... it looks so cute but I think this is just a cinematic trailer. I don't think the final game will look like that. The hair is a big giveaway for me... but hey if it looks like this, i will gladly buy it. It looks cute!

My only wish is to be able to change controls on certain moves.... I would love to change my throwable weapons to be single triggers and my bigger attacks be the 2 buttons cause.... There are many times I accidently use my flashy moves that eat up my silk and now I can't heal 😅. Games been great so far.

I hope the gimmicks come as a "sold separately" item and not the base system.
Like I want the base system to be a strong & powerful, with the iterations to come from addon's (Camera, second screen addon!?👀)
The joycons are the base, add onto them. It helps so that developers can focus on power, while the gimmicks can be used if needed.
I hope to see more developers improve on what the mouse mode can do 😁

The direct felt more like an overview trailer... but I get it. It's a lot of stuff that, if you are a casual or just stopping by, may not have known and helped show off the basics of the game.
I am excited for the game so i have been in the discussion and speculation lobbies. I knew a lot of this cause i watched gameplay by others online and "deep analysis". My copium is that I am thinking they are still hiding many characters, especially in free roam with the P switch-missions. Holding out hope for the Sprixie Princesses and elephant characters.

I wonder if the enemies will get "costumes" based on their color variants.
Game is looking like a blast cant wait... hopefully I get to preorder the mario kart bundle 🤞

could Switch 1 be placed in Switch 2 docks?

So excited! Hopefully they give Age of Calamity a Switch 2 update because I loved that game so much, might replay it just to get ready for this game. I see Age of Calamity close to what actually happened until the Climax (even in game I felt the dread of what was supposed to happen).

@speedracer216 there is an option to have inbetween tracks be turned off. I recall a pause and it showed that option. So laps in tracks only can be given. Also with Kamek, it seems that he can be adding obstacles... Plus 23 other players gonna be crazy

Im gonna have to control my intake of this game because that preview with treehouse looks AMAZING! So many new little animations added for all characters, how items are used. Im so glad that I see so much of the Mario Wonder DNA into this game.

OMG, thats so cute haha. I'm not planning on buying a camera, but may be inclined if Just Dance brings their gameplay similar to Xbox Kinect (you gotta move your whole body to get points).

Dang prices are high.. still getting it, hopefully I can get the MKWorld bundle. Im pretty picky on what games I wanna get so ill just have to save longer for more games.

Hopefully they add a refund policy, (Play a game for less than 2 hours or just 1) so if a customer does download a fake/ AI game, we can refund which could flag Nintendo to help get these games reviewed/ removed if a numerous amount get refund requests.

Dang. I already have the first steelbook which is just the mushroom with the black background, I love this new one way more 🫠. I would get it but saving for switch 2 and other stuff.

With how quickly Wicked Part 1 came out, I can see them doing a theatrical release of movies for about a month or 2, release the digital copies early and still have the physical release about 4 months after the movie.
My steelbook Wicked gets to me February 3rd. Ill preorder the 4k release for this film soon.

Im having a blast with it. I did play a few games alone on the train and dang, the Master CPUs are no joke. Aside from almost never messing up, they actually are crazy with their plans on the boards.

Loving the minigames, really fun when playimg with friends and how competitive it all feels, especially with the Jamboree Buddy duels

I love Gris and was so excited to see their next game.
I have played about 2 hours yesterday and was WOWed! Definitely a top contender for my favorite this year.
I can only play so many open world/big games. Love the smaller, brief games that leave an huge impact; hence why Gris is one of my top favorite games

I just ginished pre downloading the game and its just staring at me 😭 Gotta Finish Zelda so I can play both Neva and This on Thursday

I'm so excited! Game looks like there will be a lot to do in it. I'm wondering how many partners they will have and how the mini games differentiate, gives another reason to play on repeat and try to play all of their games.
Hoping they have a decent amount of games for each mode.

