We're approaching four years since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched, and fans continue finding news way to play it. As we await further news on its sequel, Breath of the Wild has maintained a vibrant community, between glitch exploits like spirit orb duplication to the fantastic Bread% speedruns.
Having recently achieved a 100% completion run without taking any damage, Twitch streamer JoeDun's next step was finishing it with his feet. Naturally. Successfully beating every shrine and defeating Ganon, he calls this challenge "10x worse" than his no-damage run.
Elaborating on this further, JoeDun confirmed to Polygon:
When 100% was a test of skill and endurance, the feet run was a giant test of patience. I would take the test of skill any day honestly. Not to say you don’t need skill to beat [BOTW] with your feet, but damn did it make me a little bit upset at times.
Clocking in at 8:18:33, it's impressive to witness, given the lack of dexterity available compared to playing with your hands. We're continually surprised by these creative methods, so we can only wonder what's coming next.
Would you try an attempt this? Let us know down below.

you could say he put his Foot into it.
Sorry? BOTW has Dungeons? That's news to me.
Now do it with pomegranates.
I live in lowkey fear of the day when an article about such playthroughs will have to be tagged NSFW.
A footjob well done.
That's uh. Well, congratulations, champ. You want a medal?
BOTW does not have dungeons.
It’s ‘ProudFEET’!
Baffles me why people do this kind of nonsense
I would just like to point out, Breath of the Wild had no Dungeons. It had locations and devine beast contraptions. Still a great achievement however.
Edit: nice change on the Shrines.
@HamatoYoshi I agree. It feels so desperate for attention. :-/
An impressive feat? An impressive FEET
One weird trick to turn your joycons into sadcons.
That's why you should always bring your own controller, you never know what the other guy did to his...
This is what they should have put in Nintendo direct, “guys we don’t have any news about botw2, but look someone beat our first game with his feet!! see you again in 500 days for a new Direct.”
It should have been sponsored by Quentin Tarantino.
Next tell us when someone beats the entire game with their tongue! Anyway speaking of those shrines (which aren't the same as dungeons in the first place guys above making jokes)
Let's hope BOTW 2 or whatever it's called has actual places that would qualify as dungeons. There were a grand total of 4 in BOTW and i think alot of fans really missed having those.
See this is why i like skyward sword better. For one it has dungeons and a story oh and real zelda music not just sounds of wind blowing or ambient noises.
Some people have seriously nothing better to do...
@Clyde_Radcliffe exactly! Like these people that film their own ( clearly fake and over dramatised ) reactions to stuff on YouTube....attention craving idiots.
@Rhaoulos he’s the ‘foot f**kin master’
@Taekw0ndud I think that’s the joke.
@HamatoYoshi Yeah, I hate that, that's why I don't like a lot of gaming YouTubers. That or they're always screaming and shouting in general in a really fake way or trying too hard to be funny. It's difficult to find chilled and genuine YouTubers. I like the Nintendo Life team and their videos though.
I tried this and failed miserably. Ahh, the smell of da feet.
That's nothing, the only way I play BotW is by bashing the controller with a certain male appendage.
That's one impressive feat, or two.
This is a great arch-ievement. You really need to focus mind, body, and sole to accomplish something like this. Heel do wonderfully in his next endeavor. I look forward toe it.
I guess we can say this guy has a foothold on Breath of the Wild.
Articles like this really bring out the comments by people who take life too seriously.
All achievements add to humanity.
This is why we need BOTW2 so that people can start playing with their hands again and not come up with other ...ways to play. Cmon Nintendo!
Haha, beautiful way to play, but I still prefer my hands. Also people who don’t believe this is a dungeon, riddle me this. If you treat every shrine as a separate room with mini bosses (blight Ganons) and ending in a final boss (Calamity Ganon), would that seem like a dungeon to you? By all dungeons he did all the shrines and Devine beasts. In fact some consider the Devine beasts as dungeons. Sure it doesn’t follow the classical dungeons we have seen in past Zelda games, but the way you perform each shrine could be compared to a dongeon.
gonna beat Splatoon 3's single player with just feet day 1
@HamatoYoshi It's fun and can be a challenge??
@HamatoYoshi Now now. A little respect for people's fetishes. I don't understand being addicted to one of the ugliest human part, but we still need it to stand (at least I do)
@HamatoYoshi Hey, if you were a successful streamer and people gave you hundreds in donations, you would be doing weird crap like this, too!
NINJA APPROVED
Meh. Not impressed. Arm/hand amputees do this all the time. Why are we celebrating a person just futzing around?
Go find gamers that do this with an actual reason behind it.
