seat play on a single console.

Europe? Wouldn't mind checking this out used to be a big Warhammer 40K fan as a kid.
Excited to see a review for this. Love me some Turn Based Games
Day one!
Nice! I'll grab this if it isn't priced outrageously. Especially if there is nothing good on the VC that week.
Cool, that looks pretty neat. Gotta get back to Advance Wars and the Fire Emblem games. Nice to have so much turn-based strategy to play!
Finally. Really looking forward to this.
The narration should have been David Keith (or is that Keith David?, the narrator for war documentaries!)
Anyone know the price?
So is the DLC included or purchasable separately?
Nice, this is the kind of game I'd want a Gamepad for. I'm guessing it'll be $20. Might be a little stiff, especially with tax, but I might grab it regardless. Would be nice if they had a "first week" 10% discount, though - then I could get it with one pre-paid card...
EDIT: or maybe $30, looking at the Steam Price. I don't think I'll be able to afford it until June, then...
Totally forgot about this game. It does look good. I still say this reminds me of the friedly aliens from the beginning of The 5th Element. It's just the way they move and sound in those mech outfits.
Holy smokes, this game was meant for the gamepad. If done right of course
Will purchase.
Interested but price may dictate me waiting.
Turn-based? At some point my Amiga was just a Laser Squad machine, I'd be all over a remake of that.
A Warhammer game on WiiU?! This is a good sign!
Neat, I was afraid they ha canned the whole thing from Wii U, looking forward to it!
Reviews for the PC version and its actual price are not attractive at all. I'll surely save my money for S.T.E.A.M. (still one month to go...)
If only Space Marine wason the Wii U, still this is as good as it gets, perhaps Death Wing will also come?
looks pretty cool
If it's any good I love that style of game!
@CanisWolfred
$20 would be iffy for me. $30 forget it. I love 40K, but I'd rather buy a box of models for that much money.
When's the European release?
This is a day one purchase if the review is positive.
@BertoFlyingFox Yeah makes me want to listen to some Bolt Thrower, lol.
Seriously, I didn't know about this game until now. Looks pretty damn cool, never been a Games Workshop frequenter myself.
@NESlover85 Not sure where you can buy a full set + extra units + a friend with enough units for a decent game for $30...in fact, I don't think you can buy a squad for that much money. Plus, the toys don't move...
This related to the 3do game?
Tempting, I will never buy figures (they change the system every few years to make people spend another few thousand on new armies), but the video games have been decent.
Definitely get this when it hits Europe.
Never played the board game but did love 40k. Haven't played that for ages but still have my Crimson Fists and Dark Angels!
If it is anything like the board game, the strategy is Risk-tier. Fairly dull game in my limited experience with the first three or four missions. Nothing wrong with a simple, luck heavy game if you're into that, but I don't know that Advance Wars / Fire Emblem comparisons should be expected. The board game is not anywhere close to that kind of strategy game.
BTW, release date is TBD on Nintendo's website now. Might've actually been a mistake in the first place...
