Bought this on sale for the original Switch, and it sat in my backlog for years. Now this remake gets announced, and I'm enticed to get it with that 30% discount. Now, this update appears and an additional 20% discount. I'm definitely getting this now.

I chose "ASAP" but it's really for as soon as it goes on sale. Got too many backlog games. Only 3D Mario, Zelda, and mainline Pokemon can skip my backlog line for day one purchases.

@Dm9982 Yeah. I mainly got this game because it looked like Fantasy Life and was expecting that kind of experience. I booted it up for about 10 minutes and haven't touched it since.

Love the art style on this one. Will be adding to the Wishlist as soon as possible.

I have the original Switch version in my backlog. I hope there's a way to upgrade to this remake or get it at a discount like Yooka Replaylee did.

I'm having too much fun with Skyrim Anniversary Edition right now to even worry about Elden Ring. Just started the Dawnguard DLC and will tackle the Dragonborn expansion after that.

Never used it before. The online games I have are Splatoon 3 and Smash Bros, and I don't have anyone on my friend list to play those with.

The movie was made for longtime fans of the series who will understand the Easter Eggs and references from the games. And that fits my description perfectly.

That'll make 10 years between a new 3D Mario release.

The only reason I'd get a PS5 is to play Kingdom Hearts 4 or Horizon Zero Dawn 3, so I hope prices will go down when those games get released.

The funny part about all of this is I never saw Nintendo's post about Fox being in the movie. It was Nintendo Life that spoiled it for me, and then other news outlets posted about it after.

It's a 10/10 for me. I absolutely adored these games when they first released on the DS. This is a day one purchase for me!

How tone deaf of Nintendo to "upgrade" a game with the exact thing it didn't need: multi-player. An additional single player campaign, Koopaling bosses, a resolution and fps bump, and maybe a few mini challenge courses was all it needed. Nintendo is missing out on my purchase and many others because of this underwhelming update they produced.
