Funny how both of these turned out better than the higher budget fancier Bloodstained ritual of the night that took so many years to finally get released. Nevermind all the countless fixes that are still being ironed out to this day. People say boo 8-bit is so over done but if it's Inti Creates i know I'm in for a good time!

Not since Mighty number 9 has a kickstarter funded game been so botched. I guess if Konami has no further interest in Castlevania these will have to do. They sure are filling the void!

I'd still eventually like to try ritual of the night but I'm not paying 40 dollars for such half assery. Waiting for a sale.

Remember when Sony tried to have their own smash bros? Yeah that went well. I can't even recall what that game was called.

I'm all for good Zelda clones, Okami, Sphinx and the cursed mummy or even further back with the Turbo grafx Neutopia games but this is just flat out copy cat crap! When the character jumps or grunts it even sounds like Link. Hard pass.

I'm not supporting such unoriginality!

Ah the mario game where bowser sounds like cookie monster and every world is tropical themed. The blue coins that are basically filler for the lack of worlds is what bored me about this one. Some were really annoying to get. Remember that pinball machine one? Good looking game I'll be honest but playing it was a whole different thing. Frustrated the hell outta me!

Sea bass? You mean that guy from dumb and dumber that got the salt shaker thrown at him?

I guess I'm out of touch like Hall and oats then cause i ain't heard of any of these games. Perhaps i should look into them.

So sick of the roguelike genre! Those games where you die and lose all progress while being sent back to the beginning are the worst! I hated them in the 80's and i hate it now! Oh and the randomly generated levels thing is lazy indeed!

If this is not one of those I'll consider it!

So now i guess it's safe to hack it then huh? No more firmware to stop us!

I'd say there's a pretty good chance most of them won't. Though disney afternoon collection is puzzling. I know the switch can handle that one and they were even originally on the Nes. What more reason do they need to port it?

I don't need to watch TV on my game system anyway. I rarely ever used even my playstation systems for that. Nobody thought the NES or Snes should play VHS tapes.

I don't have fond childhood memories of this because i wasn't a child anymore when it released so i have fond adult memories! Anyway yeah it might have aged poorly but this was a heck of a good game when it released! Gotta love that podracing scene in the movie even if you weren't keen on the rest of it!

Oh and please people lay off Jar jar! It was episode 1 and darth vader was 9 years old. How gritty and adult did you expect this movie to be? They put him in there so kids would like it. Plus mesa thinks he's rather funny!

I trashed a gamecube controller once just playing Luigi's mansion. All that jerky motion you gotta do when catching ghosts wears the crap outta the stick! I still have Nes and snes controllers that work like new though. Now those things were built to last!

I remember the N64 sticks being pretty crappy as well. Also they were hell on the thumbs!

This is supposedly one of the best hidden gems on the genesis so looking forward to trying it out!

Whenever my joycons start drifting i just give the sticks a squirt of contact cleaner under the plastic plap thingy. It works pretty good but eventually you gotta do it again. Beats the hell outta taking the whole damn controller apart or paying 70 dollars for a new pair.

Knock it all you want but hey i can save alot of money this way and it gets the job done. I'm not buying new joycons everytime they drift.

Why not turn the broken snes into a working Snes? Somebody could be enjoying one of histories greatest inventions but no let's mutilate it instead while destroying our switch screen in the process!

I really need to finish the first two. Been meaning to but i got distracted playing other games. This might be a good time for me to get the Azure striker gunvolt collection on switch.

Whatever happened to that Freedom planet sequel? They showed a trailer way back and it feels like forever ago. Did that get cancelled?

This was my favorite dungeon or whatever you'd call it in the game! It's stuff like this that makes me miss full on dungeons in zelda. BOTW was pretty impressive but those shrines were lame.

I liked Skyward sword better than BOTW. I know blasphemy but seriously i honestly think i did!

It is a racing game from 1999 so if you never played it then yeah by today's standards it probably would be basic. For the time though it was pretty great and it has a large cast of playable racers! It also helps if you're even remotely fond of the movie.

Do yourself a favor and look up Rogue leader on gamecube! It's even better than Rogue squadron!

As a fan since the originals I've enjoyed all the movies but yeah nothing beats the classic trilogy! Back when it was all new and exciting! When we old timers were just plucky youngsters instead of salty sarcastic old farts longing for our childhoods.

I'm no expert but would fallen order even be possible on switch? I mean I've already played it on PS4 but I'd love switch owners to be able to play it! It's really good! EA usually doesn't have the best games but they did a damn fine job on that one!

