Nintendo online is being handled even worse than the VC on Wii or Wii U. At least then we got three games a month on average. Now it's an even slower drip feeding of two to five games every six months.

Who ever is in charge of the distribution of games needs to be fired ASAP! At that rate I'll be able to collect my damn social security by the time even even half the non licensed Library is available.

If you want to celebrate 20 years of GameCube make the games available on switch somehow! I mean come on i can't even play Wind waker or Twilight princess or Metroid prime on my switch?

Surely it can handle them.

I miss G1 Transformers. I had a serious obsession with them as a kid. Saw the original 1986 animated movie in theaters. It ripped my little heart out but it was still awesome!

Gameboy games we probably won't see on Nintendo switch online? Any at all! As well as N64, GameCube or anything else. Damn rumor mill getting peoples hopes up!

It's all good though. I have a modded Mini Nes with every noteworthy game loaded to it anyway so thanks for nothing Nintendo. I ain't waiting until I'm almost dead to get 5 good games in 3 years time.

Really bites that this game will probably never make it to a Nintendo system. I once thought that about rondo then the VC happened which I really miss Btw.

I completed all shrines and every single main and side quest except all the DLC and never bothered getting all korok seeds. Spent an entire month just doing that. Then I was just burnt out.

One day I do plan on going for 100%. I typically never consider a Zelda game finished until every last item is collected and all optional quests are completed but with BOTW I just got overwhelmed.

My OCD with these type of games just won't let me stop until I'm driven mad. I dread the probable size of the sequel!

I've played through every zelda game multiple times minus the spin offs and i still can't quite say i agree with what seems like 95% of the population calling BOTW the best zelda ever made. I'm not sure what it is that keeps it from being my all time favorite. It is very good. I just don't like alot of things about it.

The breakable weapons that seem to break way too easily or at the worst possible times. The constant rain everytime you try to climb a mountain and the whole trying to turn zelda into Assassins creed thing. I also miss the elaborate dungeons. I mean come on this massive game only has four actual dungeons? The shrines are okay but i want more dungeons. At least 8 or 9 like Ocarina of time.

That is not the same thing. By your logic almost every user on any social media site should be getting cease and desist orders for even using pictures on their profile. Everyone uses copyrighted character names and images.

I'm all for talented people showing off their skills but for christs sake come up with your own ideas! Smart enough to make a video game but dumb enough to think it's okay to ripp off ideas and violate a copyrite law. I know it's just killing all of you that the switch OLED is what everyone was so sure would be a switch pro. That'll teach you to put one bit of faith in internet rumors. I don't care how much people bash anything that came after the originals. Especially the sequels. I've loved this franchise since i learned to talk and a few ups and downs isn't going to turn me into a nostalgia ridden hater. Heck even the classic trilogy has things i didn't like. Not many but flawless films they are not.

Kinda looks like a downgrade honestly. It seems more generic and less good looking. I'll wait for reviews.

Hey i like the Nes and Snes design! They were like two boxes of joy that i Could play all my favourite games on! Feeling pretty old now that the guy who made them is retiring. I remember the first commercials for these things. Now scuse me some hooligans are on my lawn again. Why those whipper snappers!

So if it's already been 4 years I guess we aren't getting a sequel. They'd have done it by now. Well I suppose they don't wanna keep the franchise going on nostalgia alone. New ideas and finally figuring out the secret to a good 3D modern sonic would help but this is Sega we're talking about.

Ign have given many games i loved an insultingly bad score. Double dragon neon for example. They said it was a dead genre and called the 80‘s soundtrack cheesy. If 80’s hair metal guitar riffs akin to stan bush are cheesy than cheese me up! They missed the point of the style entirely.

I noticed the part about all bosses being optional was never mentioned in the review. I was kinda not too keen on that. I hope it doesn't suck the fun out of progression.

Even us older folk will be well into our golden years by the time physical goes away completely. It's not like many of us will be around when physical is unheard of so no worries.

I also prefer games that no matter how much time passes they'll still be playable and won't be rendered useless once an online server gets shut down.

Growing up with physical games for basically my entire life There's just something special about games you can hold or display on shelves. Those who started gaming in the digital age will never understand.

If your 3DS is modded is this going to brick it?

Never really had a problem with the 3DS remakes. They did more good than harm honestly and after playing those it's kinda hard to look at the originals without wanting to puke. So over that blocky ugly early 3D era.

Now if they wanted to do a total from the ground up OOT remake with todays graphics I'd be all over that!

If they would just get Wind waker and Twilight princess on switch and maybe port the 3DS versions of OOT and MM that would be great!

Still enjoying skyward sword HD and frankly I always did love that one! I never understood the hate.

Everyone is acting like Nintendo should be scared of this thing. Trust me they ain't. I'm still trying to figure out what the heck steam is anyway. I thought steam came out of a boiling pot of water. What a stupid name.

Nintendo is no more afraid of this than they are of PS5. They have and always will continue to do their own thing. Let the other guys worry about high end or bleeding edge technology. Nintendo does Nintendo and I like it fine that way! Wouldn't be a gamer if it weren't for them.

It's just like mk vs DC. They didn't want to show DC characters getting their heads cut off and guts ripped out. It's just not a good fit. I say get working on MK 12 or do Injustice 3.

So glad i have a Nes and Snes mini! I can play any game i want to and i don't have to wait around for Nintendo to drip feed us 3 games every six months. As a bonus some PS1 games like Mega man x4,5,6 and Symphony of the night will run on them too!

This is probably the most hyped for a switch game that wasn't a remake/port I've been in a long time! There's so much stuff coming out on switch i can't keep track of what's worth getting excited for. It feels like alot of it is indie titles and shovelware though.

Who doesn't have a soft spot for that one? Gamecube was awesome! I loved the games! I still remember my jaw hitting the floor the first time i loaded up luigis mansion. I Couldn't believe the graphical leap from N64. The mini discs were unique and adorable! I brought that sucker home and stayed up all night playing rogue leader! Oh man good times!

Speaking of NES shmups who remembers XEXYZ? It was a shooter with a little pointy nosed dude and the bosses looked like sea creatures.

The Nes Tiger Heli music has never left my brain. It wasn't a great game but that same song playing on a constant loop on every level sure stuck with me. I started hearing it the minute i read the title of this article. It's what i always played in the early Nes days when i was sick of mario.

I thought that's what the Nintendo online Nes and Snes Apps were. Basically Netflix for games locked behind a subscription instead of letting you buy the games like VC. Plus we are drip fed new titles every six months or so. What a deal!
