If an upgrade ever does happen i promise it won't be called switch pro. That's too boring a name for Nintendo.

I'd gladly take a battle network collection! Oh and please include the one on Gamecube. I know it is vastly different from the handheld games but I really enjoyed it. It's like a mashup of battle network and the classic series and it's a really underrated game.

In the end gaming is gaming and no matter who you think has the better stuff it's all the same hobby. If you're only doing it on one companies devices you're doing it wrong. I never paid one lick of attention to these so called console wars. I just saw a commercial or a magazine about games and when i noticed one that looked fun or cool I'd rent it or beg my mom to buy it.

Can't believe there are still people asking that. This isn't 1991. Nintendo has had many blood and gore filled games on their systems since then. Razor's edge on Wii U was gruesome, vulgar and just as violent as it was on the other platforms. No worries.

The only problem the motion controls ever gave me was bomb rolling and that Balancing game in the Lumpy pumpkin place. Okay maybe the skydiving minigame was a nightmare too but other than that it's all good! Combat was never an issue for me.

I like Minish cap also but the only thing that kinda sucks is there's only 4 dungeons. The rest is just filler. Notice how so many Zeldas lately have so few dungeons? What happened to the days of Link to the past and OOT when they typically had 8 or more dungeons? BOTW Even only had 4 main ones and the rest was side crap.

Brilliant maybe but still flawed. I always felt like Link's awakening was far superior. It's more well structured, flows better overall and the dungeons are mostly easily solved. Some of the ones in the Oracle games really had me scratching my head. I felt like Capcom sorta made these games feel off somehow.

What somebody needs to explain to me is why a wonderboy game stars a girl? Shouldn't it be wonder girl?

Either way looks great to me! It's like She's the original Shantae!

Why this and Ocarina of time are not already available on switch is beyond me! For shame Nintendo!

What's next? Nintendo announces it's going out of business? 😳

My 11 year old self would be in Turtle heaven with this game! I got TMNT 3:The manhattan project for my birthday in 1990 and played the hell outta it! Also played turtles in time soooooooo much! Man it's been a while since they had a good turtle beat em up!

Since I've never been a huge final fantasy fan and not particularly great at complex RPG's I'd probably enjoy mystic quest. I always avoided it because the hardcore fans told me to. Would you say it was simplistic in the same way as Mario RPG or Chrono trigger? I love those two!

So why bring up mario RPG? It's like the mother series. Just Another beloved RPG that will never again get a true sequel. Might as well tell us about the latest Ness action figure or sticker collection that has nothing to do with a new game announcement.

Even if BOTW was your first zelda game surely nobody thinks it was always like that. I honestly think the more focused linear structure is better overall. Especially for zelda games. I for one get too distracted by all the side tracking to ever finish these open world games and with zelda you kinda want to get on with the story. I mean Ganon isn't going to defeat himself right?

How can you be the hero of hyrule if you're off lollygagging somewhere instead of ridding the land of evil?

I'm just glad people who couldn't get the hang of those motion controls will finally get to play this game and not want to throw it under a bus simply over the controls. It deserves better than that. It's one of the series best!

It's the zelda that hooked me to the series in the first place! The first two just didn't click with me. I was very young and just liked watching others play but they were too hard for me. Heck they still are! Yeah i played Link to the past too but i didn't love it like i loved Link's awakening!

I don't know what it is. There's just something special about it. It's got a goofy charm and it's the one i couldn't put down. Plus that ending oh man what a mind blower! Still get chills everytime!

I do really enjoy the game! I just hate that stupid cone head hat he's wearing. Looks rediculous.

Scary to think we'll be talking about the switch successor soon. Nintendo systems typically last about 5 years. Yikes that went fast!

Hey guys quick question. My Wii U has been soft modded. Is it safe to update or should I not? If it's only stability it's probably not worth it anyway right? I only did it on the virtual Wii side if that matters.

I still have my original 3DS. Been thinking about finally upgrading to a 3DS XL. Would you guys say it's time to mod the old girl? Yes my 3DS is a lady LOL!

I'm just not sure if modding will get me banned from the eshop but at this point does Nintendo care? Since the 3DS is retired and all.

Bring it on! I loved this game! The story, The visuals, the music which btw is the first time the series had an orchestrated soundtrack. (Not that boring ambient crap from BOTW) Oh and it's got wait for it....actual Dungeons!

I never was crazy about this series. I played the one on Nes back in the day and died in like two seconds and said nope! Turned it off and put in mario instead.

Lately it's like I'm more patient with these type of games than I used to be so I've actually finally started to see why people like them. I might give this a try. Glad it's more accessible to those who may not be the most skilled.

I have no idea what they may have planned but I'm pretty sure OOT, TP and WW will at some point be playable on switch. Maybe before the year is out.

As for BOTW 2 yeah that ain't releasing until the switch is on it's way out at the earliest. That probably gives us well over a year. Possibly even longer.

So were there any super famicom games better than the USA versions or did they have extra sound channels on there like with Nes?

I've recently been looking into patching my favorite nes games with the these hacks. Metroid has one where you can fix the character sprite to look closer to her later design from super metroid. With that and the added map plus the famicom soundtrack and saving it's the perfect version! The original felt so rushed and what were they thinking not adding a map?

I Know Wind waker and Twilight princess and good old ocarina of time is what most people probably would rather have had on switch. I'm glad it turned out to be skyward sword though! I love this one! Great music and story which btw canonically is supposed to be the origin of the whole series so it's pretty important!

People just really seemed to struggle with the controls and that's probably people's biggest issue with it.

Remember the first reveal when the controls went haywire while they were showing the first gameplay at E3 that year? LOL not the best presentation.

Can't wait to play this in glorious HD!

I know this game isn't exactly popular with star fox fans but I loved it! It was cool that it was basically a zelda clone with star fox characters and even though it started out having nothing to do with star fox the end result on gamecube was pretty neat! This is one of the best games on the cube if you ask me!

Next tell us when someone beats the entire game with their tongue! Anyway speaking of those shrines (which aren't the same as dungeons in the first place guys above making jokes)

Let's hope BOTW 2 or whatever it's called has actual places that would qualify as dungeons. There were a grand total of 4 in BOTW and i think alot of fans really missed having those.

See this is why i like skyward sword better. For one it has dungeons and a story oh and real zelda music not just sounds of wind blowing or ambient noises.

I went to see the original in the theater as a teen and thought it was the coolest thing ever! To this day it's probably still my favorite game movie of all time! It's a 90's cheese fest for sure now but seeing it at the time when MK was everywhere and at the peak of it's popularity was pretty neat!

That first trailer from the original where it shows sub-zero running up the wall and doing a back flip was awesome!

This reboot looks alright i guess. Certainly it will have some thrilling fight scenes and be a fun couple hours of watching guys and gals beating the crap outta eachother. I just hope it's not a movie of nothing but fight after fight with a paper thin plot and cornball humor.

Surely they can do better than MK annihilation. Talk about a disaster!

Of course it's good. Maybe even great! None of the zelda games made by Nintendo are bad. Some less fun than other's but there's not a truly bad one in the bunch. Not counting side games at least.

Don't get your hopes up people. We might get a tiny peek but it'll be very doubtful that you'll be satisfied.

Just give me some news on No more heroes 3, Bayonetta 3, Ryu Hayabusa for smash or that rumored Ninja Gaiden modern trilogy and a new Zelda compilation or all new game! That's all I need!

If they were really nice a tiny bit of metroid prime 4 footage couldn't hurt.

I always liked this one! It's one of wiiwares hidden gems! Too bad that recent switch space invaders compilation didn't include it. Big oversight if you ask me.