Internet is required on both the switch and the devices you use to play the game.
The way it works, is you go to Jackbox.tv website, enter the code that the game will give you (codes are given when you start a game) and you do most of the actions on the device (phone tablet, laptop, etc) . Its really straight forward on how to connect and play. Depending on the games, it will usually be up to 8 active players with any additional person connect being audience members.

@Chibi_Manny I wonder if the screenshot is at the beginning of Platform Peril, they had huge platforms in the old ones at the start.
Hopefully they make it a little longer too, love this minigame

I still play Crossy Road every now and then on my phone haha

yes its confirmed that the motion control minigames only work with joycons.
Other controllers are able to be connected.

Looking at the trailer. at 0:07 they show 20 characters (possibly the intro) with Ninji being 21 characters... wonder if there will be other unlock-able characters? Pauline? but 21 is a huge cast!

excited to see what other modes they have in store.
Kinda worried that it may be single joy-con... but hopefully they have a way to play any controllers. excited to play this game!

I can see both just not doing new amiibos anymore and just rereleasing old amiibos to coincide with new game releases.

Or they will do more amiibos to promote games, the next Smash Bros lineup, new mario games, etc. and if they wanna get more sales, start with the Mario Kart series Amiibo. I feel like Mario Kart 10 will be a huge release with frequent updates that bring more tracks and characters during the switch 2 life. What better way to promote new characters than Mario Kart amiibos (since MK sells boat loads of games). Idk if they should be more like hotwheels with movable wheels but would be fun way to use them, or just karts on statues is fine.

And a good game to use all the amiibos?... Tomodachi Life 2. You can unlock costumes through normal gameplay but having the costumes for your mii be quickly unlocked with amiibos would be awesome. Heck mario maker 3 bringing back the old mm1 costumes.

But thats my 2 cents.

Im so excited! Ive missed all the ganecube and wii era and this game has been on my radar but never had the chance... now I do 😊. So excited, even replayed Paper Mario 64 to prepare for this game

OMG! Iggys! I love this game! I know there are a few cheat codes to unlock everything and needing a different code to unlock Iggys Girlfriend.
The Chomps (teeth guy) and Q-Tee are my mains haha. Its such a weird and funny racing game.

I loved the 3D going into 2D segments of Mario Odyssey, and this builds upon it... so excited!
The 2d artwork reminds me of The Sword of Ditto, love it! can't wait to get a release date 🤞🏽hopefully this year

I like the current switch menu. it's simplistic and does the job quickly. I hope with the next stronger system, they keep the quick boot up and feeling while adding a bit more personality. would love themes, maybe quick way to pin games in the menu.
but honestly I don't tend to be in the menu for longer than like 10 seconds if I don't need to.

I am loving the music! This game is added to my wishlist... and if trailer music is anything to go by, excited to hear how they remixed the OST

@BANJO a big request that many have had (and I've also been wanting) is costumes and more customization (karts with different colors, etc).

I can see them doing a new gimmick that'll add more variety to the game and change up to tracks.
Maybe do a Diddy Kong Racing choice between kart, boat, or plane.
OR bring back a classic formula: do a Mario Double Dash type racing. it could really change how we play and gives us a way to do 8 players on 1 screen. and a great way to change up tracks and how they play.

25.... I swear I don't have a food fetish. but I do love shoes. Also I love just looking at character renders and looking at the details. people spend long hours with every single item on a character, gotta appreciate 😅

@CaleBoi25 yes it was SURPRISING to say the least. I kinda knew Diddy and funky were gonna get picked.
I think they might merge characters into 1 slot (I am thinking mainly tanooki Mario and cat peach as costumes. But I've seen people say the villager characters into 1 slot, or even splatoon characters).
I would love to see more character but Pauline was my ask and I am satisfied. Wouldn't mind costumes being added.

Hoping MK10 will have all the costumes from Tour and then some more.

I'm just hoping that in Mario Kart 10, they add these costumes and more! cause that's the only reason why I was so tempted to play MKT but just couldn't get the hang of the game.

I doubt MK10 will release for Switch 2 launch (if it is coming out late next year) but I see it coming out the following year Holiday 2025 -Gonna be a good holiday for Nintendy
