Banjo-Kazooie hasn't been sighted since Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but that hasn't stopped the famous bear and bird from getting merch and more on a regular basis.
If you've not already got a collectible based on this iconic duo sitting on your shelf, you might be interested in the Youtooz creation of this character dating back to the Nintendo 64 era. In addition to this are figures for Bottles, and Banjo's sister Tooty.

All three of these figures will be available for pre-order later this month on 26th February and will ship early in June. They'll be priced at $29.99 USD each and will be released via Rare's studio merchandise website. Here's some additional info:
"Standing 4.5 inches tall, this detailed collectible features Banjo in his classic yellow shorts and blue backpack (with pal Kazooie bursting out), ready to pluck up a tune on the banjo from his game’s memorable intro. The window box is illustrated to show Banjo and Kazooie’s home, using elements from the franchise. This collectible ships in a matte, embossed, protective outer sleeve."
Next month also sees the release of the Banjo-Kazooie Super Smash Bros. amiibo. What do you think of the above Youtooz figures? Leave a comment down below.

Everybody giving the bear and bird some love recently! ......except Microsoft....
@AnnoyingFrenzy they really should just sell the IP
I can finally have a quality set of figurines from my beloved B-K ... I'm eager to have that amiibo and this Youtooz.
It's a shame that we can't just have another game and revive this icons of gaming.
Also... Yooka Laylee 1 was actually a good spiritual successor and a nice game.
Not sure why they chose Bottles and Tooty over say, Gruntilda or Mumbo.
@fafonio They need to sell banjo and kazooie over to nintendo they will at least do somthing with him. but no there hording on to him for no good reason.
@Snatcher Any company except Rare would be welcome tbh. I recently tried Battletoads (made by Dlala Studios) on Xbox and before I thought it was a sin to use that art style for that game... but then after playing it I thought it was a pretty good and creative game.
And The Initiative is already doing Perfect Dark.
I really don't understand what is stopping them to lend Banjo Kazooie to another competent studio or even Nintendo.
@fafonio They just want to hold on to him just for the heck of it, they have a popular Character that no body has and bc of that its a sacrite thing we must hold on to.
Seeing a Youtooz post on NintendoLife feels so odd. I’ve been collecting figures and plushes of my favorite YouTubers for a while, the shipping and delays are ridiculous, but they are pretty good overall.
The Banjo-Kazooie figure looks nice, not as much as the amiibo, but still nice
the figurines are nice; i might get one.
now it is time that Microsoft ports the games over to the Nintendo Switch.
or at least releases updated/upgraded versions of the game for the xbox one and the xbox series S|X. having an HD remake of the games might be nice; as well as having some additional features added. isn't there a feature in Banjo-Tooie that was never implemented into the game. or possibly having the option so that player 1 controls Banjo and player 2 controls Kazooie for when the two of them decide to split-up and do their own thing. even adding him to Mart Kart would be nice. they (at least Banjo) appeared in a Diddy Kong racing; maybe its time that he joined the fun in Mart Kart.
@AnnoyingFrenzy I'm pretty sure Microsoft is watching the sales of BK on Smash and having the profits. If the numbers are good enough, they might try another game in the series. I just don't think Rare is up to the task, so who would they outsource it to?
By the way, my favorite games in the series are as follows: BK > Grunty's Revenge > BT > Pilot > Nuts and Bults.
Grunty's Revenge is short and sweet. BT has many brillant moments, but I believe the levels are larger and more complex than they should be.
@Paulo I myself am a BK > BT > NandB > GR > Pilot kind of guy
At this point, I don't really care WHO it gets outsourced to, just that a new game gets made you know?
Something about these Youtooz figures all having the exact same expression, really bugs me.
Well Microsoft...when are you going to give us Nintendo Switch players some non-Nintendo Rare games? We want more than just Minecraft and Ori.
Come on man, I already spent $90 on BFDI plushies, give my wallet a break.
But will they ever release Banjo Kazooie on the Switch?
Ugh just make banjo threeie already! Currently playing Yooka laylee but something about it ain't quite right.
its a pain but companies prefer to hog IPs to themselves and do nothing with it, rather than sell em to give their competitors more games to work with.
its almost bittersweet to see banjo live on today except in a new video game
Wasn't the Youtooz brand supposed to cover youtubers or am I just out of the loop that much?
A lot of Banjo-merchandise lately. This is cool and all, but when do we get another game from them? I will be even open for a remake in the style of the Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
@Paulo their were rumours awhile back that playtonic would be making the next BK, it was later debunked but it would be rather fitting to get the old crew back together to make a new BK
@boxyguy The IP was sold though, by nintendo? Along with other rare ips
And look how that turned out.
Rare should of stuck with nintendo, Microsoft pretty much destroyed that company
@fafonio Rare would do a good Banjo
@Doktor-Mandrake Except they have their most successful game ever right now...
(And also, frankly, their best game)
weird, I thought Youtooz only made youtuber based figurines
@Dringo Sea of Theives? Or do you mean playtonic and yooka laylee?
@Doktor-Mandrake Sea of Thieves. Superb game. Just had its biggest ever month and is more popular than any Rare game before it. And it’a chief designer is the same person behind Banjo and Donkey Kong Country. Composer is the same person behind the Conker and Killer Instinct soundtracks.
Rare isn’t dead. More alive than ever. They’ve got another team now, making Everwild.
@Dringo Yeah I played sea of thieves about a year ago, is a really fun game (love the banjo ship design speaking of)
To me perfect dark is still the best game they've ever done, but sea of thieves is pretty fun too
They're working on a new perfect dark atm, I hope it turns out good
Not a BK fan but these are very cute.
@Doktor-Mandrake yeah that was a big mistake on nintendos end. maybe at the time nintendo really needed the money but microsofts not in that situation, and banjos especially a gem now so they definitely wont sell his ip anytime soon
@RupeeClock I thought the same thing. It's almost like they choose Bottles specifically to use the same eyes. Bizarre.
@boxyguy If they do a new BK and did it right would be great, I feel they should do a switch release as well instead of making it an exclusive title, same with the new PD really I feel, they're ips that should be on a nintendo system
I read article years ago and recall a big reason a lot of the original rareware devs leaving after transition to microsoft was because they werent just left to get on with the game, nintendo were a lot more relaxed and wouldn't butt-in on the actual game development process of it too much but Microsoft were rather different
It's why I think playtonic formed as they like that independency but you do still wonder what would of happened had they stayed with nintendo
I don't know if a new BK would actually be that fun but I would love a new diddy kong racing style game staring a bunch of rare characters.
@Doktor-Mandrake It's actually a different team doing Perfect Dark. The Initiative
@boxyguy IIRC, Rare wanted a huge amount for controlling interest in the company. It was a big risk too, considering the Stamper brothers wanted to cash out. Without their leadership, it was unclear what the company would look like. Whether they would have the same direction and freedom they had during their partnership with Nintendo.
Nothing Rare released at Nintendo shipped on time, but they always released something memorable. Under MS, I feel output increased but creativity and quality dipped significantly. Glad to see them out of the Kinect doghouse and doing interesting projects again
Wheres my Grunty at?
