Dang. The guy who made my favorite childhood memories is gone. Now I really do feel old. My two favorite game systems ever were created by this man. Rest in peace.

Well duh. Otherwise you couldn't call this one ultimate anymore. Just like ultimate mortal Kombat. It still has the biggest roster of all.

Ah the first game console I bought with my own money! Loved the Library, the controller and those adorable mini discs! Now let's get these games on switch!

No of course it shouldn't expand. I love waiting years for two or three decent games.

They wonder why everyone would just as soon emulate.

I just love how upon their original release these games were praised to high heaven glitches, bugs and all. As soon as they released on modern consoles just about as buggy as they always were everyone rips them to shreds.

Whatever at least rockstar is trying to make them better. The effort alone makes it more likely that I'll pick it up on switch when it's available physical that is.

Speaking of which how bout someone get Kotor on switch physically? This digital only crap especially for a game like that needs to stop.

I've seen those shirts that say "real men wear pink" I suppose you could say real men have purple GameCubes. I kinda regret my shunning of the purple one now.

I actually never owned the purple one. I chose Jet black right out of the gate at launch because purple just put me off. Would the Nes or SNES had flied off the shelves like they did if they had been purple instead of gray? I kinda doubt it. Sorry I Know it makes me look sexist but a boy does not want a purple game system. It would have been seen as sissy and girly. I was an adult when GameCube came out and still I chose the black. It just looked more respectable and cool honestly. I mean imagine if they had a Gamegirl instead of Gameboy. Hardly any boys would have wanted one purely on the name alone.

These days however sure I wouldn't mind having a purple one. I'd like the red and blue switch joycons too.

Oh good! I don't have internet right now and I don't know when I will be able to afford it at the moment so I'm glad the physical option will be a thing. I hate it when games are digital only. Yeah I'm a dinosaur of the yesteryears of gaming but I like my games physical. It's Kotor who wouldn't want physical? Am i right y'all?

I hate when ports of old games come out and all the reviewers want to talk about is dated design or how ugly the game is by today's standards. It's supposed to be like that it's an old game! Duh! Chances are if you liked it originally when it was new you'll still like it. If you are too young to remember it or never liked it you still won't. Not that complicated people.

Forget a donkey Kong movie. How bout a new game? Ain't it messed up how the switch still doesn't have one?

Well that sucks. Stupid cloud. Is switch really so weak that it couldn't handle a couple PS2 games? I knew KH3 wasn't likely but what a Jip!

Sora is a great choice! So kingdom hearts collection confirmed for switch then? It's kinda strange to have sora when no main games from the series are on Nintendo yet. Still need to finish KH 3.

Great game and probably one of Wii's best hidden gems! I'm glad it will get more recognition now that it's coming to switch.

I'm glad Nintendo still cares to include a single player story mode when all these other shooters like Call of duty are like people don't want story mode. They just want always online multiplayer shooters. Single player is so Last decade.

Yeah well some of us like playing by ourselves or we just don't have enough friends to make it worthwhile. Playing online with total strangers just isn't the same even if you can talk with a mic to each other.

Well no duh! It's called progress and you can't stop it as long as people are creating new technology.

Says you. Pretty cheap by my experience and I've been playing them since they launched. Anything with stairs and Medusa heads coming at you from both directions while bone dragon pillars are shooting fireballs at you is pretty damn cheap. Maybe I'm not the Castlevania god you are. I still like the games but never enjoyed them as much as the metroidvania style games.

Circle of the moon was a gba launch title so yeah it's a bit rough.

Well they made sure to trash Dracula X as is standard among most who played Rondo first but at least the main 3 in the collection got the praise they deserved.

I admit it's cheap sometimes. About as cheap as CV 1 and 3. Feels Nes hard. still love the graphics and music though. I believe the worst in the series is Castlevania adventure on Gameboy.

Stop calling Dracula X mediocre! It really isn't. For a Snes Castlevania it's pretty good. Maybe not Super Castlevania IV good but not the turd everyone makes it out to be because it isn't Rondo. Don't think of it as a lesser version of Rondo. It's too different to be a port of that game.

Anyway yeah all the GBA ones are great! No question about that.

Wow how many times have I seen the phrase poor switch port? Don't know if I should blame lazy developers or the hardware. I Know switch is capable of amazing seemingly impossible visuals but constantly seeing poor switch port is getting old.

Are you suggesting they make a Castlevania with Nintendos involvement? Now as cute as that sounds I don't think it's a good fit and wouldn't make a Castlevania game any better.

Lords of shadow mirror of fate on 3DS was pretty good.

Yes I want a new Castlevania game! Not a bloodstained game or other such spiritual successor. An actual Castlevania game and it better not be a mobile game either Konami! You had no trouble pumping out new games every 3 to 5 years before so why the dead franchise now?

On a side note I need to finally play Lords of shadow 2. I don't get the hate for the mercurysteam games. They are actually pretty good if you can stop thinking of them as God of war clones. Everybody loves Metroid dread so why was everyone hating on them for Castlevania?

