Re: Dark Half Is A Twisted SNES JRPG From The Makers Of Wonder Boy, And It Now Has An English Translation

Cool! I like that NL is giving some news time to some of the latest fan translations available. I myself am enjoying Tales of Vesperia on my PS3 thanks to a fan translation that I had waited years for them to finish. I'm only 5 hours in but I'm greatly enjoying the game so far, it was well worth the wait. I'm really liking the characters I've met so far, unlike in Tales of Hearts. But in any case, yay fan translations!

Re: Talking Point: The Fragility of Buying Download Games

I really don't mind to be honest. It's just too convenient for me to download Splatoon, for example, & have it there to play whenever I want without having to swap discs. So that's what I'm going to do. In 10 years time I'll be playing something different so still having access to 10+ years old games isn't really a big deal to me.

Re: The Latest Miiverse Update Has Users In An Uproar

WiiLovePeace

I follow hundreds of miiverse users. Does Nintendo really expect me to click the profile of hundreds of people just to check if they have made more than 1 post since the last time I visited miiverse? The speed increase of the activity feed loading is minimal compared to how it was before the update. & now it's overall much slower since I have to click on numerous profiles as well. & the activity feed is fickle on Wii U, it always seems to want to reload after changing pages & going back, which I'll now have to frequently do, making the experience even slower. Why can't this sortof thing be optional? Quite the downgrade to miiverse.

That's really sad. I absolutely loved Arc Rise Fantasia, it had a slow start but after that it got really epic story-wise & the music was fantastic. I knew it would never happen but I dreamt of making a sequel that followed on from the end of the first game & I had some really interesting ideas if I do say so myself. Sadly that's even less of a chance of happening now. Not to mention the sad missing of a human being.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Legacy Makes The Virtual Console Essential, But It Must Modernise

Hear, hear. I want a subscription service for virtual console games. I never liked the idea of paying a monthly fee for stuff but with Netflix I absolutely love the idea now. Paying $12 a month for all the movies & TV shows they have & I have the time to watch is awesome! I want all the virtual console games available to me as long as I keep paying a subscription fee. It's such a good idea! Do this Nintendo. DO IT! DO IT NOW!

Re: Video: Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Skies Shines On Wii U

@Mario_Fart Yeah admittedly I am finding it a little hard to control. I always used the Wiimote + Nunchuk option when I played the game back in the day. Using the gamepad to play the game made the reticle feel slow but then I found an option to turn reticle speed to "very fast" & now it feels a bit too fast haha. It'll take a while to get used to for sure, I may just end up using a wiimote later.

Already bought it from the eShop I still have my Wii copy lying around somewhere but who wants to deal with discs? Not me. Plus I've heard when a Wii VC eShop game utilises the Wii Classic Controller, you can actually play with the Wii U Gamepad. Can't wait to find out if that's true!

Edit: Yay! It's true, don't need any wiimotes, nunchuks or classic controllers to play this game. Just the Wii U gamepad!
