European/North American one is better, the Japanese one has that generic "hero with a weapon" cover art that so many others use.

Glad this game got a shout out, this was one of my earlier 3DS games and it's great fun! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Tower Defense games. Very challenging to get 5 stars on every level. I also found the item collecting to be a lot of fun too, always hoping for a rare drop from grocks.

"Who doesn't want to play as a gunslinging armadillo, anyway?" Dillon doesn't use guns, which most villagers find admirable.

@rockodoodle The sequel is better than the first game, getting 100% completion is really hard to do in both games. I own the third but haven't played it.

I like the NES: Samus Aran one, Samus is animated on the bottom screen, she shoots and runs!

The others I like that I own are the Mario Hanafuda, Zelda 30th Anniversary, Zelda: Gold Edition, The seasonal and holiday Animal Crossing themes, Famicom Memories and the regular Hanafuda theme. The rarest theme I own is the Retro City Rampage Humble Bundle theme.

North American/European wins for me, it being centered and the blade overlaying the GBA logo looks neat.

That's a lot of missions, never knew they go on for that long...

@garfreek It looks like an alpha or early access game on Steam, and with the closure coming it'll never be finished on 3DS. It's a shame really.

@Angelic_Lapras_King This is why I find the closure to be kinda dumb, the entire eShop will still exist but for whatever reason you can't buy new games. I could see Nintendo not wanting new games being published there anymore so they don't have to monitor it all but the rest just seems odd to me.

@Whalehome I too have most of the games I want, but I've still got a bunch on my wish list and I'm holding out until close to closure just on the chance there'll be a sale.

We're so close to the closure I wonder if most publisher's will do one final "Farewell" sale.

@AstroTheGamosian Slime molds are the closest thing to a living slime creature. No idea if you can raise them or if that's a good idea.

North America has a better pose for Samus but the Japanese one has a better background, I voted for the NA one since Samus is the focus.

The European and North American one is more atmospheric. Samus taking in her environment looks better than her just in a void.

I like Linebeck and Midna best. Kinda disappointed Linebeck isn't in at least second place on the poll.

North America has a neat way to display the characters, the others are lame by comparison.

One of the main components of metroidvania is platforming, this looks like it doesn't have any because the protagonist swims everywhere. Still looks like a cool game however.

"Wario's Ham and Pineapple?" Nah man, a proper Wario pizza would have a garlic bread crust.

I would like to see a Super Mario themed pizza at one of the new Nintendo theme parks.

Voted for the North American one, but the Japanese cover is a close second.

None of these are a bad choice for me, but milk chocolate is the best.

@MH4 It's a horror game. It plays similar to Resident Evil 4 so if you like that game you'll like Dead Space and Dead Space 2. If you got a modern PC (doesn't have to be a gaming PC) you should be able to run the first game without performance issues because it's an older game.

They're kinda the same, the U.S. cover just seems like a zoomed in version of the Japanese cover with some of the characters moved around.

It's going to be littered with micro transactions so I don't care for it.

Both of these are bad, but at least the North American one isn't over saturated.

The text covering Mario and his kart kinda ruin the Japanese one so I voted for the North American one.

@sixrings It's an online event so probably not. You can set up rooms for friends for online however, just press right on the D-Pad and a "with friends" bubble will appear on the mode selection.

Kinda disappointed they only translated portions of the magazine, I was hoping for the full thing.

Japan and North America are nearly tied for me, but I voted for the Japanese art.

North America looks the best to me. The others aren't bad however.

Japanese box art looks better, the darker lighting fits the horror genre better.

@JimNorman As others have pointed out, that's a picture of the boss of the Forest Temple in Ocarina of Time, although that's still a spooky place with its music and ghosts.

@NotSBlurgo I actually agree with @thesilverbrick the game is getting stale with no new content, we need new weapons and stages. Hopefully November will bring new content.

Voted for Europe, it has a very 2000s vibe to it.

@Linker2A03 I'm guessing the artist was told to draw a "futuristic" design, so the huge planets probably represent advancements in space travel. That or the solar system shrunk.

Japan wins by a long shot, it's just so much better than the other two.

@KayFiOS There were certain instructions to follow to be unblocked, it was different from what was on the Kickstarter survey and it had a short time frame to be submitted it's why many didn't get unblocked. It's been so long so I forgot what they were.

@Sequel You can still get the cap, it appears randomly inside the capsules you get, I have no idea how rare it is though but I've gotten 2 (I think) so far. Only problem is they only seem to have 1 to 2 ability slots, so you'd have to upgrade it to get a third.

Voted for Japan for showing more characters, it gives you a better idea of what the game offers in terms of choices. I also think the art is better.

I'm surprised they didn't have a Spanish speaking account before.

Voting for NA/Europe for not being so cramped.