Now somebody get Kotor on switch and fast!

I've always wanted to catch up on this series but alot of them never got a US release so that's been difficult. Only played the first two.

I bet alot of people will be saying UGH 8-bit is so over done but i say bring it on! I will never get tired of these graphics if done right! As long as the chip tune music and gameplay checks out I'm fine with it! Thrilled in fact! The first Curse of the moon was fantastic!

I too have played every game in the series thus far and i definitely have gripes about BOTW as much as i do love most of it. The music was good but i really missed the traditional overworld and dungeon themes. The lack of much story was dissapointing and the shrines were okay but i want my full on dungeons back!

Everything else that BOTW introduced can return but let's have a real zelda game next time instead of Hyrulian's creed. I know open world games are what's in these days but everything doesn't have to be a massive 300 hour marathon of filler.

You RE fans sure can't make up your minds. For the longest time you were all hating on RE 5 and 6 for being so action heavy and saying they ruined the series because of it. Now here comes RE 8 with a more action oriented style and it's all OMG it's amazing i can't wait! Ya hoo this kicks ass! Okay whatever guys. I don't get it.

Yeah anyway i don't see why it can't be both. If you don't like the action ones play the slower paced games, If that's too boring for you go in guns a blazing with the action ones. Either way blast the hell outta some freaky monsters and have fun!

Oh and lastly what's all this RE 4 sucks without Gyro nonsense? It was a masterpiece from day one even before motion controls were a thing. Why else do you think i bought it on every platform it's been released on so far? Seriously if you haven't played it by now shame on you!

I gave him a chance. I really did. I heard all the praise when they started putting those games on the VC and i bought Alex kid in miracle world thinking maybe i missed something. Turns out it was one of my most regretted purchases and i never touched it again! Alex kid sucks! He sucked then and he'll suck now!

Oh and if he's a kid why does he look like a monkey?😒

What's really sad is the way it was cancelled. it was just a mere few weeks from being released and it was so close to being finished that a demo was put up on the 3DS Eshop. Then BOOM last minute cancellation and the demo was pulled! Man were people pissed! Oh and the whole thing happened shortly after Inafune had left Capcom. Sad day that was!

When was the last time anyone willingly bought a Konami game? I'm guessing MGS 5 right? They suck now!😜

As for earthbound's 25th it would be nice if Nintendo would help us celebrate by adding Earthbound to the switch either on that Nintendo online thing or a stealth drop on the eshop but Noooooo it's too much to ask! Oh well my modded wii should take care of that.

When they say system improvements what they really mean is hack removal. For the love of god just give us folders already!

Dang I'm so old i remember when games didn't even have ratings. 13 year old me was playing mortal kombat and nobody cared. Not even my parents. Luckily they had little to no interest in my hobby.

This is beyond stupid. The gamegear had a total of like 15 good games and the rest were just awful. Plus the screen would be so damn tiny it would be like playing games on a wrist watch. I did that back in the 80's with those little LCD games. Didn't like it then either.

Xenoblade chronicles has been out for a while. It's actually kinda sad that the switch's biggest chart topper right now is a 10 year old Wii game. What was the last exclusive switch game that people got really excited about? I honestly can't recall. You know technically the switch doesn't even have it's own dedicated Zelda yet. BOTW is a Wii U game and Link's awakening is a spruced up Gameboy game.

I always wondered what the hell was up with that old fart playing the Banjo cover? Honestly all the covers suck. The one with the ship looks like someone just drew a dong with wings added to it. 😜

Uh oh you mean the game isn't completely flawless at launch? That's it cancelling my preorder! Lazy Lazy developers! LOL just kidding. That's what all the framerate nuts would say. Perfection and completely glitch free or it ain't worth buying. 😜

Exactly my point! If the prettiest game in the world plays horribly with awkward or confusing controls and gameplay looks aren't going to matter. Sure nice graphics are wonderful but the game needs to be fun above all else!

I do like great graphics and i know they can make a game more enjoyable. Nothing wrong with that. The problem is these graphic nuts act like all modern games have to be as sharp and crisp as possible. Like somehow pixels aren't allowed or wanted anymore in todays world. As if all games made before the HD era are now outdated prehistoric garbage that should be swept under the rug and forgotten.

I don't care how old and ugly a videogame is. If i liked it back in the day i will still like it now. No matter if it's 1080p 100 FPS or not.

I still look at some gameboy games and think wow that looks really neat! I guess you had to have been there when this stuff was new to really appreciate it.
