I'm loving this game, it's just so fun! Great discount on the eShop too, until December 26th.

Yay! I dislike when Pre-order DLC never becomes available later. It's DLC, there's no reason to hold it back just because I bought the game on the eShop rather than as a physical disc.

Yay! I will finally be able to get Weapon Shop De Omasse! & may buy the others I don't have already as they're cheap.

I have to wait until Wii 3 to get a new mainline Mario game? Dang, that's disappointing. I want Super Mario Galaxy 3 (or Super Mario Universe) on my Wii U.

That sounds really cool! Though if it is going to have a hole in the centre, it sounds like it's definitely going to be used on the sleep monitor. With the centre being the sensor & the screen around it I guess. Bendable screens? The possibilities are awesome!

Eh, it's not a big deal, it's still artwork of Megaman at least. Adding in the IGN logo to the Okami boxart, now that was a big laugh hahaha.

I bought RCR on WiiWare on release. I might buy it on my other Wii & also on Wii-mode on my Wii U. Or I might just buy it on 3DS. Supposedly the sales threshold has to be reached 2 years after the game's release or else he gets no money for his work. So that's February 2015. Which is too bad for him if it doesn't make it but I won't feel that sorry for him as he has definitely recouped the costs of making the game on all platforms altogether.

I love Mario Kart 8 but this t-shirt needs more colour. I would probably still get it though if I had enough points haha. Oh well...

Where is the European / Australian release of this game? It's been ~6 months since its North American release with zero word on if it's still even coming to the EU/AU eShops. Oh well, I'll just keep waiting & hoping.

@ikki5 I don't know why, only Nintendo knows. It's just how it is. We get less stars per game but we also pay less for rewards (sometimes). For example, the price for the MK8 pin badge set is 4,000 stars in Europe but only 2,500 stars in Australia.

@ikki5 The cradle's price is 2,000 stars & we get 200 stars per game so it's 10 games. Either Wii U or 3DS.

I blew all my points on the MK8 pin set so I don't have anywhere near enough points to get this. I don't use my original 3DS XL much now I've got the New 3DS XL anyway. Hopefully I can gain enough points to acquire one before they disappear, but 2 colours are gone already.

Hmmmm... Beta on the Wii U. I'll give it a shot, if it comes to the Australian or European eShop.

I basically expected this games awards show to be completely dominated by games I'm simply uninterested in & bands who bore me & hence I ignored it. Then I heard that the world's first gameplay footage of Zelda U was shown so I watched that & it was mind blowing of course. Then I decided to sit down & watch the whole thing figuring I could just skip passed any footage too violent for my liking. Then I was quite surprised to see Reggie open the show with the great Koji Kondo playing some SMB music on piano. There was a lot of Nintendo all over the show which was great imo but I wish Reggie would've toned down the PR a bit, it came off as unnatural when it comes straight after some indie guy admitted how humble or nervous he was etc. It would've been nice if he had've cracked a few jokes & acted actually excited about the games he was talking about. Oh well, it's not a big deal. I'm glad there was a Nintendo presence & lots of nostalgic Nintendo music too. But I gotta say, what was with Mr. Kondo's off key playing of LoZ music on that piano? It was a little heartbreaking to listen to. He did it a bit in the SMB music playing but much more when he was playing MM music. I also wish they had've played LoZ music together like they did for the last song, oh well. Overall it was still a great show, much better than past years & I'll definitely watch next years live. Great work all involved & congratulations to the winners of all the awards!

Oh man! I want to play. Hopefully it's coming to Australia or at least the UK eShop soon.

@BenAV I dunno. I turned up my volume & the taps made don't even sound like the start of the Super Mario Bros. theme to me. I tried to replicate the taps as they were in the video but to no avail.It's either Japanese 3DS only or not even real, I'm bending towards fake at this point.

Hahahaha that's cool! I've been keeping a watch for any defectual amiibos but haven't been lucky in that department yet. I saw a Link with an unpainted shield go for ~$180 (iirc) on eBay. Sure it's not $2,500 but it doesn't need to be. It's still a ton of profit over the retail price of an amiibo, so it's definitely worth looking out for a defect amiibo.

& whoops! Totally forgot about Art of Balance as it's not available on the Australian Wii U eShop, I've got to support Shin'en & get a great game by buying Art of Balance for the 3rd time haha (Wiiware, 3DS & soon on Wii U). Thanks for your efforts Shin'en, god speed!

I had 2,650 stars, so just enough to get the badge set It's a little small, being only 3 badges that I'll probably never wear but it's free, I love Mario Kart 8 & there may not be anything else cool & new added to the club nintendo website for a while so I went for it.

Hahahaha what a random explosion of emotion! That's Mario Kart for you I used to choose Bowser too until the DLC came out & now I choose Link. I'll probably alternate between Link & my Mii character once I get my hands on an Amiibo, some of the outfits look really cool

I didn't go to a midnight launch, none in my area that I know of so I got mine after I woke up today. I'm absolutley loving my blue metallic New 3DS XL Everything is so fast & the internet browser is amazing! Youtube videos look beautiful on it. The sweet spot for the 3D effect is so much wider now, way better than on the original XL. Thanks Nintendo!

Yay for off-tv play on the gamepad! Now to wait for this to release on the Aussie eShop...

@StarDust4Ever ah yeah I forgot about the non-Mario franchises, I guess I have played all of the 11 platformers already then haha. & as the title says "New Super Mario Bros. Wii Hits 10 Million Sales Mark In The US" as in, 10 million sold in the US, 28.65 sold across the globe.

@Peach64 Please list the 11 2D platformers Nintendo has made since 2009. I can't remember 11 of them, I want to see if there's any I missed & rectify that, thanks!