Anyway yeah somebody resurrect this franchise. The wait has been long enough. Even mega man came back from the dead recently.

Why do so many game trailers these days use rap and hip-hop? I know it was really big in the 90's/00's but isn't it a bit overused these days? Frankly that song sucked and doesn't fit Metroid at all.

I was never a huge fan of the original. It was okay for a SNES launch title. I'm probably in the minority here but the second game was honestly more fun to me. I didn't care for the town building part and the sequel cuts that out in favor of the platforming levels. SNES graphics haven't aged a day to me with alot of games. The original still looks great but this remake looks like a cheap mobile game.

I'm still trying to figure out what all the hype about Blu ray or HD is and you people are all 4K this and 60 FPS that! It's like you won't be happy unless your eyeballs explode from extreme graphics! I bet you're already going, PS5 is so ugly. Wake me up when we have PS7's and 16K TVs!

I gotta break out the first two again and get some practice! I hope there's a new song about the moon in this one. You know fly me to the moon, Moon river and now whatever it could be.

I've never been great at these action hack n slash games but I do love me some Bayonetta! The style, the character, the music and the sexy and bad ass Bayonetta herself!

Can't believe people are really complaining about the graphics. You know the switch isn't exactly a spring chicken anymore right? It looks good enough especially for this type of game. Gonna have to wait for the next Nintendo machine if you want better visuals. If looks are your thing get a PS5. If you can find one that is.

Yeah you tell em Kamiya! Can't believe people will actually petition to have a game release on their console of choice when the simple thing to do and likely quickest way to play a console exclusive is to buy the system it's exclusive to.

Asking for this on PS5 is just as silly as expecting BOTW 2 to show up on there. You want it you know where to find it. Now make your choice.

I was confused when they called it a trilogy. I honestly didn't know there were three of them. I knew about SNES and Genesis versions. Never actually played any of them though. Maybe it's time I did.

Great and just when I finally cracked and bought it on Xbox. Then they go and release it on switch. Well anyway guess I'm finally gonna play this for the first time. I've heard it's amazing!

People should really stop comparing Dracula X to Rondo of blood. They are so different it's more like two separate games rather than different versions of the Same game. The snes one often being called inferior when in reality it's actually a pretty good game. I wish more Castlevania fans would give it a chance.

I remember when people thought every Nintendo system since N64 would fail. It's always fun for Sony ponys and other haters to discredit Nintendo. After all Nintendo is for babies right? At least that was the popular opinion ever since PS1 arrived.

Oh sure yeah right LOL! Last week GameCube games were rumored then gameboy and now N64. Heck they are even gonna put Wii games on there. Sha and monkeys might fly outta my butt!

I hear Nintendo is coming out with a switch pro too! It comes straight from the most highly regarded rumor mills!

I've been having an issue where my switch fan gets louder than usual. Almost making a grinding noise. Might have to get that Oled model sooner than i thought.

I was 22 when that thing came out and I'm 42 now. Good god! Somebody get me a damn wheel chair!

Loved the gamecube though! The mini discs, great games and Nintendo taking more risks! I mean it didn't even launch with a mario game for crying out loud. That came a few months later. I still have two of them and one is my launch cube! Ran home to play Luigi's mansion and Rogue leader all night!

I liked Astral chain but alot of it i didn't like as well. The investigation parts were boring and the stealth segments just dragged and i suck at stealth. If they could iron those out or just make them more fun somehow then yeah I'd go for a sequel. Graphically and combat wise I've got no complaints.

Frank Oz will always be my Yoda. My miss Piggy too for that matter.

Heck I even liked game music when it was just bleeps and boops. I always loved a good boss theme! Like the one from turtles in time! What would those battles be without that killer beat?!

I still know alot of non gamers or just casuals who don't consider videogame music to be "real music" Same with anything by weird Al yankovick sadly. If I turned on the radio and heard Midna's lament from Zelda Twilight princess or something I'd be grinning from ear to ear!

Videogame music is far better than anything I've heard on the radio in the last several years that's for sure! I'd totally tune in for that!

Because of the crappy reception of Star fox zero don't expect the series back anytime soon if ever. The haters killed it. It's not a bad game at all it just got bad word of mouth from the start.

I liked Star fox zero! Fight me.

Yeah the aiming with the gamepad was awkward but it's the closest we got to a game as good as Star fox 64. Plus a simple press of the select button puts you right into cockpit view eliminating the need to aim with the gamepad at all. You'd be surprised how many people never figured this out. I haven't seen one review where this was ever mentioned.

My switch Started up with a high pitched whine from the fan the other day. It was brief and quickly went away but it sure had me concerned. 😬

GameCube to this day is probably still my second favorite Nintendo system. First being Snes. Gotta give props to that because it was the first system that just blew me away!

I liked GameCubes mini discs too. Everyone else was using big Discs and Nintendo be like check out our mini discs!

Plus all those daring games you mentioned. Love star fox adventures btw! I don't care if it is a Zelda clone with a star fox skin, it's a damn good one!
